I've been coming here for 3/2 years now and I don't regret it. HTP Auto care Inc. always treat me so good. The staff is very nice and polite every time. They do a great job and the prices are very good and fair. The owner is a great guy and he is very honest with the prices. My partner came here a few days ago too and really liked it because they are very transparent with everything. I really recommend this shop. They do a lot of things like: * Vehicle inspection * Engine diag * Tire rotation * 30/60/90k service * Transmission service Good work and good prices. read more

Major turn up may take half a day. The shop opens at 7:30 am and closes at 4:00 pm . Good local small business! read more

Excellent service! Friendly! And great price! We've been bringing our vehicles here for 3 or 4 years now for smog check initially, since the dealerships have referred them to us. I recently also got a brake fluid flush and AC recharge. The service was done efficiently and was fairly priced. They are very friendly and professional here. We will continue to bring our vehicles here for service. read more

HTP Auto Care - Jeep getting brake fluid flush and AC recharge - Auto Repair Near Me - Fremont, California

I was looking to do a very quick oil change in my area, and HTP auto care was the first place that caught my eye. Though on the other side of Fremont, near the industrial area, I was in and out of the auto Care within 20 minutes. The oil change was not a lot, and they were very transparent with how much they charged me on the spot. Normally, auto shops like Jiffy Lube or Midas will charge you $90 to $105 for a premium synthetic oil change, but this one was just as wonderful, and they only charged me $69 for the whole thing (labor included, and they even checked my tire pressure and pumped more if needed). I would definitely give this place a try if you live in or around Fremont -- you will not be disappointed! read more

good service. nice friendly service.been going here for many years. Trustworthy. Will tell you if you don't need certain services.

Always great service. I have been going here for over 20years. The owner is always honest.

The mechanics here do good quality work at a fair price. They replaced my valve cover gasket and changed my fluids.

Reliable mechanics shop I've relied on over 15 years. Recommended for their honesty.

We've been coming here for many years. They are well trusted automotive shop. They are trustworthy and reliable.

My car was blowing hot air for awhile now and has AC issues. I came in for a last minute AC consultation, and they were quickly able to assess I had a broken AC compressor. They didn't charge me for the assessment but only charged me for the labor to replace the compressor, freon, and the new compressor. The next day, they were able to quickly change my compressor, order the part for me and have my AC running again! They are very kind, honest, and reliable! Please go to them for any of your car needs. read more

Thank you to the very kind gentleman that helped me out on Friday. I appreciate you letting me fill up my sport bikes tires!

Walk in appointment for brake fluid and oil change, super friendly and quick service! About $90 for each service, $195 total

I went here the other day for help getting my AC compressor changed after the compressor clutch deteriorated. They were all kind and very helpful. Any questions I had were answered. They replaced the compressor for us and helped us get the Freon added back in. Costed about $1530 whereas another shop quoted us over $6100. I would highly recommend going to HTP Auto Care for your services. Fair, honest, and diligent people here. read more

I have been going here for years. Kevin is the goto guy; honest and upfront about price and expectations. The mechanics at this shop are awesome and efficient. Great location. read more

Back with another review because they took care of me. The head gasket on my Prius needed fixing and I brought it to Kevin. Because Im a returning customer they diagnosed for free and ran a report showing me the problems. I went home and did my research by calling other mechanics in my area and sure enough, Kevins price and approach were fair, which I value since he remembers me and my family who also bring their cars to him. They got my car back to me a day in advance and now its running like brand new. Hard to find a trustworthy mechanic out here these days and Kevin and his brother (family business) is exactly that. read more

I love this place! They service both fleet and personal vehicles. It's true they aren't the cheapest place, but they are when it comes to being honest. Their work is amazing and your car is done in a decent amount of time too. Actually if all you need is an oil change then you only have to wait a few min usually. They preform just about all auto services and never something you don't need! Thanks! read more

I barely drove my Lexus RX350 during the Pandemic and was long overdue for an oil change. Also needed a smog check for the DMV and went here based on the Yelp reviews. Great service! I was in and out quickly and my car ran far smoother afterwards. Overall, 5-star experience and I got everything done as needed, including peace of mind. read more

