Called this morning to get more information and understand their services. I spoke to Ed and he said go to the website to review our services, which I kindly stated I have along reading your reviews. OK, I never thought I would be writing a review on a dumpster service, but this company is WORTHY. I called around looking for a dumpster, got the owner on the phone and he had a brand freakin new dumpster at my house in a couple hours. He followed instructions to a T and placed it perfectly in a tricky spot in my driveway. Great communication via text message for pickup and delivery. Charged a little more than the price list for overage and promptly refunded the difference on pickup. And the guy is funny. I sent him a text about filling his dumpster with concrete and tires (a joke). He flipped out and called me and we had a chuckle. And he burned me good on pickup. Sent me a massive bill for 14,000 lb. overload - an actual load he had dropped off earlier in the day. I fell for it hook line and sinker. Good guy, good company. Zoom Disposal quoted a price to my company that we both agreed to. Upon arriving at my jobsite, they tried to limit amount we could put in dumpster and also raise the price.... reaching in with both hands so to speak. After already paying for the dumpster and after our disagreement on them raising the price and dumpster limit, they told us to take rubble out of dumpster because they were coming to pick it up. Long story short, nothing came out of that dumpster. The only thing that came out of that was NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. He is completely lying, we sent him pics of the depth and explained the amount of steel that was inside. He tried telling me that he doesn't go by weight, but "eyeballs " by the yard... I'm not sure what these other bad reviews are all about. I searched many companies to find a price I was happy with. I sent in my inquiry online and was almost immediately contacted by the company. They asked me to text them the details (address, day to drop off, etc.) I was happy to deal with them via text, much easier than email. We agreed on a price and I gave them my credit card info, and a few minutes later I got the receipt. I've never had such an easy transaction outside of a store. The only thing about the payment was that it would have been nice to know that they charge a deposit on the dumpster, but they explained it to me when I asked about it, and all was well. It's like a security deposit on a hotel room etc., part of doing business. They confirmed drop-off and asked me to let them know when I was done. I texted them when I was done, they picked it up an hour later, and confirmed final price based on final weight, as agreed upon. I would use them again and recommend them to others. We were removing some kitchen cabinets and flooring and had other various household stuff to get rid of so we needed a dumpster. Every time I called, they picked up the phone so I didn't have to chase anyone down. They were very clear with pricing and timing. Once the dumpster was scheduled, it was delivered on time, perfectly set in our driveway right where we said we wanted it. We got confirmation texts when the dumpster was delivered and also after it was picked up. All other communication after it was scheduled was done via text and I got a response back within 15 min each time I had a question! If I ever need a dumpster in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to use Zoom again. read more

Great service too as I texted him at dinner time on a Saturday evening to inquire about rates for stuff not covered on the approved items list and he got right back to me. Called Zoom and spoke to one of there representatives. Was really easy to schedule with them and get a quote. Their prices are competitive with other companies offering the same service. I was able to get a time slot with them for the very next day. The guy that showed up was polite, courteous and very quickly got to business. First I contacted them and they responded immediately which I was pleased with. When I tried to return their call I was hung up on 3 times. I ended up talking to them solely through text. Their site says $300 so since this was the cheapest I found I went with them. Unfortunately this isnt the price. You get charged over 500 dollars and receive a credit if it's under a ton when picked up. Also they dropped it off at 6am, almost leaving in it front of my garage, blocking my car. It was time to do some much needed home renovation as well as clean out our basement and attic which meant we needed a dumpster. We looked into several companies but found Zoom to be the most professional and cost competitive. We told Zoom exactly what we would be putting in the dumpster and they quoted us accordingly. The dumpster was dropped off on time and without issue...the driver even placed wood under the dumpster in order to avoid damaging our driveway. Once the dumpster was FULL (right to the top) we contact Zoom for a pick up and sure enough the dumpster was gone by 10am. No additional costs or hidden fees....just great service! read more

I found zoom online. On my first phone call I was quoted a great price which included delivery and pick up plus 2 tons of disposal. These guys bent over backwards for me, delivered the same day, dropped the dumpster in the exact spot I needed it and came back the NEXT morning (SATURDAY) to pick it up. The following Monday at 7:30 AM I was sent a receipt from the transfer station confirming the disposal weight and my deposit was refunded to my card immediately. I called on a Saturday morning and within 45 minutes I was delivered a dumpster. The dumpster was a 12 yard/1 ton. I was charged $380, and the website states $300 for the dumpster. The service was prompt, and straight forward. However, after reading other reviews, and checking the website I am disappointed for being charged an increase of $80. read more
