Great local smashburger & chicken sandwich shop! The chicken sandwich was so crispy and juicy, just thinking about it makes me want it again. The smashburger was also good, and with the side of coleslaw and sauce, they were perfect. Just one complaint I had was that I accidentally tried going when it was busy and the line was too long so I left. But this could be easily avoided if you order online, which is what I ended up doing :) If you end up doing pick up, I highly recommend getting the coleslaw and sauce on the side so you prevent your burgers from being soggy!

Seemed like people come here even though it was pretty late at night. When I brought the food home, the chicken was still very crispy and the fries too. The rub that they use pairs well with the fries and is pretty spicy. They also provide 2 sauces, one garlic and one that I don't know what it is but it's used everywhere. The chicken is juicy and not tough. The chicken is also halal which is cool.

Zingster's is one of those burgers spots where it's so flavorful and delicious that makes you keep coming back! Love their smash burgers, chicken and fries! Flavorful and perfect amount of spice. Haven't tried their waffle fries because it's never available when I try to order it. But I would highly recommend the smash burger -- so good! Will return again, soon!

Burger & chicken sandwich (14.99) biscoff milkshake (7.29)

Zingster's opened recently where Rock n Salsa n Beer once was. New minimalist decor, 10ish tables, same large parking area. Came to experience the Fremont Restaurant Week deal. Quick, efficient service at counters Ordered pd, food came out in 5ish minutes. Offerings: Nashville chicken burgers, smash burgers, rice platters, fries, wraps, milkshakes. Slurps: Bischoff Milkshake (7.29) -disappointed Dubai Chocolate milkshake not available. -Bishoff was way too sweet. Smash cookie not an issue. Bites: smash burger & Chicken burgers (14.99) medium hot sauce. -thin smash burger was the usual with crispy edges. Innards slightly moist, dryish re: tiny patty. -chicken burger was legit. Moist, tender chicken patty. Sauce didn't resonate hotness till later discharges prove discomforting . -breads weren't disappointing. 4ish stars. Worthy: YMMV quality: fresh ingredients used. Quantiy: reasonable.

Smash burger

If you're looking for a Halal place, this is a good option. They have chicken and beef burgers, wraps, bowls, and sides. The chicken burgers come with 5 levels of hotness or no spice at all. I got the mild (level 1) and it was very tame with a bit of heat. My hubby got the hot (level 3), and it was pretty intense, but tolerable (for him). Smash burger - this was ok, but their slaw was too wet and the bun got flat and soggy. The beef tasted quite good, but the bun was tasteless. Zingster chicken burger (zing-1) - this was really big. The chicken was very crispy outside and the meat was juicy. The slaw was very good with the burger, and the sesame seed bun was big enough to contain everything. Although the chicken was crispy, I thought there was just too much batter. That's what made the chicken look so big, but a large part of it is the batter. Fries - very good. Crispy and well seasoned. We got 2 sauces (red and white). The white sauce tastes really good with the fries. Overall, a good burger spot that's a step up from your typical fast food places.

Smash burger, comes in a nice soft bun

Great Halal burger place in Fremont. They've been open since 2025 and are relatively new. Worth checking out since their menu interestingly has burgers, fried chicken, and rice platters. Location is in a small strip mall with McDonald's really close to the 880 Cushing exit. Plenty of parking though the spaces are slightly smaller than normal. The interior design is cool and feels like "classy" fast food. More upscale than other halal burger places and had a nice layout. Ordering was quick and easy and staff were welcoming and polite. Single smashburger: well grill smash burger with plenty of crunchy meaty bits. I liked the really soft bun this came on, reminded me of McDonald's buns in a good way. I normally dot like coleslaw that is too saucy but it was very good in this burger. Would repeat, delicious. Chicken fingers: got these "hot" and they were rightfully spicy. The meat was very tender and the crunchy fried parts were good, I'm not sure how to remedy this but I wish the fried parts stuck to the meat a bit better. The dipping sauce this came with was excellent.

Saw them on TikTok. Excellent review. So kids and I came here. My kids loved loved it. The double smash burger they got was very fresh and meat was really good. Extremely friendly staff, very polite and nice. The place is squeaky clean and cool. They immediately cleaned the tables when people left. I accidentally took soda water and when I asked them to pay, they were like no you are good. Just a friendly behavior was the cherry on the top. This is a Bay Area gem and highly encourage others to come. Last but not least- it is HALAL. Keep the awesome job up!

