    (UPDATE) where did your reply go Abdul? SHADY. you deleted it!? lol seriously...1 year later for a response? oh & hey I received a voicemail from you when you thought you were calling my dad's phone. yes he WAS a customer of yours before. not anymore. I guess you're cold calling past customers looking for work now? Sad. my car is actually in the same shape that you left it a year before. the last mechanic I went to for a quote told me to go to bar.ca.gov to take legal action, but i haven't went through with it. Abdul, If you want to pay to have someone else fix it, i'm all for it. I'm tired of excuses. stop wasting my time.

    My engine light recently turned during MLK weekend, and I suddenly was not able to drive my vehicle above 35 mph. I was completely unaware of the cause of the issue my vehicle was facing and I, at the time, did not suspect any issues with the transmission because I just had that serviced with Zipin staff less than 2 weeks ago (for $170). It was Sunday when I brought my car to Jiffy Lube for inspection. Jiffy Lube was one of the few servicing facilities that were open and near my current location in Lodi, California, where I was stuck for a long period of time. They tried pouring over 4 quarts of transmission fluid into my vehicle, which led to no improvement. They then referred me to PepBoys for further investigation. PepBoys was closing by the time I had brought my car in, and I was instructed to leave my vehicle there overnight in order for the mechanics to look at it first thing in the morning on Monday. They informed me that it was not safe to drive my vehicle anywhere, let alone back to the Bay Area. I had no choice but to stay another night in Lodi to have my vehicle fixed. They then found the seal to be improperly placed by Zipin staff, causing the spring to detach and the transmission fluid to leak entirely. It is evident that this mistake caused by Zipin staff caused further damage to my vehicle, which became significantly more emergent, inconvenient, and expensive to fix. I am incredibly disappointed with the services that were provided to me at Zipin Out Auto Service, for these damages could have been prevented. PepBoys actually encouraged me to take it up to BAR, but I just wanted my refund. When I called to rightfully ask for my refund that Monday, I was talked to in an incredibly rude and presumptuous manner. We argued back and forth for a while until he finally realized that I was asking for a refund for the services that HE provided. He kept insisting from the moment I simply asked for a refund that there was "nothing we can do about it - it's already repaired!" I was confused, and he became harder to understand as he raised his voice at me over the phone. He was somehow under the impression the entire time of our pointless squabble that I was asking for the money that I paid PEPBOYS (over $700, btw), which makes absolutely no sense because I never said nor asked for that. He scoffed at me and called me rude and continued to call me rude when I came to the shop in person to retrieve my refund today...I didn't say anything to him in person to provoke or justify him barking at me over how "rude" I am - really uncalled for and so unprofessional. Customer Service tip: No matter how rude a client may be, you still have to maintain your calm and swallow your pride. I work with high maintenance and difficult patients for a living - I would know. Also, they're horrible with online communication. I had sent the staff an email on Tuesday (the day after our pointless squabble) detailing the damages and attached photos of the leak and all of the bills he asked for. I never got a response. I called later that week, and he told me to come in Monday (today) to get my money back. He admitted to not reading my email and barely opened my email when I came in today for my refund. From the beginning of our 'professional' relationship, he has been condescending towards me, and he incessantly talks over me. I was willing to tolerate this rude behavior if that meant that I would get the cheapest quote possible. I'm all for supporting small businesses, but this faulty service and horrible customer service was ridiculous. Also, if I'm not mistaken, it's against Yelp's policy to ask customers to write five-star reviews on Yelp. He pressured me to do that the first time I brought my car in, which I was willing to do at the time. On the plus side, they can do oil changes and change your windshield wipers. I wouldn't go to them for anything else...or at all for that matter.

    They don't open when advertised...at least not on March 8, 2014.
