We have lived in the area for years and ALWAYS wanted to try this restaurant as we passed it all the time. Yesterday was my momma's birthday and she chose here. I couldn't think of a more perfect place to celebrate her. Making a reservation is recommended as it tends to fill up quickly I was told. We chose to sit out on the patio which is A LOT more spacious than you think. It is covered with beautiful artwork and seating has pillows and linens that give you a very chill yet fancy vibe. The inside which I didn't spend much time it- also seemed very adorable. Our waitress Hailey, amongst all the staff, were fabulous. Very attentive and friendly and you can tell it's a very close knit group of people. The menu was the perfect size. They have a small choosing of apps, salads, entrees, sandwiches, pastas and pizzas which I found to be key - as enormous menus can make deciding extremely hard especially when you've never been before. My sister and I split the seafood pizza and both got a cup of leek soup with side salads. The leek soup was INCREDIBLE and I'd been dying to try this soup before so I'm super glad I got to here. The entire meal was delicious. They bring you out a basket of bread and do a great job with refilling the table with bottles of water. My mom got chicken piccata which is her all time favorite and OHMYGOSH- it tasted so fresh from the lemon. They give you the option of eating it with pasta or carrots and potatoes. My mom chose the traditional pasta side and was very happy with her choice. My niece ordered ravioli and wedding soup. She is a PICKY eater and she absolutely loved her meal. She also tried the leek soup broth and thought that was delicious too. Overall- I could continue raving and give this restaurant a billion stars and it wouldn't be enough. The bar vibe has always been fun even though limited seating. Specials have been delicious and with great variety. What a huge disappointment! Zottola's is place we considered a treat to have diner. So to Celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary of course, that's where I wanted to go. I called and made a reservation for 2 at 5:00. We wanted to splurge and make a nice evening of it. Arrived, one table seated with food. We were the only other table. Ordered the meatball diner, and the seafood pizza. Thinking, next order the leek soup and mussels, dessert even if we just took it home. Another couple arrived with lots of fanfare. Put orders in. My salad arrived. And we sat, and sat. The other couple were done with salads, mussels, and fried fish diner and other entree served. We're still waiting on pasta and meatballs and a pizza. Trying to pretend this was going to be amazing 25th Anniversary. The seafood pizza came cold. By then Husbands beer was warm. And I misunderstood the pasta, thinking it was cavatelli. Not Angel Hair pasta. The Server took 15% off the bill using friend/family discount. I thought I did everything right, I know making reservations is a big deal there. And you will get an attitude if you don't. But they had 1 table of 4 come in while we waited. I have been here a couple of times and am never disappointed. Most recently, we came in about 20 minutes before their kitchen closed and they were so kind to invite us in and make us dinner. We ate at the bar, and I had the chicken piccata with Penne, which was amazing. their salad dressings are homemade and incredible. My boyfriend had the shrimp scampi and really enjoyed it. What a pleasant and charming oasis in mountain country! I highly recommend this place for a romantic date night. The decor is eclectic and country. You kinda feel like you're dining at someone's home. We sat on the patio on a warm summer evening. I ordered the leek soup, spinach salad and scallop linguini. As others have mentioned, the leek soup was delicious! Buttery and flavorful. I recommend asking for bread to dip in all of the glorious goodness. You get a TON of spinach, a lot even for an entree salad, but I never complain about too much of a good thing-and it was good. I wanted to order the salad as an alternative to the house salad, but that was not an option, even after I offered to pay extra. Not a big deal. The scallops were cooked to perfection and so substantial, I was full after eating 2 with the pasta. My bf ordered the surf and turf with crab cake (see picture). He (and I) LOVED it. The filet was cooked as ordered and seasoned right. The crab cake, we both agreed, was some of the best we've ever eaten (and he's from New Orleans). No filler in the cakes, large chunks of fresh crab meat. We even surprisingly enjoyed the carrots, which were not mushy, nor too buttery. But the star on that plate?! Those heavenly cheesy mashed potatoes! My sister, who benefited from our substantial "doggy bag," was blown away! I'm still thinking about those potatoes,..... For desert, we took homemade butter pecan to go. They were out of brownies, bummer. The butter pecan was ok, kinda sour tasting. Our server Kirstin (I think that's her name) gave us a complimentary scoop of the jalapeño ice cream and that was surprisingly really good. So unique. I'd recommend living on the dangerous side and giving it a try. So why 4 and not 5 stars? For one, our entrees were brought out right after salads/soup were served. I kinda chalked it up as, again, eating family style. Still, makes for awkward maneuvering around the table. My biggest gripe?! This wonderful menu and beautifully appointed space DOESN'T HAVE A WINE LIST?!?! I'm not saying they have to offer Chalk Hill or Duckhorn, but it felt disrespectful to enjoy those scallops with that cheap wine they serve! They could also offer a bread basket and expresso, ..... The service was friendly, space is romantic, food was incredible and the prices were more than fair. I look forward to returning when I'm in the area. read more

