This is a small mom & pop style restaurant. The staff was very friendly and the pizza was excellent! A nice ratio of sauce to cheese and the crust was crispy and flavorful! Wish I lived closer to this place.

Not a pizza lover by any means but there are a few pizza places that are worthy of a good review and this is one of them. Ordered a 16" onion and olive pizza for pick up and it was ready upon arrival. I'm into well-done thin pizzas which this is and hate the doughy type. They offer thirteen different toppings for only $1.50 each, which is about half off the normal pizzeria price. It was still hot when I got home and it was excellent.

Pretty good NY style pizza. I also ordered a chicken parm pizza with yucca fries. I got my order to go. The staff was friendly. The place was fairly small but decorated well. I would order from here again.

The pizza was incredible, delicious and flavorful. Unfortunately, I will never order food through the Yelp app again. The order was placed and deliver schedule was changed 3 times each time being delayed with the same message that "you'll be notified when the restaurant confirms." I finally called Prospect directly and learned that the pizzas were ready, but I could not pick them up because they wouldn't be paid and were still waiting on a grubhub driver to be assigned. The pizzas finally arrived an hour later... needless to say the pizzas were room temperature at that point. I would not recommend anyone direct order through Yelp. I certainly never will again.

We were craving pizza and we decided to check out this spot since it's so close to our home and we had heard wonderful things. They did not disappoint, the meatballs were so tender and flavorful! Pizza was not too bad either. The salad was also very good. Had plenty of dressing on it. We'd come back to try more!

First time visiting in Fort Lauderdale. We wanted something to eat that we don't have back home and saw this pizzeria had high star reviews. We did have to pick up the order but it was fairly close. The food was very good and satisfied our stomachs! If you enjoy sweets the cannoli hit the spot to cleanse your palate

Walking in the pizza side is chill and a real intimate vibe perfect for a date any. Our waitress Rebecca was so honest fun and attentive very helpful and all out a great recommender. The pizza was amazing!! we ordered the margherita pizza and added pepperoni on one side and hot honey on the side. The pizza was cooked perfectly well done on the light amazing crust. It's like no other crust I've had. Pepperoni's were thin and little perfect size if you eat pork a little lol. Hot honey was amazing it was my partners first time trying honey on pizza he's hooked. I ordered the black cherry soda Becca asked if I wanted ice and brought me a cup of it and it was the perfect crushed ice my favorite. We also tried the cola thc drink and it was smooth tasted like diet but would try again different flavor. I then ordered the recommended cannoli and it was delicious perfect amount of chocolate chips and I liked the shell the cherry on top was the perfect way to end the date. I'll be back to try the crème brûlée and many other pizzas. Don't forget to try the pinball machines they looked fun but we came to eat lol. The price was worth it the pizza was great ! Very light and fulfilling can't wait to come back. A happy mooner !

I went in chasing a craving and walked out like I had just shaken hands with Pittsburgh itself. The burger I ordered showed up stacked like it had something to prove. Juicy, well-seasoned meat, tangy coleslaw, fresh tomato, and a pile of fries stuffed right into the sandwich like someone said "plates are optional, courage is not." This thing is an entire meal between your hands. Napkins were not a suggestion, they were a survival tool. Every bite hit. Messy in the best possible way. If you've never had fries inside your sandwich, congratulations, your life is about to take a turn. Let's talk about that sauce for a second. Slightly sweet, ridiculously good, and honestly disrespectful that they don't sell it by the jar. I would've walked out with two and a backup. On the side, we grabbed onion rings that came out crisp, golden, and ready for business. No sad, limp rings here. These had crunch, attitude, and a purpose. My wife went with the lasagna, and this is where things got a little chaotic. Flavor? Absolutely there. Rich, comforting, the kind of sauce that makes you slow down and pay attention. But the temperature situation was all over the map. Hot at the bottom, warm up top, and a mysterious cool zone in the middle like it was hiding secrets. It didn't ruin it, but it definitely kept it from greatness. We closed it out with a slice of cheesecake that was light, delicate, and knew exactly when to stop. Not heavy, not over-the-top, just a clean, smooth finish that said "you made good choices today." Shoutout to our server, whose name I completely missed because I was busy wrestling a sandwich the size of a small child. Friendly, dialed in, always there when we needed him and never hovering like a helicopter parent. Four stars, and it hurts a little not to make it five. Fix the lasagna consistency and we're not even having a conversation about it next time. Because yes, there will be a next time. And when I come back, I'm ordering that sandwich again, bringing extra napkins, and leaving my dignity in the car.

After all the hype and difficulty getting in, I was very curious to see if it would actually live up to expectations--and honestly, it did. First, the cons. The restaurant is tiny. Like...teeny tiny. There's basically no standing room when waiting to be seated or picking up an order, so everyone kind of awkwardly crowds near the front door while servers and bartenders are constantly weaving around you looking mildly annoyed that you exist there. Eventually, people started gathering near the opposite end of the bar by the bathrooms because there was at least a little more breathing room. Once seated, the atmosphere is very lively, loud, and fast-paced. Not necessarily a bad thing, but definitely not the place for a quiet intimate dinner. Our server also may have been having an off night because there was a bit of attitude mixed in throughout the meal. That said... the FOOD. Unreal. Absolutely worth the wait and reservation struggle. Everything we ordered was exceptional. The sweet long pepper, Savage Garden salad, and Bolognese pasta were all incredible. Then came the pizzas--the fresh tomato pizza ("upside down pie") especially was ridiculously good. The squash blossom and cold pulled burrata pizza was also delicious. To finish--because we weren't stuffed enough--the strawberry olive oil cake. A literal perfect ending to the meal. Despite a rough start, the food completely stole the show. Easily an 11/10 meal. Now I just need to survive trying to get another reservation for round two.

I had to do the veal bolognese which was very comforting and filling while my husband had a hearty sausage and kale panini that I found to be a little too heavy for my taste. I would definitely like to try more from their menu as there were a lot of things that caught my eye but couldn't fit in for this visit. I would try to find a less popular time, if that's even possible.

The name says it all. DNY stands for Detroit and New York, and they serve both styles with equal mastery. They also offer gluten free options and, even better, a full lineup of house made vegan choices. What really sets DNY Pizza apart is the level of care that goes into their vegan menu. Their vegan cheese, vegan sausage, and vegan pepperoni are all made in house, and you can taste the difference. They even make vegan cookies, and while the vegan ice cream is not made in house, it is still excellent. We ordered a New York style pizza with vegan pepperoni and mushrooms and a Detroit style pizza with vegan sausage, peppers, and onions. Both were incredible. The crusts were perfect. New York is foldable and flavorful, Detroit is thick and crispy on the edges. Choosing a favorite really comes down to personal preference. I honestly could not pick one. The vegan sausage was especially impressive, full of flavor, and the pepperoni was cooked just right. Next time the only thing I would change is asking for extra cheese. It was so good that I just wanted more. The sauce is just as good as everything else, and I recommend asking for a side of it for dipping. I usually leave some crust behind, but not here. Both crusts were so well done that I did not leave a single bite. A heads up. Seating is limited, and because everything is made fresh to order, expect about a fifteen to twenty minute wait. If you are hungry, call ahead or order in advance. Overall, DNY Pizza is absolutely worth trying. There are not many places making their own vegan cheese, vegan sausage, vegan pepperoni, and even their own vegan cookies. Give them a shot and let me know what you think when you go.
