So he quoted me $185 to do the job and we agreed. But, he only has to do 4/6 locks to complete the job. He completed the job in about 15 minutes and all locks worked to one key. We already had the key and it worked. Two of the door handles were loose and I asked him to tighten them. He had no tools so he could not do it. WOW, I thought! Time to pay the bill. Without me realizing it he still charged me for 6 locks when I should have been charged for 4 locks. He said it came out to $215 with taxes and fees. 'What" I said? No taxes on labor, I said and "What fees". "6% credit card fee" he said. "No" I said, only 3% fee should be applied. We got the manger Leo on the phone and I questioned him about the 6% fee. He got very rude and disrespectful with me. I ended up hanging the phone up on him. I can't believe Leo is in management the way he deals with customers. There's more but I'll spare you the details. Bottom line, If you use AR Locksmith be carful. I don't recommend this company.

Almost 20 years ago, I bought an old Jeep that had a glove box lock, but no key. Luckily, it was in…read morethe unlocked position, so I was able to use the glove box. A couple of years later, I removed the lock and took it to 3 different locksmiths in an effort to have a key made. Each one fiddled with it, but eventually gave up and none had a replacement lock. Then, fast forward 15 years later, I decided to try again. I took the lock into Lockology and the gentleman told me to leave it with them. The next day I was amazed to get a phone call that it was ready! I went to pick it up and found that the new key worked fine, but the mechanism was really stiff to open and close. The gentleman immediately addressed the issue and a few minutes later, the lock was working perfectly! Final charge was $18 with 2 working keys! Lockology definitely has my future business!

I needed my rental property rekeyed and made an appointment with West Valley Lock and Key. The tech was a little late but the company was very responsive when I called to find out when he would arrive and I was told he was wrapping up another job. He called me immediately after to give me his ETA and was very apologetic for being late. No biggie, like I said, most locksmiths I've used have been a lot less accommodating for appointment windows and on top of that, this place is much more affordable. Their trip charge was significantly lower than other quotes I got and the other fees were very reasonable as well. The tech was very professional when he arrived and super quick! They offer a discount for return customers as well. I need a locksmith at least once a year and this will now be my company of choice!
