Our home drainage system is as complicated as a human circulatory system! Prior owner did not take care of this system for decades. Hats off to Javier and Jin for customer service. They took care to minimize mess in of the drain clog site and took care of the issue. They also went the extra mile to make sure a leaking toilet at the wax ring was also taken care of which occurred due to the two wastelines being connected and backed up. Now the cost to unclog the wasteline was not inexpensive, but the extra care made it worth every penny. Nice job guys. read more

Arrived quickly, which was great. They were polite and professional. But wouldn't give an guidance on price -- "it's all per job" they told me. They quoted me $350 for a simple hose/gasket repair on a toilet. The technician said it'd take him 15 minutes + parts to fix it. I told them that was outrageous and offered $250 (still to much, but...). Then they offered me 5% off the $350 if I gave them a Google review. I said no thanks. I suspected they'd try this given the 'no cost to come out' and offering zero guidance on cost when asked point blank. read more

Sam then let me know how much it will cost me for them to locate the direction of my old cast iron pipes. My goal is to repipe the drain pipes with a.b.s. The amount was very reasonable for the type of work they did. Both techs were friendly and stayed busy. The pipes were located and marked using blue tape. I can't rave enough about Zoom Drain. I had a shower clogged in my house and I usually just hand snake it. My snake is 25 feet long but the clog was beyond that. I visited Angi's List and it recommended several plumbers. I got several but the most courteous was Zoom Drain. They offered to come out in the morning and take a look with a no obligation quote. They told me they did not know what it was but a service technician would come out and quote it. Sam M. came out and he arrived on time exactly at the time they said they would be here. He sent me a text 30 minutes when he was on his way. He arrived with an apprentice and they were very neat and put on booties before they entered my house. They diagnosed it and quoted me $291 to unclog it. He said they would also guarantee the work for 30 days. I was under no obligation to accept it. It was more expensive than some quotes I got via text from Angi but he was already there. It seemed like a no haggle price and I wanted to be respectful of his time. He also said he would put a camera down and inspect it. I might have been able to save a little bit of money but it wasn't worth it as I value ethical companies. It is GENIUS to offer to come out and diagnose the problem with no obligation. Maybe others do this as well but the manner in which Sam was. Very punctual, polite, clean and respectful made me want to do business with this company and I would highly recommend and use them again on any plumbing issues. I accepted the quote and Sam immediately got tools from his van and cleared the clog. He said it was hair all clogged about 35 feet down which explains why I couldn't get it with my snake. He also put some cleaning fluid in it to clean the drains. (My hand snake device only went 25 feet down which explains why I couldn't get it to unclog). Very quick and efficient. I sent in the email at 8 PM and he arrived at 9:30 AM. All very quick and efficient and professional. I'd highly recommend this company to anyone. read more

Zoom did the job! Josh did a great job unclogging our kitchen sink for us. Josh and Stanley arrived and were courteous and wore disposable booties each time they came in and out of the house. Josh I informed me about options including snaking the pipe, or snaking the water jetting the pipe emptying into the main public line. We chose that process feeling it would be worth the extra money instead of having to have the snake done again in a shorter period of time. The jetting clears out 98% of the gunk in the pipe. Also included is the Zoom Drain Bio to keep the pipes nice. Josh and Stanley really cleaned up nicely after they finished the job. We will definitely call Zoom Drains again! read more

We called Zoom around noon regarding an ongoing problem with a clogged drain in our kitchen. We'd had a couple visits from another vendor, and each time the problem would return a few months later. Sam was our technician, he quickly snaked a camera into the drain, showing us exactly where our clog was. He shared several options with us, never making us feel pressured one way or another. We chose to do the hydro jetting process, and we're especially pleased to see how much stuff we removed. Sam was great! My rental unit had a clogged drain over the weekend, and Zoom said they could be there the same day. They would not quote me an estimated price to clear the drain until after they saw the problem; wouldn't even quote me a "per hour" rate. anyway, they showed up on time and discovered the drain was clogged primarily by shells the tenants had put down the garbage disposal. The plumber quickly cleared this clog and also replaced a short pipe attached to an adjoining sink that he said was cracked and needed replacing (I wasn't there so I took his word for it). The whole process took about 45 minutes (less than an hour) and I was charged $216 for this service - very pricey for less than an hour's work!!! There are other plumbing services that charge less than $100 to clear a simple clog and I will contacting those companies first the next time I need a plumber. Bottom line: good service, but very expensive! read more
