Our AC unit finally gave up after 25 years, so it was a challenge to find anybody that could repair or replace our unit. I'm retired, so I've dealt with a variety of home repair specialist in the past, but often enough depend on referrals or reviews online to find a worthwhile person to hire. Zion Custom Air was referred to us by a neighbor. I thoroughly checked their reviews online and called to set-up an appointment. Stephen came out and gave us a quote to replace a bad compressor, however we felt replacing it was a temporary fix at best. He also recommended using that money towards replacing the HVAC system in our home. We decided to go with the latter. I'd give more stars if I could. Honest to God, I am SO happy with this company. Our air conditioner started making a screeching noise last night, so I shut it off, afraid it might destroy the whole unit if I didn't. We called Zion immediately, and I even messaged them on Yelp because I was so desperate. lol the temperatures have been brutal lately. When I woke up this morning, covered in sweat, I checked my email and thank goodness they had answered. They set up an appointment with us for this morning, which was fantastic because it's right before the weekend. I was terrified we'd have to go through the whole weekend with no air. But thankfully, they made time for us. The guys called as promised, and they even showed up early. Both men were so polite and professional. Great people, and they really knew their stuff. They are also reasonably priced. It was our motor that was the problem. Thank goodness they had the motor we needed on the truck. They also checked the whole system and answered questions so nicely. We had a wonderful 5 star experience with Zion air. We recently moved into a new home and was having decreased air movement in two of the rooms causing them to be warmer than the other areas of the house. Another AC company wanted us to buy a whole new unit however, Stephan suggested increasing the vent size and adding 2 additional return ducts which dramatically improved the air flow in those rooms. Stephan came out to install my blower motor for my Lenox heater. He is extremely knowledgeable and pays attention to details . He had to rewire and put in an accessory part to get the blower motor to work since I purchased an aftermarket product. The heater is actually using both cycles which it has never done since it was installed 20 years ago. The main board was having problems as well but so far it is still working . When the main board dies I will have him install that. I highly recommend him. read more

While it worked some of the time, the heater wouldn't always kick on properly and I would wake up most mornings to a freezing house. I tried changing out the thermostat but the issue remained. I recently called Zion to inspect an older inoperable home heating unit. Steven came out at the end of the day as promised and conducted a thorough inspection. He identified a few issues and replaced the air filter during his inspection (there was a spare filter in the attic). With a little tweaking he got the heater working again. Stephen came out on an emergency Saturday call when the furnace stopped working on a very cold day. He quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired it which provided much needed heat. Something was wrong with our Central Air. When we turn on the air conditioner, we hear water dripping . So one of my friends recommended Zion Custom Air. Zion air saved my family today! The air conditioner stopped blowing cold air around 5:00. Of course it was 100° today and I was roasting chicken in the oven (not the best idea haha). Bought a Mr Cool DYI 2400 btu spit unit . Well , i installed it myself , for a bedroom . Being 65 years old and handy , the install was the easy part ! I turned it on and every 3 minutes the condenser would turn off ! So , the company i bought the unit from said to me - hire a air conditioner repairman . I called " Zion Custom Air" and talked to Stephen . Stephen came over to troubleshoot the air . The circuit board was bad ! Stephen said he will call the company to see whats next . Next - a new condenser is being shipped out to my home . When the new condenser was delivered i called Stephen. He came over and installed the new one .
