The front is very friendly and prompt. I would recommend bringing a paper from your doctor if you…read moretake medications just so you don't have to worry about any hiccups. Mostly clean. There was blood on the floor in the ladies room. I only went to this place one time and decided not to go back. My veins are in too deep. My good arm is my left arm and she was only able to make it in far enough to get a vial of blood for the test and then went to break. I've donated plasma about four times previous to this prior and it was a breeze. Three times in my left and once in my right. I wanted to try this place because it is closer to where I live so I thought why not give it a shot. Nah.... It wasn't working and the other girl was trying to adjust it and she tried pulling it out a little bit and still wouldn't work so she returned my whole blood. Infiltrated in my good arm. So the other phlebotomist asks me if I mind being stuck again in my right arm. Nah I don't mind. That arm is even deeper. Nah all she did was stick me. And I'm like so what you think could be the problem? She says....Maybe not hydrated enough? Maybe a bad vein?.... I'm like.... Maybe a bad stick?.... She says... her girl is one of their best phlebotomists. I have to tell her I drink at least 8 cups of water a day and at the other place I have successful donations and I'm done in 35-40 minutes and I have donated with both arms. I mean I get it. I'm a difficult sticker. I have fat arms. My veins are deeeeeeep. We ain't gonna work out. But the donor next to me ain't got fat arms and the girl is tapping her needle. Tap tap tap tap.... ‍ tap tap tap tap.... like is that a thing? I haven't been donating very long.... That's probably gonna cause bruising. I know my arm left a nasty bruise. Infiltration is when the needle slips out of the vein and just pours blood into the surrounding area. Like wow. My arm looks like a balloon. Is that gonna bruise? It might. I'm gonna go back to the other place. It's worth the extra miles.
