I scheduled a medical trip on Saturday, 4/4/26 for appointment on 4/6/26 @ 9:30 am. I called to verify my ride @ 8:30am. I called back because my ride was late picking me up & I found out zTrip didn't have a driver. I missed my appointment & had to reschedule. This has happened 3 times. This is inexcusable the company shouldn't have a license to provide services. read more

Went to a Walmart in Missouri. Had no trouble booking a ride to get there. Trying to get home was a different story. I ended up waiting 5 hours in the extreme cold until I took a cab with a worker going home for the night. I wish I could sue them! Don't use them! Knowing that I lived a bit outside of San Antonio I called and verified that we were still on the books. 1:45 and still nothing so I called and asked for dispatch and they re-entered the booking. 2pm rolls around and they are just dispatching the driver who calls and tells me that it will be 30-45 minutes which would make us late. Horrible horrible company! Beware! They charge the driver like $60 to use one of their cars per day, which is basically the same as doing 2 trips AND they charge you $54 PER DAY to use their tablet! So basically you have to do FOUR trips to recover from their fees...so you are working for free for the first FOUR trips! What a greedy greedy company! Plus if the driver wants to use their own car they have to pay for their own gas and have wear and tear on their car. So you would have to work 8 to 10 hours JUST TO BREAK EVEN! I booked a taxi for June 11, 2023 (Sunday) to pick me up on June 12th (Monday) for 2:30am to take me to the Kansas City International Airport! I received a confirmation & even a call to confirm that I would be picked up. Monday came, no taxi at 2:30, 3:00am, etc. Mind you I had an early flight to take. When you have an appointment, especially a doctors appointment you need someone you could rely on, and Gerry's that one. he will never let you down. If he says he'll be there, he will be there and do everything. It takes to get there on time. If he's not on time, it's rare and believe me it's not his fault. He's never been late for me by the way. he's very professional and he knows what he's doing. You'll feel like you're in safe hands. But with all of that, he is so considerate. I would have rated it lower if I could. I am Kenneth G and I set up a cab pickup appointment on the 27th of March 2024 for the day of 3rd of April 2024 at 6:00am from home to the Union Station. The trip was to be a start of a train ride to a two week cruise. It was almost ruined when no vehicle showed up. I called and the dispatcher verified the trip and claimed she would send one out as soon as possible. But when I called back, she indicated she could not get a vehicle to me. I had to drive my own vehicle and park it in the Union Station parking garage which ended up costing me $460.00 total and would have ruined an expensive cruise vacation had I not have made it there in time. Yet because of the delay, I still was not able to check the two larger luggage before the cutoff time. I usually don't write up reviews, but this company, zTrip, warranted one read more

I would rather walk 20 miles than ever do business with this company. I am a caregiver to a totally awesome and very active individual who happens to be quadriplegic. Yesterday I worked an evening shift instead of morning shift so I could get them ready for a costume party they were really excited for. We called zTrip hours before the event to reserve a ride for him in a wheelchair accessible vehicle at a specific time. They confirmed. They sent him a confirmation text and said they would call about 10 minutes before pick-up at 7 pm. Well, about 6:55 rolls around and nada. So we call. They confirm his reservation and tell us they are just waiting on driver availability. K, good deal. 7:05 rolls around. Still nothing. We call back again. They apologize for the delay and said they will expedite to dispatch. Okay, great. 7:15 rolls around. We call again. At this point we requested to talk to dispatch. They acted defensive and asked why and we said because we needed to CONFIRM that there was even a vehicle available that night. We get connected to dispatch and they tell us, no. There is NOT someone on duty that night to drive a wheelchair accessible vehicle so they are trying to call people in. We look up the bus schedule and realizes that if they can put their wheelchair at full speed they may be able to make the bus in 12 minutes. However, zTrip calls back saying that have not 1, but 2 drivers available. So they headed back home. They were then told that they found a driver but that there had been 2 requests for a wheelchair accessible vehicle and the driver opted to only complete the drive for the location nearest to her. My boss never got picked up, missed the bus that could have taken them, and ended up missing this charity party that they really wanted to go to because this company never told us there was not actually an available driver to fit the needs thus giving us time to make other arrangements. We asked why we received a confirmation text if there was not a confirmed ride? They said the confirmation was for BOOKING. Not confirmation of a ride. Despite asking repeatedly with EVERY SINGLE CALL over a period of 3+ hours, including the FIRST call to schedule (which took 15 minutes and 4-5 transfers of my call) we were assured every time that a handicapped accessible vehicle WOULD be available. At no point did anyone tell us there was potential for this ride to not happen. In fact, zTrip canceled the reservation later without notification after there was STILL no vehicle 3 hours after the scheduled pick-up reservation. What if this would have been for a wedding? Or the birth of a child? For a legal appointment? To get required medications before the pharmacy closed? Absolutely unacceptable and with no true apology or explanation given. read more

