Went yesterday to have a CT scan and an aneurysm ultrasound. I paid a 225$ copay for the CT scan…read more They did the ultrasound first then took me to the room for the scan. After waiting a few minutes the operator and another employee came in saying that BCBS Medicare insurance wasn't going to approve the scan for today. I would have to reschedule. What about my copay? The woman said they could hold it until the rescheduled date or they would refund it. I got angry and frustrated with this situation and blew up at the young woman. I am very sorry that I did that to her and I'm not happy with my conduct toward her. I simply didn't tell her this is the 3rd time in the last month I've been rescheduled. I want the scan done in a timely way. The last scan 7 months ago revealed a mass and my doctor ordered the scans to be done every 6 months. We're behind. I took the young lady's advice and rescheduled for November 5. I didn't ask for the copay refund. The young lady offered to handle the reschedule but in my anger I wouldn't let her. I called Chattanooga imaging after I cooled down. Patient's need to have patience.

The sciatica pain I tolerated for over 15 years was totally taking over my entire life. I could stand nor walk without severe pain. I came to see Dr. Jolley. He took the time to explain to me what he could do to eradicate my condition and help alleviate the pain. I understood what had to be done, and agreed to the procedure. As soon as I was awake, I already noticed that the sciatic pain was gone, even though I was in pain from surgery. After 4 hours, I was sitting up. After 6 hours I was standing and walking. After 1 week, I was able to walk up to 1/4 mile, and after 2 weeks, I was up to a mile. NO Sciatic pain! About 3.5 months after surgery I was climbing a rock wall, and doing other activities that I wasn't able to do for many years. Dr. Jolley has a wonderful demeanor and bedside manner. I felt he really cared and his true desire was to help me. I was able to go hiking again, and go on two mission trips, no to mention...keep up with my grandchildren.

I have been suffering from pain in my foot for a very long time. It would take me several minutes…read morebefore I could walk across the room after I got up from a rested position. It doesn't help that I weigh more so much my scale just tells me ERR every time I step on it. It took me damaging my big toe from a heavy object to finally go see a podiatrist. The nail had to be removed, and I was absolutely hesitant to make that trip since it took me several months to complain about it. My primary doctor insisted that was the best solution, so he contacted Dr. Wamack's office to setup an appointment. The staff at this facility is beyond amazing. I received a call the week before my scheduled visit as a reminder. During the call, they gave me directions to fill out paperwork that was on their website, as well as advised me to what items I needed to have prepared prior to my arrival. This information was perfect, and led to an enjoyable process once I arrived. I handed in my paperwork, insurance card, and ID. Then all I had to do was wait... in agony of what I felt my pain would be for this process. Immediately upon meeting Lisa, there was a calming sense of a "been there done that" professionalism about her. As she told me what she was going to do, she did it. I really felt no pain at all. I was absolutely amazed! My toe problem that plagued me for the last few months was completely gone! It was just gone! That led me to talk to her about my pain in my foot, which she immediately diagnosed as plantar fasciitis when I writhed in pain upon her examining my foot. She suggested a cortisone shot where the pain was to reduce the inflammation. I went for it. Before I could wince, it was over! How did she make that happen?! She gave me some arch supports, a strange looking sock, and some exercises to do to keep my problem from recurring. Today, I woke up with no desire to yell at my kids, even though none of them woke up on time which led us to a familiar result of tardiness. I just didn't care. I was able to get out of bed and walk with absolutely no pain! Why did I put off this treatment for so long?! I feel both like an idiot and blessed all at the same time. In summary, Dr. Lisa Wamack is one of the best doctors I have ever met. I walked to work today, I plan to walk at lunch, and later this afternoon! With any luck and perseverance, maybe I won't need a CDL to operate my body on the roads anymore.