Went for a Smog Test and they said the computer was down. "Come back tomorrow." So I did (around 3pm on a typical Thurs) and this time the smog test guy went home early. So i cannot recommend this place. At least for Smog testing. read more

Very bad experience with this mechanic shop , replace my breaks pads cost a lot of money and the got breaks for $30 and charge me $180 for the parts plus two hours labor and the old guy unfriendly , I had a flat tire because they had screws in their shop and they wouldn't fix it or replace it I don't like them attitude Be careful this place if you want to spend $180 for $30 parts !!!!!!!!!! read more

8/28/2012 Ok, last month I arrive with my Groupon for a FREE oil change ($24.95 value). I'm then told that I would be charged $15 for shop supplies, disposal fee, tax and I thought I heard was "labor free." I said ok, and asked them to break it down for me. After a few minutes, they were done with my car. Written on the bill: shop supply fee, sales tax, "diposal" fee, labor fee...total $15 (not broken down as I had asked). So I ask again for the breakdown and it came down to this... shop supply $3 sales tax $2 "diposal" fee $3.15 labor fee $6.82 I said "I thought you said...labor free." wtf, I paid $15 and went on my way. On the back of the Groupon coupon by autocaresupersaver.com printed: Please allow for $3.00 shop supply fee+tax on all oil changes. $3.00 per quart over 5 quarts. At one point the lady told me that they didn't approve Groupon and the cost of an oil change is now $29.95 (not $24.95). I would not have minded paying 5 or $6 but 15? so much for being FREE June 2018 Update: Forgot I paid somewhere between $10-20 for groupon (incl. additional future "free" oil changes and other discounted?? services) that was never used (again)...so prob. ended up at 30+ total . I normally change oil myself, only take to a shop when I'm really lazy. read more

As usual this place delivers. This place was Econo Lube, but somehow relocated a hundred feet north of it and now calls itself HTP Auto Care. These guys are great. They are efficient and fast with reasonable prices on their services. Kevin, one of the owners is very knowledgeable and takes great lengths to make sure he got your concerns addressed. Although these guys are not into talking, they supplement it with service you can depend on. :) read more

Affordable prices for routine automotive maintenance. I drove up and was quickly greeted by nice grandma and was seated to fill out my paper to get work done. Before I knew it, I saw my car raised up and getting the tires filled as they changed my oil. It was completed before I could finish checking Facebook! Definitely going back. read more

I'm here to update the gearbox lubricant. They communicated beforehand and asked if they could change the lubricating oil, and they assured me that there was no problem. But when I came here, they didn't know how to open the gearbox nut. Using the wrong tool, they damaged my gearbox nut and made it impossible to open the gearbox. I had to go back to the Acura dealer. Under normal circumstances, I have to spend an extra $200 on a service that I can get for as little as $298. I came back here afterwards to question them, but they didn't admit it. And won't give me any discount. read more

This has got to be the worst place possible to send your car. They completely ruined my vehicles dash, weather strips, and speakers while putting my car back together. There are a number of scratches left behind from sloppily throwing the car together. I took the car into a shop because of problems with heater core. The core itself was fixed but because that part is so deep in car, the whole front dash had to be removed. The wiring was compromised and now my right speaker does not work at all. Molding of car and steering column are not aligned, with gaps everywhere. On top of the issues, they are refusing to take responsibility for the damage they have done. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Beware! read more

Where do I even start. One Star for being courteous I guess, but other than that everything else was a nightmare. They told my wife that there is no leak in the car while there were puddles of oil on my garage floor just overnight. My wife had to take the car back 3 times and every time the guy at the shop cleaned it up and kept repeating there is no leak, just because he didnt disclose it in his "125 point" inspection and $1800 repair he performed 15 days before. Total waste of time that my wife and 6month old baby had to go sit at their shop just for them to not admit the troubles in the car he tried to cover up with "grease on engine bolts" are you kidding me. read more