OK - so let's talk about the zTrip courtesy to others... I and my son who has difficulty walking were leaving his doctor's office in Overland Park today. There was a zTrip van parked directly in front of the sidewalk so we could not get to our car without walking more than double what we should have walked. When we finally get in my car - the zTrip van, still parked in the same spot in the driveway was blocking my ability to back out of my parking space. The lady driver made no attempt to allow me space to leave... after trying to back up without hitting her - I gave up. I got out of my car and walked to her driver side, knocked on her window to ask if she was going to be very long. This is by far the worst company to call when you need a ride. Three times they have had me standing out in the cold for over an hour. Tonight was over 2 hours. I called them at 6:40 pm. By 9:15 I had been called by the automated caller to inform me that they haven't found me a driver 6 times. I had called them back to see what was taking so long 8 times. And when I was finally told by a dispatcher that my ride was confirmed to arrive in 8 minutes another dispatcher immediately cancelled because I didn't hang up on the one to talk to the other. When you call this company they list off a series of different taxi and ride-sharing services to choose from. How is it that you direct so many drivers but never have a driver. Finally at 9:10 the cashier at the store offered me a ride. He said he's seen others have the same issues. Trust me you're better off walking. Or steal a car. Even getting locked up you'll probably be out and home before they get there read more

I use Ztrip as transportation to work and home when my husband is working either later or earlier than me. I try to place a reservation before the day I will need a ride. My job is about 15 minutes from my home. I will usally tip 25 to 30%. The other night I had made a reservation for an 8 pm pickup at my job to home. I received the call to confirm still needed a ride. I called back and confirmed I still needed the ride. Saw on the app that the assigned car was about 11 minutes away, then the driver called says will be there in 15 minutes, and then had dispatch call saying the driver was 11 minutes away. Now the driver was north of my location. He appeared to be in a housing area and did not move for approximately 15 minutes or so. Then he seemed to meander along city streets rather than take the highway that was maybe 5 minutes from where he started. He finally appears to be heading down the right highway toward me according to the little car on the app. Well, imagine my surprise when he goes past the exit to my workplace and heads south of where he is to pick me up, and stops in another housing area that is about 7 minutes away for another 15 minutes. It has now been about 1 1/2 hours after my requested pickup time (I don't mind a 15-20 minutes wait). I made a call to dispatch, they state they are going to reassign my ride and give them 15 minutes. Shortly after, one of my managers came out and offer to take me home. I called and cancelled that ride. I then booked another reservation a couple of days later and scheduled it for 1 1/2 hours before I actually needed to be at my job. Again it was a pickup at my house and drop off at my work, an approximately a 15-minute trip. I Confirmed needed the ride when they called. No one was dispatched at all. Fortunately, my husband was able to make it home in time for me to drive myself to work on time. I think that if someone makes a reservation for a pickup on a certain date and time, it should be prioritized over a last-minute pickup. It is a guaranteed fare for the driver. That customer may need to be somewhere at a certain time and are doing the company the courtesy of planning ahead. It just makes good customer relations. I think I am going to see what other alternatives available to hopefully avoid this issue. read more
