UPDATE FROM MY PREVIOUS 1-STAR REVIEW... after my previous review, I received a call from the VP of Operations(Mike) immediately. He apologized for the mishap and explained that this happened because of a scheduling mistake. And, as a business owner myself, this seems like an understandable error. So based on that, I decided to reschedule for an appointment this morning(10am). Mike came out himself to quote me. He was extremely prompt, courteous, and, to make up for the previous error, his price was very reasonable. So, based on my new experience(and great price) with them, I've decided to purchase termite services with Zone. My install will happen early May, and I will complete my review after all services are complete. But so far, I am impressed. read more

Zone just came out to service my home. The company is fast friendly and professional. Unlike most pest control companies, Zone does not require a one year contract. I also like the fact that they guarantee their work for 90 days. I hope I never see another bug in my house ever again but if I do, I will contact Zone. read more

The reviews don't lie. A friend actually recommended Zone and I confirmed the decision to call them after seeing these rave reviews. A couple of weeks ago, I heard a faint noise coming from my fireplace. Upon closer inspection, I saw a wasp, just hanging out behind the glass (I have an enclosed fireplace). I decided to leave it alone for the time being since I knew it couldn't get into the house. A few days later, I saw the wasp had a buddy. That's it, they were outta there! I called up Zone for a free consultation. The day of the appointment, Todd called me about a half hour after he was supposed to show, explaining that he'd been caught up at the previous job site. I appreciated the call. He said he was on his way and would be there in another half hour. When he arrived, I showed him the problem. He wasn't sure how to open the glass at first, so he examined my roof visually from the outside, brought out a ladder to look down the chimney and also checked out my attic. Then he asked to see the fireplace again and it was then he figured out how to open up the fireplace (and showed me how to do it in the process). We killed the one last dying wasp that was left. He removed about 8 dead wasps from the bottom of my fireplace. He assured me there wasn't really anything I needed to do, as the wasps would be dying off from the cold/hunger anyway, and if I did see any more I could just turn on the fireplace and smoke them out. He was also kind enough to remove a couple of inactive wasp nests outside my house, free of charge. One of them was hanging from the roof, too! Really happy with Todd's visit. Zone did an amazing job installing a brand new Hvac system in our home! After comparing Many quotes, theirs came in very competitive in pricing, and detailed. They were able to put us on the schedule soon where other companies had us waiting for too long. The guys arrived when they said and did the whole project very fast, and cleaned up by they time I got down to see how it was going. I would highly recommend these guys! Bobby is the man! We started having issues with german roaches coming from an abandoned house next door and gave Bobby a call. He has taken the extra time to go above and beyond to make sure they have gotten taken care of in every crevice. We have used Zone Home for several years for quarterly pest control as well and have never had any issues. We recently started using them for Misquito tratement and have been thoroughly impressed! AC went out the evening of July 3rd. While the Zone team wasn't able to come out (backlog and the holiday), Albert coached me on how to do a bit of troubleshooting and maintenance on my own. Darrell Bryant did an excellent, professional job and was very thorough in his analysis/recommendations. We had mold growing in a rental property and was worried about leaks or other large issues and the health of our tenants. I called Zone over the weekend and Ben returned my call that same weekend and had his guy, Trey, reach out to us on Sunday evening. We had an appointment for regular home pest treatment for Tuesday morning. Trey was here a few minutes early this morning and walked us through the process, things to look for, and what to expect. I got a text that Steve would be the technician. He arrived on time and was very professional and friendly. He explained the issues so that I understood what was going on. It was evident that we needed a new furnace. Later that evening , Jason came out to go over our purchase options and explained everything very thoroughly. He was professional and super nice. I have been using Zone for pest control almost 5 years now. The service is great and consistent. The same tech, James, has been coming to my house from the beginning, which I really appreciate, because I didn't want multiple people in and out of my home. James is always pleasant and professional. Since he comes out every 3 months he calls the day before our appointment to remind me, confirm, or reschedule. The products he use keep the bugs away but if I do see anything before my next appointment then I can call James to come out earlier. Terrible service. Got the pest control treatment done the first time. Didn't see any results and called them since they have another free treatment if there are no results. However the person refused to come. And then when I asked for another paid treatment they said that it would not be possible to service the house anymore. After many years of being on the termite warranty with Zone, as recommended over 10 yrs ago by a co-worker, I had informed them from past experience with another company that I wanted to be at my house at the time of the inspection. I have had a few various workers come to the house, but with one steady employee, Ben, who has always been very nice and informative but.... Several occasions when we set up specific time to meet at my home during my lunch hour or such, he had already stated he "already checked and inspected under and around my house" and waiting for me to sign the form that he went under my crawl space & did the termite inspection. Well, several weeks ago it was arranged to meet at 12:45 pm, I arrived and he was in his truck waiting. He stated he already inspected and all was fine. That evening I happened to go over my home cameras and see that he never changed in to coveralls he usually does when I have been there. Camera shows him in his clean Khaki slacks and polo shirt going around the back of my house with paper in hand. Within four minutes of that time/film I arrived and, as stated, he was already in his truck. There is NO way one can go under my house, with AC unit under there in the middle, and NOT get dirty/dusty, which he was not. I know because as a 63 yr old female I go under there every 3 mo's or so to change the air filter! And I'm expected to pay over one hundred dollars yearly for this?? I reached out to the company, Ben did call and leave me a voice mail with his excuses. No offense to Ben or any worker, but when one pays for services, please provide accurate work. I am just so disgusted, and as my neighbor tried to warn me what a rip off this termite warranty is, now I agree! read more

