Lucas answered while on an existing job. He was very honest saying he can't drop by to make an assessment. Knowing the importance of the situation, he said he'll have his father drop by to take a look. The father (was it Joe?) came by as promised and saw that the previous roofer didn't put flashing around a portion of the chimney. He gave a couple of possible fixes and I picked the more expensive one. He gave me a break on price if i went with the more expensive fix which i appreciated. Before showing up for the work due to budgeting issues i changed to the lower price solution. He didn't have any problems with this change. He and his other son (not Lucas) came on the day as promised. The funny thing was I didn't know they were there until i heard banging outside! They ripped some of the old roof tiles, installed new flashing and overlay them with some leftover tiles I had laying around. They also caulked around other parts of the chimney. They cleaned up their mess. There were aome storms afterwards and no leak! Thx to Lucas for knowing the importance of the problem and having your father and brother fit me into their schedule. And thx to father and son (was it Joe and Ezekiel?!) for fixing the leak! I would definitely consider them to put in a new roof when the time comes!

I had at least two leaks in my roof that was going through my upstairs ceiling. Gines was quick to…read morestop by and take a video detailing the issue and solutions to the problem. He was patient as I received quotes from others, but Gines provided the best value compared to the rest. He was even able to expedite our start date due to the leaks getting worse each time it rained. The workers were courteous and professional and cleaned up the debris well. The work was done quickly and efficiently. Gines provided pictures of all the work and maintained communication throughout the process. I'll be keeping him in mind for future projects. Pictures of the roofing process, chimney cap / step flashing, etc. attached. Note that it wasn't rained yet so don't know if the leaks have officially stopped, but if there is no edit on this post you can assume everything is good.

I've been a customer of Wilber's for several years. Up till now I've always found them to be…read morereasonable in price, professional, reliable and trustworthy. I don't know what's happened but, they are no longer the company they used to be. I recently hired Wilbers to repair a loose newel post at the bottom of my stairs. When Danny the estimator came he explained that it might be an easy fix or more involved if they needed to install a new 4X4 interior post. Though I requested that he provide estimates for both scenarios he only sent the estimate for the worst case scenario. I let that go because I trusted that they would do the right thing should it prove to be an easy fix. When they arrived it turned out that all that was needed was to replace the wooden board in the basement with a 2 ft. 2x4 and tighten the bolt that runs inside the post. The workers were here for 1 hour and for this Wilber's decided that a fair price was $820. It seemed absolutely outrageous to me that they would charge me $820 to tighten a bolt so I tried reaching out to Wilber 3 times and asked that he call me back to discuss. Well he never called me back. I can only assume that he knows full well that he did is wrong and is unable to justify his outrageous pricing. It's sad that Wilber thinks this is how you should treat a loyal customer and it's certainly disappointing to discover what an unprofessional and unethical person he is. I certainly will never utilize the services of Wilbers ever again and I would caution anyone thinking of hiring them to think twice. Wilber is a man that lacks integrity and therefore someone you cannot trust to do business with.
