Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I spoke with Laci-if she told me her real name-she worked 10:30pm 11/15/25. I was very respectful on the phone asking for a parking permit and she immediately was short with me and cut me off any time I tried speaking. I didn't get a single word in. She left me no options and hung up on me mid sentence. It turns out she made a mistake and did have everything she needed--she didn't even check her email. She proceeded to hang up on me again mid sentence. She didn't do her job and was completely rude for no reason. read more

Used to live in one of the apartment complexes using this company, parked in a 6 hour parking around 1:15am (I get off work 12am)... planned on moving it in the morning 5am but it wasn't there. Called and they said if I could prove i worked until 12 I could come get my car, they lied to me and made me pay for my car that they illegally towed. Zips has tried to tow both my boyfriend and my car. They have left warnings for expired plates. We both have current registration my stickers have just fallen off or been stolen. They towed my truck without notice. When I made contact everyone I talked to refused to give a reason for the tow. Overall, I attempted to contact them multiple times and was consistently sent to voicemail. It took multiple friends calling to get ahold of anyone and they REFUSED to give anyone any information without first providing payment information for an exorbitant $410 . Stay away. Additionally, they damaged my vehicle by somehow cracking the windshield. read more

I understand they have a job to do. However, when attempting to pick up a vehicle, I had to wait 45 minutes for someone to show up to the office in the middle of the day. Two "employees" came in and out wouldn't help me, and they were dressed as if they just climbed out of a dumpster. There is nobody in the office during business hours. They charge an extraordinary fee to release a vehicle, then can't be bothered to actually get your vehicle in an even remotely timely manner . This place can hardly classify itself as a business. It needs to be shut down or maybe find an owner that knows anything about running a business/costumer service. read more

My son has a parking permit for his unit and with the heat it fell onto his seat from his window. Zips towed his car away in the night and after showing them he had the permit in the car, they cut him a "deal" of $220! They are criminal in how they do business! After wrongfully towing a disabled veterans vehicle and dodging our calls to get it back we were finally able to retrieve our vehicle from impound. Unfortunately we were forced to reach out again due to a crack on the windshield that was not present before the wrongful tow of our vehicle. After our calls going ignored about the damages, we disputed our credit card charge for the impound. This morning we woke up to a boot on our vehicle. This is clearly retaliation and predatory. Through my insurance requested roadside service for my pickup that failed to start. Suspected a depleted battery. Jacob called me to let me know he was on the way. Arrived at predicted time. Attempted a jump but still did not start. Called my preferred maint shop. In the meantime Jacob contacted insurance and changed to a tow. He expertly hooked up and loaded the vehicle. Dropped me off close to my house. Had left my reading glasses in the tow truck. Contacted Jacob and he ensured to leave them in the truck. All in all Jacob was timely, professional and courteous. I worked for zips and I can tell you personally they are all crooks. I even interviewed with KUTV news journalists who reached out to me to build a story on how corrupt and untrustworthy they are. Honestly surprised nobody has brought harm to them already. They split into 2 different companies. The one still going by zips is the better half of the company and respectable. The other owner David Peterson is garbage and to hide he changed his half of the business name to Rincon towing. I got my own jeep towed by Rincon after leaving zips. Once inside the tow truck the driver receives a call from Dave Peterson the owner of Rincon. He's saying he wanted the driver to damage my jeep on purpose and not to let me in the tow truck. They didn't know I could hear the conversation and the driver laughed and said what do you want me to do? He's already in the truck and the boss yells in anger and said F it just take him to his destination I guess. PUT RINCON OUT OF BUSINESS. read more

My car is registered in Pennsylvania and so we have different laws regarding registration tags. Instead of looking up this information and figuring out how it works. They decide to plant a sticker on my car stating my registration has expired. Also, they can easily find out if a car is registered or not by just going online. It's incredibly lazy and not only that my car was still there even after the time they said they were gonna come get it on the sticker. I get their job is to tow cars that aren't street legal or aren't meeting some requirements but this is just a lazy and frankly frustrating. You have all the information at your disposal. You just refuse not to use it.. and if they did actually tow my car, imagine how annoying that would've been, for all intents and purposes they may have been on their way to tow my car if I didn't move my car to a friend's until I got ahold of them. Now I have to leave my registration paper on the dash because they're too lazy to look up my license plate number and find out that I'm registered. read more

After our tire blew out and we got stranded alongside I-15, we realized we didn't have our spare tire on hand, and we were many miles away from home. He was very pleasant and friendly. It took less than 15 minutes to get my car on the trailer and on its way. The driver ensured that I had transportation home. Absolute SCAM! DO NOT GO HERE!!! My friends car broke down on a road trip through St. George and our insurance called the nearest towing company to pick us up. Due to it being on a Sunday, no other shops were open to take us, the driver told us that their mechanics would be able to take a look at it in the morning because "all other mechanics are booked out 2-3 weeks". The next morning we didn't hear anything so we called them at 12:00pm and they said they didn't know what was wrong with it but it could possibly be totaled. and they would call us once it was done. Keep in mind we are trying to travel home. Another hour and a half goes by and we call again. This employee said that they haven't been able to look at it yet. So we decide to drive to the address we were given the day before. Our car was in the parking lot of a storage facility. There is no zips towing to be found until we find a small sticker on a door that was locked. We looked everywhere and did not see anywhere that could possibly be a mechanics shop.