Justin came by today for our quarterly treatment and is very knowledgable about his profession, besides being a very personable guy. He explained the type of bugs and their behaviors to me after showing him a few dead ones that I had yet to pick up. His treatment of the outside perimeter was great! I've never seen such a thorough treatment on my house. Finally, their treatment worked so well the first time that we really didn't start seeing a few bugs until our quarterly treatment time was due. It's nice to use a company that does great work that you will know lasts! I would hate spending my time having to call for a re-treatment, but with Zone this isn't even a question in my mind. Man, am I glad I called! I spoke with 2 individuals (I forget the first guy) and a man named Darrell. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Terrible customer service and an incredibly dishonest manager named Jason. The only reason that we used this company is because they did the original install of our unit a little over a year ago under the previous owner of our home. The only way to get the warranty for the unit was to sign up for their maintenance plan. We were told that the window for arrival for our normal winter maintenance would be two hours, which was fine, but on the day of our service we had zero contact from the technician with less than 30 minutes left in the window. I called in to the office and was told that the technician would call me. The technician eventually called and advised that he had been sent to Flowery Branch to assist other technicians on an install. He advised that he was over an hour away, and we could reschedule or he could leave right away to handle our service. He seemed like he had no idea that we were even scheduled. I advised him that today was the best day for me because I had taken time off for the holidays. We were taking a day trip today and were waiting around just so this maintenance could be completed. After speaking with the tech, I called in to the office to inquire as to why the technician had been sent on another dispatch when we had an 8 to 10am window for our service. Jason answered the phone. He sounded like he had been sleeping and was completely uninterested in being helpful. When I advised that we had been told multiple times that we had an 8-10am window, he advised that they only do four hour windows now. That didn't make any sense because we were told multiple times that they only do two hour windows. He said "I don't know what to tell you, he's running late and can be there between 10 and 11am." How can he be late if suddenly they only do four hour windows? I immediately asked to speak with a manager and he advised that he was the manager. I advised that it was not acceptable to be told that we have a two hour window for arrival and that now he was telling us that they only do four hour windows. He repeated that he didn't know what to tell me. I told him to cancel the dispatch and that we were done with this company. read more

This whole team and process were great. Keith consulted and wrote up a bid that was both competitive and professional. We replaced our main AC unit so it was no small investment and they backed up their commitments with a great install and then Keith personally inspected to ensure it was all good. They turned this around at least a week more quickly than anyone else was willing to commit to. To get us up and running so fast was a big relief to us...best experience we have had since moving to Atlanta with a home service provider and will use them for our future needs. This is by the far the best repair company that we have ever used. Organized, polite, honest, clean, professional to say the least. Was recommended to use them from a friend when we were having issues with one of our units. They were out in no time. We got a new unit which has been excellent and they installed brand new Ecobee thermostats throughout our home. They mentioned being able to diagnose issues remotely. This morning my wife came downstairs and said it's chilly in here. A few hours later I received a call from their office saying they got a notification that the emergency heat had been running for a few hours, which should not have been happening since it was was not that cold out. I must note that this is on one of the existing older units. They asked if we would like someone out since we are expecting a storm tomorrow. They squeezed us in and the tech, Mack, who came out for our very first service, was out and able to do the maintenance explaining that he would probably be able to buy us a few more years before having to replace the unit. These guys are the real deal and would highly recommend them! read more

