ZIPS is out here changing the dry cleaning game. All dry cleaning is $2.49 per garment except button down shirts which are $1.99. All garments are ready to be picked up either that same day or the next day (depending on when you dropped off). I just had five items cleaned including two heavy winter coats and it cost less than $12 and was ready to be picked up the following afternoon. I agreed to let them keep my credit card # on file, and they gave me a huge garment bag with my own personal barcode so that I can use their drop box 24/7 with the same pricing and speedy service. I was hesitant to switch dry cleaners but am so glad that I did. ZIPS did a great job with my order, the staff was very professional, the process was quick and easy and my clothes turned out perfect. I have been going to zips at Clearwater aonce it opened. Recent change in ownership and it was so disappointing. I dropped off laundry and they washed the whites with jeans and turned everything blue. The new manager argued that it was not their fault because they do not sort. We have ised their laundry service before and never was their this kind of lack of care for the clothes. She took no responsibility except to keep all the whites that had turned blue for another week to see about re washing. She obviously has no experience with laundry. a wewk later they were returned to me as blue as ever, and she did not even call or apologize or refund any of the charges. I came to zips to get a much needed cleaning for my comforter. When I showed up to pick up the comforter, a sign was posted on the door stating their hours were restricted due to COVID-19. As I walk to my car, one of the employees runs out of the store and tells me to come in pick up my order, even though they were closed! I have been a frequent patron of this cleaners for several months. And prior to this day I have been fully satisfied with their service. In this instance I dropped off clothes on Wednesday afternoon and was told that they would be ready Thursday after five. I return to the cleaners Friday afternoon only to have half of my order ready. I was told the other half of my order would be ready on Saturday. I show up Saturday at noon and was told that the order would be ready Saturday after five. When I show up Saturday after five I am now told that it will be Monday before my order will be ready. The gentleman working the desk was the first employee to communicate that their systems have been down and that they were a day and a half behind. I believe if that was the case this should have been communicated one at drop off or at the latest at the second visit that I made to the establishment. very disappointing service this time. read more

I dropped my son's three piece tuxedo off that I needed for Sunday at about 8 a.m. this morning. I received an email notification at 3:14 p.m. today saying my cleaning was ready. my late Elderly Father was a customer at zips during the last few years of his life, I was his caregiver and was given the awesome responsibility to do his shopping. I noticed that his clothing would go to Zips Cleaners and would never return. unfortunately it wasn't until I took an inventory of his wardrobe when I found out that all of his newly purchased clothing had not been returned after dry cleaning from Zips. I did some investigating of my own and realized they were replacing his clothing with old items to keep with the amount of items brought in and paid for to dry clean whether it was employees or the owners they ripped him off and there was never any compensation for it. I even reported my findings to BBB, then afterwards I received a phone call from someone that told me not to go through with my complaint, I laughed in his ear because what he said was so ridiculous; I threatened to call police if he ever called me again I was called the B-word he literally called me a B; LOL That part is still hilarious; what was he a Christian crook? I was looking for a dry cleaner in Indy that could refresh a few things in my closet. I took two heavy coats to zips to be dry cleaned and the last time my coat was cleaned I was charged 8x as much as zips. My dress coat looks new again, the girl in charge was very conscientious to make sure the belt of the coat wasn't lost when my cost was cleaned. Dropped off clothes today the order was put in incorrectly. And the person that waited on me got in indigent and threat to call the police on me after they messed up. Quick and convenient. I set up a profile with them and saved my credit card info. I received a keychain tag so I can just scan that when dropping off or picking up, makes everything a lot quicker. I tried Zips after my commute changed and needed a dry cleaner that was more convenient. After reading positive reviews I was hoping this would be my new spot. The first couple of trips went pretty well but on my third trip they lost two of my dress shirts. I was told at that time they would have to check their camera to find them. I needed them but know that things happen. I came back three days later and still not found. Came back a week after and was told they had 30 days to locate my lost clothes and that I was "lucky" because other customers clothes were lost for much longer. Long story short I finally got my cleaning two weeks after they were due back. I wanted to like this place but will go out of my way to go somewhere that treats their customers better. read more

I often access them for dry cleaning.... I asked for one dress to be pressed, not cleaned, just pressed. It came out worse than if my kid attempted to iron. Then I filed an online complaint and never heard back from them. Lousily customer service. 12/12 edit, within an hour of this post the owner called (I was at work), within 3 hours emailed (to which I replied as soon as I saw it) and then was texted at 9:30 at night... repeatedly. I would have edited my response once a resolution was reached. Mistakes happen, but now that I was told to edit my response ASAP I refuse to due so due to your aggressive approach.
