    A perfect NY slice!
    Amy M.

I've been living in this area since 1977- and until Martonis opened - finding anything resembling decent pizza was futile - fuggitabout great NY pizza. But now? Martoni is just a few blocks from home and it is truly a gift from above! REAL NY slices! The crust is well done and cracks along the spine when you fold it in half, oil and oregano drip down your wrist - while the tip does not droop. You take that first bite and the cheese stretches out, and if you're not careful, it will burn your lower lip. JUST like pizza growing up in NY. TAKE TYE TIME TO GO if you grow up in New York and know what real pizza is, and even if you didn't grow up in the northeast. It's just great pizza!

Open late, they have really good pizza and a full bar. They have touch tunes, and pool tables. Our bartender was very sweet and she made great drinks. The food came out fairly quickly, about 10-15 minutes.

MarTony's Pizza Lounge has a fun vibe with pool tables and dart boards, and the thin crust pizza is amazing-- will definitely be coming back here to try more of the menu

We had a nice lunch here on a rainy afternoon. We sat at the counter as there were a couple other folks there. Otherwise, the restaurant was empty. The place hasn't been open that long. Kathleen the one server holding down the fort was very nice. My husband got a cheese slice of pizza. He chose the thin crust one (they also have Sicilian). He said it was good. He also had a small salad along with it. I got a chicken Parmesan sandwich. Kathleen told me that they make the rolls for the sandwiches in-house as well so it took a bit longer to be ready. The breaded chicken was seasoned and cut in pieces. It had cheese melted on it. It was good, but a tad dry without any added sauce. That would have helped a lot. I wound up eating half my sandwich there and taking the other half home. The restaurant is attached to a motel. We have been here before when it was a couple other restaurants. There's parking in the lot. And a very high concrete step is out front of the entrance door that requires your full attention. Prices were quite reasonable. I think I'd try the pizza next time...

We stopped in for lunch today. I had a slice of thin crust cheese pizza and a side salad. The salad was cool and crisp and the pizza had a nice bite, with pleasant sauce and cheese. Kathleen was a big help in selecting my order. They are offering a limited menu during their soft opening.

    Picante Salami and Pepperoni Pizza

Had the Picante Salami and Pepperoni pizza. It was amazing and plan to be back soon! Best spicy pizza around. People need to know this lace is there, I give this an 8.1 on the Portnoy Scale. Best in Pompano by a mile!

Service was really good, we were greeted as soon as we walked in. The waitress was super nice and attentive! The pizza was decent, we had a coupon for free large cheese pizza. It was burnt on the bottom, the kids liked it other than being burnt but I was not blown away by it. The chicken wings were also decent and I liked the hot sauce but felt they needed a few more minutes in the fryer to cook all the fat and make them crunchy. They were cooked but I don't like chewy fat on my wings. They should crunch when you bite into them, in my opinion. The drinks were good we had a Tito's and ginger. The live band was very good but very treble heavy with no bass to the music, so while the guys could both sing well and play well I didn't much care for the very loud music that we had to shout over to talk.

Food was amazing. Great open space. The tomato sauce in the pizza is special!! Great music playing. Logan got to roam a little. He loved it!! Service was good. This place is a hidden gem.

