If you press 0 to speak to their operator, as instructed by their prompt, it says it's unrecognized and hangs up on you. I have been trying to call for months. If I can't call and ask questions etc, I'm not inclined to donate. I'm not wasting my time and gas, like I did the first time by showing up, only to be met with a sign on their desk stating "no new doners today."

Also I've called many many times and only once was I ever able to get someone to answer the phone. Plus just be aware that if you ever have a doctor's order to give blood, that's not enough. You must obtain a form from LifeSouth and have your doctor fax it to their home office. Then it'll take at least 2-3 business days to process but forget trying to call to verify if it's been processed because nobody ever answers the phone. Most likely you'll just waste time going in. Terrible operation in my opinion.

Made appointment to donate blood today in Nashville. Being new to the area. I arrived at the…read moremobile and went inside. While there I observed that the 4 donors were NOT wearing masks. The workers were masked. I told the employee that I did not feel comfortable being in such tight quarters with people NOT wearing masks. He stated that it is not their policy to enforce a mask to be worn. I left. How can people be so ignorant?
