Absolutely the worst plasma donation center--disorganized, incompetent, and discriminatory. If I could give CSL Plasma Murfreesboro zero stars, I would. This place is an absolute joke. The staff is completely untrained, unprofessional, and clearly plays favorites when it comes to who they allow to donate. First off, they have no idea how to properly insert a needle. Almost every time I've donated, they've left massive bruises on my arm, and then they have the audacity to defer you if you come back with the same bruises they caused. It's ridiculous. Their plasma machines look like they belong in a museum, and the whole place runs like it's being managed by people who have no clue what they're doing. But the real issue? They are discriminatory and retaliatory. I was permanently deferred under completely false pretenses. They claimed I "didn't disclose" that I was in a relationship with another man--even though I disclosed this over a year ago during my first visit. When I went in to ask why I was permanently deferred, the staff literally refused to say the word 'gay.' The woman I spoke to awkwardly danced around it like it was a bad word, and when I called her out on it, she immediately got defensive and told me to leave. Let's be real--this place does not care about donors at all. If you ever complain about their incompetence or make it known that you're not okay with how they treat people, they will find an excuse to permanently ban you. I've only been able to donate once because every other time, I've either been deferred for no reason or turned away because they don't know how to do their jobs properly. Oh, and let's not forget the fact that they don't even have Band-Aids half the time. You just donated plasma, and instead of providing basic medical care, they hand you a cotton ball and expect you to hold it there yourself. How does a medical facility not have Band-Aids? If you value your time, your health, and your dignity, go to BioLife Plasma instead. CSL Plasma Murfreesboro is a disgrace, and the fact that they are still open is baffling. It's a very slow moving process. I did wait for a while when I got there, but I was treated with respect. I will say, I felt very rushed through the process when I was finally able to begin my screening. I was there from 1:30-4pm or 5pm. so if you go to donate for the first time, be prepared to wait for a while. read more

I've donated with CSL plasma for couple years. There has been no increase of payments to donors or employees. The company makes up too $5000.00 per bottle. Only way to advocate for hike in prices is to stop going. First time weekly donation 45.00 second week donation 50.00 that's for each bottle depending on buyer 300% Mark up or better. One must ask themselves, so why am I making donations to save others lives and meantime hurting my health. There is major loss of weight by donating and sometimes other medical conditions. I also not only give away my plasma for pennies the patient who needs plasma is billing out 100s of dollars. The lines have got ridiculously long wait periods making pennies for three hours donation. It's totally about profit and CSL and others alike will not continue to be in business loosing customers or donors start spending up for themselves and refusing give a donation. 16 people behind only 4 in the beds. 2-3 hours easily. this is not the employees fault, one phlebotomist taking the entire brunt. Nurse on duty came to help as well. She wouldn't "hire" me as a donor because I take too many medications. First she wanted me to take the paper to my doctor to have my doctor say why I am taking them and I tell her I am telling you why I am taking them if you would just listen. Literally called their doctor and then advised me to stop taking my medication and take their paper to my doctor to have my doctor explain to them why I stopped taking my medication so that I could donate plasma. My medication is not on the med list no. I take 6 medications prescribed by a Psychiatrist 1 of those is a vitamin another 1 of those I barely take. That leaves 4. So now I wanna know how many of your donors donate who take 4 medications or more because I am being discriminated against for not having a job and having a mental disability. I live an hour away. "The rest of us have jobs." (I ain't running back and forth for you while you "teach me a lesson" about using plasma donation as a source of income.) You gotta play fetch first. Your job is to stroke their egos. Aw you donors have to get through them to get that money and don't upset them. Not unless you want to get hurt. I won't donate there. It's like asking the waitress to spit in your food. Restrooms doors had no locks on them and there was no soap in the dispensers only hand sanitizer at the front desk. Exam room smelled like manure. HOLD YOUR NOSE! No sh*t I didn't get to donate. I have never donated blood or plasma before. I walked out of there. Never going back. Nope. I am going to a different place. Those people are FIRED. This place is a joke. Staff on the are more interested in the work politics then processing new client's. Ask you if you have two and a half to three hours to spend, but expect to be their for at least 6. This place is the biggest joke on the planet. Was doing this as an extra form of income but based on all the factors, this does not even make money, you lose money, you feel less than ignored as they look at you as they carry on their personal conversations, and continue to handle everybody else. Clean and professional plasma donation. It did take awhile for my 1st timet paperwork to get entered and I felt like I was going to pass out at the end, probably because it was 3-4 hours from the time I ate until they started to draw blood. If the paperwork process could be sped up I'm sure less people would feel like that. Wow. Such "professional" & "hardworking" employees. They barely do their job. They hate what they do, so they just stand around & be lazy. We've had to wait for like 50 mins, just to have someone help us while this Woman just stands there the entire time to not do a single thing while there was a big line. I don't donate, but a friend of mine does. She took this photo & showed it to me. But this isn't the first time. This happens pretty frequently, & it's ridiculous. Probably the worst experience of being here. Why does it take like 3-4 hours to get done donating? It's so unnecessary. Maybe the service and employees wouldn't be bad if it was actually professional. Standing around to talk and socialize isn't a part of your job. I never knew so many people have experienced this same problem but apparently they have. I'm glad I'm not the only one. Some of us don't have time to just sit somewhere for that long. We have other things to do. We're adults. The customer service here is just terrible. Not to mention that they came off pretty disrespectful with me and that's ridiculous. I should be the one getting irritated from standing in line all day. It's funny how they tell us that they give great service and experience when they don't. I'm not sure what to say about the others who've experienced this, but I'd just watch out for this place. Have been coming here over a year, never a single problem. But today they were slammed, girl who checked my blood didn't run the centrifuge long enough, said my iron was too low. I traveled 45 minutes, stood in line over an hour, all to be turned away for a problem I've never had before. So I just lost $65 due to laziness and ineptitude. Won't be back. read more
