This is the place to go when you crave nothing super over/the-top fancy, but you want a classic Italian restaurant with delicious food and leftovers to bring home. Dare I say that it's almost nostalgic? The portions are large. A large calzone fed our family of three for two meals. After enjoying that meal for takeout, we decided to recently eat in. We had Ellie as our server, and she's wonderful. So attentive, personable, and patient. She's a gem. We enjoyed our pasta dishes for dinner that night, and lunch at home. Lots of classics on the menu like stuffed shells, baked ziti, and the various (eggplant, chicken...) parmigianas. The entrees come with soup or salad and delicious garlic rolls. Inside, it's nothing fancy, and for what this restaurant is...it doesn't have to be. But it's clean and comfortable, and it was busy on a Saturday night. We will definitely be back! read more

Food at zuccarelli is always great , My favorites are the snapper francese, zuppa the pesce, the zuppa the clams, Stromboli all of their dishes comes with salad or soup which makes it kind of difficult to choose since they have the wedding soup I always fall for it , is delicious , Not to mention their garlic rolls and the lemoncello cake for dessert is service is great and efficient. I've been eating at Zuccarelli's since 1985 when I lived in North Lauderdale and his restaurant was a few blocks away from where I lived. After a number of years they moved the restaurant and I was disappointed. A few years later I moved to Boca Raton and right on 441 about 2 miles from my house I saw a restaurant in the corner of a strip mall and there it was ZUCCARELLI's I continued eating there for the rest of the years until he retired and sold the place to someone else but he included his recipes in the sale. I continued eating there and as fate would have it I was told about a fantastic Italian restaurant in west palm beach by the name of Zuccarelli's and I had to go there to see if it really was the same place as the one I started eating at in 1984. It turned out that papa Zuccarelli's daughter took over the reins and created a restaurant that was exactly like her fathers and even extended the menu to include many other dishes that were as delicious as all the other dishes. Now I live in Boca Raton Florida and Blairsville Georgia. We came to Florida for the holidays and see our children and grandchildren who live in pompano beach. We were getting hungry so I looked for someplace to order food from on Yelp and there it was, ZUCCARELLI's how could I not order food from there? It was so good and brought back memories from 1984. We tried Zuccarelli tonight for the first time. Everything was delicious!! Kenny was our server and he was super personable and made us feel like family. I especially loved my pasta Primavera, which is not on the menu, but they didn't make it and they made it delicious!! Pizza was perfect. Nice crunchy bottom not too much sauce. Soup and salad came with our entrées. The cannoli was also delicious. We will definitely be back. Plus the prices were very reasonable for the very large portions. We ordered Zuccarelli from our hotel bar in Pompano Beach, and the delivery came super fast! The food was outstanding -- the chicken wings were honestly the best of the best, crispy and flavorful. I also got the stuffed mushrooms, which were perfect -- especially that delicious sauce! The clam and mussels pasta was excellent, full of flavor and cooked just right. They also conveniently deliver it seems like a family own business. Everyone there is completely friendly. I even left my wallet there one time with the $800 cash a month later I ran into someone at a store. They remember me from the restaurant and said your wallet we put in the safe and over a mouth later cash was in there too ! Offered him money and did not except it. Thought I wound mention that too . After previously enjoying takeout from Z's, It was such a beautiful evening that I decided to dine there al fresco. Rather than a lot of small tables, they have a few large ones (which I like). The staff was friendly and efficient, seating me quickly and bringing yummy garlicky rolls. After perusing their varied menu, I'd decided on a meal but quickly changed my mind when the server told me about that evening's special: Crabmeat-stuffed grouper on a bed of spinach with a side of linguini. First time customer and we were staying in the area and having a difficult time finding places to eat where we felt safe as most outdoor dining places are packed. We ordered 10 medium wings and a 16" sausage and pepper pizza. The order was ready when we arrived and still hot when we got home. The wings were really small, very little chicken on them. The sauce was good, but the celery was swimming in the sauce. Not my favorite wings. The pizza was plentiful for 2 and had lots of toppings. I only wish there had been more sauce. read more

Not only is their property disgusting, trash lines their bushes out front when it would literally take an employee five minutes a day or twice a day to keep it clean, but the salad I got recently had hair in it. Local pizzeria with indoor and outdoor seating. Authentic homemade food. We enjoyed a huge bowl of Italian wedding soup that was studded with tiny meatballs, egg and fresh spinach. The chicken wings are something they are noted for as well as the pizza. We ordered a white pizza, one of my favorites, with a side order of their sausage. It was a feast. Looking for great casual Italian? This place is it. Our table had lasagna, fettuccine Alfredo, meatball sub and chicken piccata. All of it was delicious and the lasagna was great as well. It's literally like a big Italian home you're eating at. Everyone knows everyone and everyone is loud hollering at each other across the restaurant... felt like home to me....