Sea Mario has been bookmarked on my Yelp for over a year. While trying to make some Valentine's…read moreplans, my husband asked where I wanted to go, and I immediately thought of this restaurant. Even a few weeks in advance, Valentine's Day was already booked, so we made a reservation for Valentine's eve. This is not a restaurant I would come to without a reservation because I saw people get turned away. Located in an unassuming little strip mall, you would never know that there is a sparkling gem of a place tucked in the middle of the shops. Parking can be a little tricky, but we were able to snag a spot in front. Inside, this quaint restaurant has such welcoming decor in black-and-white with some accent colors. There are lots of little knickknacks and decorations from Italy. When we entered, we were greeted by one of the owners, Nadia. We had a short wait before our table was ready. When seated, Nadia went over all the specials and answered our questions regarding her recommendations on the menu. Her husband, Mario, also assists with serving. He also greeted us later during our dinner to check in about our meal. Now let's get to the heart of this review...the food. As someone with Sicilian heritage, I have been fortunate to visit Italy and have had some pretty amazing fresh seafood and pasta dishes there. And of course, I've had wonderful Italian restaurant experiences here as well. But I have to say, Sea Mario tops the list. Before I discuss the food menu, I just want to point out they have an extensive wine list. The menu offers several selections whether one is vegetarian, wants steak/lamb instead of pasta, or has come here for the dishes 'di mare.' We started off with an appetizer. Arancini rice balls with mushrooms and cheese. The Arancini balls flanked a bowl of stracciatella cheese. This was a special appetizer not on the regular menu. It was fantastic and dare I say luxurious? (Please put in on the regular menu!) For our main courses, my husband had the Fettuccini Florida Golden Crab & Scallops. It was Caribbean Italian fusion inspired with a flavorful, but not (hot) spicy, pasta sauce. I opted for the Maine Lobster Catalana. I have had my share of seafood pasta dishes throughout my life, but when this entree was placed in front of me, the aroma was so fragrant that I knew I was in for something special. The pasta sauce was made with high-quality tomatoes and caramelized onions (which I think really aided this sauce and made it different). The dish had clams and, of course, succulent lobster tail and the claw meat. The lovely aroma was not a tease because the dish tasted excellent. If having freshly made pasta with lobster sounds appealing to you, this is the dish to get. (They make their own pasta and the seafood is very fresh.) We ended our meal by sharing a fresh cannoli. The shell was not hard like a typical cannoli, rather it had the consistency of a doughnut. The ricotta filling with pistachio was absolutely out of this world. The plate was beautifully decorated with a berry drizzle in the shape of a seahorse. As you can tell, I'm pretty smitten with Sea Mario. I definitely want to return to this romantic restaurant for our anniversary later this year. Thank you for the incredible service and dishes.

Excellent. Mussels were large, and a bit gamey, nice light sauce. good. Had a sausage, finely cut up, and made with a pan fried topping and cheese and nice red sauce. Good I wanted pasta and garlic oil and butter. Also wanted veal and eggplant parmigiana . Neither on the menu. And no can have. Had a cannoli to go. Excellent wine menu. Two of us about $100. I'll come back because nice atmosphere

Di Farina - A True Hidden Gem!…read more Visited Di Farina for a company dinner tonight, and I am so glad I did! This is one of those hidden gems you almost don't want to share, just so there's always a table waiting for you. We started with a spread of appetizers: grilled octopus, garlic shrimp, fried burrata with arugula, and perfectly layered potatoes topped with braised short rib and fonduta. Every single dish was incredible--I honestly can't pick a favorite, though the short ribs stole my heart. For mains, I had the osso buco with pappardelle (their pastas are all freshly made in-house, and you can taste the difference). Our table also enjoyed the branzino, which was deboned tableside, the massive squid ink seafood linguini (so loaded with seafood you could barely see the pasta), and a rich, creamy carbonara that was perfectly balanced. Desserts were the perfect finale: tiramisu, cheesecake, and a refreshing lemon sorbetto, each as good as the last. The service was flawless, and the entire staff is Italian, adding to the authentic charm of the experience. Di Farina has officially become my new go-to spot for Italian nights. 10/10 on food, service, and atmosphere--can't wait to return!

The bread was served warm with some olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I liked that combination. Our entrees came out pretty fast. Maybe 12 to 15 minutes after we ordered. This makes me think the food is not freshly made. I would be happier waiting for my food. I ordered the penne alla gigi. The portion was huge!!! The flavor tasted really off. I absolutely love Italian food and am usually pretty forgiving if the food is not "amazing" The sauce was not good on this dish. I have never tasted anything like it.. The pancetta did not have much flavor. I sampled the chicken parmigiana and the spaghetti. The chicken parmesan was pretty good. It was cheesy. The sauce for the spaghetti was mediocre. I forgot to mention both dishes came out really hot which was appreciated. I ordered the limoncello cake and this was phenomenal. I thought it looked too yellow when it was placed in front of me. The taste was so delicious. It was not overly sweet, just perfect. I loved the whipped cream. My friend ordered the Ice Cream Sunday which is vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup. I sampled this too and it was ok, nothing special. Without the excellent service, views and just beauty of the restaurant this would have been 2 stars. My visit ended on the right note with the limoncello cake. In reality, I just wanted a delicious meal. I did not receive that and I did leave mostly disappointed. :(
