They sell pizza by the grams. Price is per 100g. SO GOOD!

Mmmmmm... this place was DELICIOUS! It's pretty authentic, clearly not trying as hard as some of the surrounding spots to get tourist business. I ended up here my first morning in Rome, because it was right around the corner from my Airbnb and while looking for a place I could get some cheap pizza or just a latte and charge to a card, but every place that seemed appealing to me was packed or had minimums or wasn't as cheap as I was looking for. I, for some reason, was averse to even going in this place (maybe that there aren't really tables or outdoor seating), but I finally decided to see if it had options like the other places. I was pleasantly surprised. Despite that they don't have a ton of tables and nice outdoor seating, the food and baked goods here are THE BEST around here. In my 3 days in Rome, I made it a point to stop in at least once a day. They have sheet pans of delicious pizzas, a good variety of different ones (though what they have at any given moment is what you have to choose from), and you let them know how big a section you want, then they cut across to give you that section and they heat it in the oven to warm it up. You pay by the weight which comes out surprisingly cheap. The most I spent on big sections of pizza for my mom And me and for some dessert was 7 euros (and change). Reasonable pricing, the best, most reliably good food I had while in Rome (was disappointed by most of the other places I tried) and fast service. Sometimes nobody spoke any English, so if you don't speak Italian, be ready to use your hands a lot. :D

Biscotti Selection!! Best we came across in 5 days of waking the streets if Rome!

Fantastic pizza. Quick, easy, and cheap. The folks behind the counter were super nice and patient.

Best pizza in Rome, bar none, and the folks behind the counter are lovely. We ate there every other day or so while in Rome!

A quaint tiny gelato joint just outside the Vatican hoard…read more It's small enough for roughly 3 folks at once, has many different options to choose from, the service is prompt, kind, mindful, and it's relatively cheap. My "medium" sized cone was a tad larger than a small but not American sized which I appreciated, it was just enough to fill a moderately hungry stomach, and gave me a taste of the gelato I'd been missing. Lovely little spot, stop in!

We saw a gentleman sitting outside, enjoying a gelato and it peaked our interest. The young lady working the establishment was not very friendly, but we weren't there to make friends. However, great customer service really does go a long way, especially when you're a tourist away from the comfort of home. I ordered a cone of the pistachio gelato and my best friend ordered a cone of the banana gelato. Gelato is not as sweet as ice cream so don't expect to be overwhelmed by this dessert. The pistachio gave a hint of the taste of pistachio, but could've used a little more pistachio nuts to really bring this scoop to life. I tried the banana and it was overwhelming with banana flavor... Real bananas by the way. You really have to be a banana lover to partake in this cone. I have had better gelato in the states, but wanted to try this regionally specific treat.