First time caller to Zone. AC was not cooling. Called Zone at 8:30 a.m. Was promised a response between 1 pm & 5pm. Tech arrived at 11:45 a.m. The issue was quickly diagnosed as a faulty capacitor. A replacement was installed and the unit began cooling. I signed up with Zone for annual service at $180/yr. The tech cleaned the unit. He also explained the role of the capacitor and why it had to be replaced. The cost of repair was reasonable. I was very satisfied with the response, communication from both office and tech, expertise of the tech, and cost of repair. I highly recommend Zone. Also, I found them on Trust Dale. read more

Although I decided not to get services through Zone Home Solutions, I have to leave a great review because when I called several HVAC places, they all gave me the runaround for quotes but not Zone Home Solution. A special shout out goes to Matt who I talked with. I called and told the lady I needed a quote and she transferred me to Matt. He was so helpful. I have learned so much about AC units and refrigerants in 20 minutes than in the last 20 years. Not only was Matt very informative and knowledgeable, he never rushed or tried to persuade me to get their service. He gave me price ranges and what to expect. Never did I feel cheated. The only reason why I didn't contact Matt back is because my husband checked out our AC unit to find out, we didn't need a refrigerant refilled instead we need a new fan motor! If I could give a score of zero stars, I would. Their service was fine, yes. It did the job. But the experience leading up to the actual service and since then have been pathetic and irritating. I'm a long distance landlord, so I had to coordinate the visit with Zone and my tenants. It took THREE long phone calls to explain that, after determining the problem, I needed to be called to approve the cost of the service before it was performed. No call was made, and service was performed. I called the company the next day to find out what happened, and had a FOURTH and very annoying conversation explaining why this was necessary. But fine, the service cost was within my budget and it corrected the problem. Due to the fact that I do not live in ATL, I had to pay for the services via phone. I paid that day with a credit card and promptly received a receipt via email. Done deal, right? Wrong. 5 months later, I receive a very aggressive phone call from a collection agency demanding that I pay my outstanding bill with Zone NOW. Not only did they somehow lose the record of my payment, they had been sending follow up invoices to the wrong address. Give me a break! In short, their services were fine. But this is not an organized company, and dealing with them is a nightmare. If you use them, be sure to hold on to your receipt, so you can prove payment to the collection agency! read more

Yelp reviews work. Michael called me the same day after I posted my initial review. Wayne, the new wildlife manager, came out with an assistant to complete the crawlspace doors, which look great. They later sent someone out to seal up the roof and remove the squirrel trap. Michael called to make sure the job was completed and I had to ask him to send someone back out to disinfect the attic, which he did a few days later. The whole job was finished within 2 weeks after I posted the yelp review. After each repair, each manager and laborer I spoke with apologized profusely for the original poor service, repeatedly asked if I was satisfied, and then asked me to update my yelp review. I would give Zone 5 stars for the end results but only 3 stars because of the time and aggravation required to complete the job. read more

We recently had Zone come out to do our termite treatment. Once the job was complete, I asked if he could check our attic - I had a suspicion there were squirrels. Sure enough - there was! Chris was super helpful and happy to provide the options and explain everything to us. Everyone at Zone has been super helpful in explaining every step, providing multiple options and following up with us! We're terrible at remembering to call back so we really appreciate that they call us to remind us about any services we need. Plus, the fact that they offer multiple options helps with our budget. We haven't felt like they were trying to take advantage of us or scare us into getting an unnecessary service. We're so happy with them we're going to get an estimate on their renovation services. read more

What a wonderful company! From my very first phone call to inquire about a quote- the representative was so polite. Jason was the one that came out to check out what I needed. He was thorough in reviewing my problem (cold house with zero insulation), he was patient and answered all of my questions, I didn't feel rushed at all! He gave me all of my options and walked me through them. I finally decided to install the mini split for my guest house and the crew that came out to do the installation were great! They cleaned up after themselves and left my place in tip top shape. Two weeks after the work was done- they called me for another appointment to do a quality check and to review the new system with me( this is what made me the most impressed with this company!). I just bought my house- so I've gotten a lot of work done and hired a lot of different companies and NO OTHER COMPANY after finishing the job- wanted to come back on their own to check in on the completed job.
