I receive a written report of our discussion and any plans going forward so I don't leave feeling like I need a medical dictionary. Brittany is amazing also. She is always friendly and can get my blood draw done with one stick. I love having a doctor who can address all my concerns and doesn't have me waiting for hours for a 15 minute check over. I always feel like my concerns are addressed and I'm confident in what we are doing as a team. I found the previous review to be the exact opposite of my interactions with Mendy Hicks N.P she has listened to all of my complaints, made referrals where appropriate. My only complaint is that I would like to meet the supervising physician just to get the opportunity to see the person that is ultimately responsible for my medical care.

Many walk in clinics have wonderful nurses but the turnover in their employees is continual-which hinders good service. We were referred to Dr. Hopkins and his staff and it was just what we needed. They are located right off the square downtown Murfreesboro in an older but very neat building. Our family has seen Dr. Hopkins on occasion and also his PA's and nurses-they are all very thorough, professional and kind. They have either always taken care of us or referred us on to a specialist when our case warranted. The front office staff are polite and always ready to answer questions. When our private insurance was cancelled by BCBS and like thousands had to scramble for health insurance- we made sure our new coverage was a policy that Dr. Hopkin's practice accepted. I found another GP who referred me immediately to a cardiologist, who after testing sent me by ambulance to have a quadruple bypass. My arteries were blocked, 70 to 95 percent. They are knowledgeable, don't talk down to you but explain things in layman's terms, and most importantly, know their limitations and when to get the good doctor for advice and help. He shares an office with Dr. Eller, who I haven't met. One highlight: I needed to see him the same day I called and they were able to squeeze me in before they closed. I actually think they stayed open a few minutes longer than the posted time for me! If there was anything I can pick on, it is the waiting room. It is smallish when there are a lot of sick people around. Otherwise, it is a good-sized room. I would estimate over 30 seats, a bit close together.