This place is amazing! I honestly can't say enough. The food is freshly prepared and the taste is out of this world. We have had everything from pizza, to fish, pasta and of course the chicken piccata! Love the atmosphere, it's like you're walking into someone's home that has been waiting to entertain you. I got here for my reservation and after 25 minutes a waitress took my drink order after making sure every single other table was doing good TWICE! after two rounds someone decided to wait on us. then i went to drink my water and there was dried lipstick on the glass! this is unbelievable. they have a note on the table saying to stay calm and respect your waitress because of the lack of waitresses. that doesn't mean that's an excuse to have not a great time. read more

Five stars is a rarity for me. My only negative is on me, not on them. I have lived within 20 minutes of this place for over 15 years and I just went there for the first time a week ago. Shame on me and definitely my loss. We will be back and we will bring others or tell others to go. We sat at a table in the bar area and Trevor, the bartender, was also our waiter. Great bartender and great server. They make awesome cocktails and have a nice beer selection. The food portions were enough to fill but not obnoxious just for show. Been driving past this place twice a week for about a month. Not open Monday it seems but went today and glad we gave it a shot. Had wings, which were very meaty. The leek soup is no lie from the previous reviews, great! Pizza, not too thick, not too thin but crispy on the bottom, really good. Haddock Battered fish hanging off the bun with some nice HOT fries. Ranch and blue cheese taste homemade (I believe they are). Steak cooked perfectly medium rare with smashed reds and some thick cut buttered carrots (odd to have two starchy veggies together, but the reviews on both were good so it was worth the extra carb intake). Bread served was superb, trying the pasta with it next time. Glass of wine and it rounded out to be $70+ bucks. Will most certainly be back either before or after vision therapy. I gave the place 5 Stars because even though the restaurant is way out in the country and you could hit a deer the food and decor was amazing. In the past it was a pub and still has a nice bar and patio the dining room is decorated nicely. First time visit, sat outside, it was a nice night and the patio was nice (chairs a bit uncomfortable but there are tables with a bench you can pick). Waiter was great. BUT 2 of us came first and we were not allowed to order an appetizer or drink until full party was there. Hmmmm. That is a loss of money on their part but we kept begging and they "allowed" us to order which was good since the rest of our party was late by 15 minutes. I ordered a salad and although it was ok, nothing special for $10 (I was excited about the beets but there were just 3 canned beets on the plate) I added chicken which came to $17, again nothing really great about it. Was really like leafy lettuce with chicken. Will I go back? Probably not, I can get a really good salad locally (north hills area) for the same price or most likely cheaper. read more

This place was kind of all over the map for me, but ultimately pretty solid food. The location is VERY small.. we had to wait for our table for a bit and were shuffling every 90 seconds as you can't help but be in the way. I get the sense this is a family run operation as our server's (very hard working and sweet) young son brought things to our table a few times. We had a party of 12 so luckily I got to try a lot. The good- buffalo chicken dip appetizer. The very good- burgers and steak sandwich. The not so good- ravioli (noodle was fine just not a fan of the sauce at all, and the pizza was not great either.