Loaded Chicken Fries

Stopped by around 3pm on a Saturday for takeout and super busy both inside and outside. The loaded fries weren't really my thing, but the sandwich was tasty and saucy, and the chicken was nice and tender. I preferred the zing sauce over the white sauce.

Another Nashville Chicken restaurant is in Fremont! Not only that they served chicken burgers and sliders, but also smashed burgers too. The restaurant was quiet when I got in and there were only a few customers. They also have a prayer room where people can pray there. Also, the place looks really nice and it seems that the staff are taking good care of it especially when I saw one of them clean the tables. The menu representation looks nice and clear. They have a combo burger which comes with a chicken slider and a single-patty smashed burger. I decided to get that to try both at the same time. It's $18.99, which isn't really bad and the same price as Zing 2, which is the same except that it's two chicken sliders. The fries are well seasoned and very tasty. The two sauces that come with a meal are very delicious that they blend well with the fries and the chicken slider. The chicken slider tastes good and I'm surprised that they added coleslaw to the smashed burger. That's basically a way to make up a smashed patty since it's recommended that you get a double patty to have a good bun-to-meat ratio. I also like how they packaged everything inside a box probably for convenience. I'm looking forward to Zing 1, which is I believe a chicken burger rather than a slider given its unique appearance and probably bigger size.

Spotted this place on Yelp and I have been meaning to try out a new Spicy fried chicken spot. A nice clean spot and really fast service. Navid was patient and helpful getting my order. I Got the Hot Zing 1 and the chicken fries. The chicken was fried really well and had a nice crunchy texture, the spice level was perfect for me. It's a little hitter than say Daves so get your spice level accordingly. Overall one of the best hot fried chicken spots in the bay.

Mix Rice Platter (too much sauce)

Food was great, service was great, and there was plenty of seating. I ordered the mix rice plate which came with chicken, the smash burger patty, and rice. Unfortunately for me, it was overly sauced. My food was swimming in the sauce, and I couldn't even see what was under it. I didn't expect that much to be topped on it since the picture showed it would be a drizzle. Other than that, the flavor was great. I will be asking for the sauces on the side next time

Zing 1 combo

About a few weeks ago, my brother wanted me to take him here for lunch. Unfortunately, plans changed and we ended up going somewhere else instead. Today, he was going to pick up some stuff for our parents at my house so I thought I'll buy him lunch from here. I showed up around 11:30am and I was the only customer at that time. I ordered two Zing 1 combos (medium spice). The food did take a while to be ready but I do appreciate that the food was made-to-order, instead of it being pre-cooked and sitting under a warmer. In terms of flavor, the fries and the sandwich were flavorful and the sandwich did come with a kick to it (slightly spicier than Dave's medium). Even though I didn't get to try the fried chicken until over an hour after I received the order, the exterior was still crunchy while the interior was still moist. The restaurant offers Pepsi drinks but I'm a Coke person so I ended up getting their sweet tea, which I don't recommend. The drink tasted weird. It had no tea flavor and it actually tasted artificial. If you're a small eater, this meal can feed two people. I ended up eating half and giving the rest to my hubby to finish. I docked one star because there's a charge for extra sauce and with the price they charge, I'm expecting a side of sauce with my meal.

Terrific spot for some freshly prepared, deliciously & liberally spiced Halal fare. The chicken sandwich came out sizzling and it was big enough to perhaps even share. The smash burger and fries were both scrumptious as well and the place was pretty spacious and very clean - even the restroom!

I'll go into detail for each: - the kubideh combo (chicken and beef) were the juiciest and fresh kabobs you'll find around. Serves with very well made white rice that'd be delicious on its own - Texan burger was so rich and juicy with a spectrum of flavor that'll make you overeat - the manto dumpling was easily the best one I've had though I haven't had too many this one definitely was cooked to perfection - very friendly staff that goes out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction - it's a clean, well kept and cozy place to sit - nice outdoor seating with effective heating - bathroom is also clean

My family and I, two adults and two young children, came here during Ramadan for iftaar. Before arriving, I specifically called ahead to ask whether we needed to come early because I understood restaurants can become very busy during iftaar time. I was told that arriving 10 to 15 minutes before iftaar would be perfectly fine and that our food would be ready around the time of breaking fast. Based on that reassurance, we came about 20 minutes before iftaar expecting a smooth experience. Instead, the moment we walked in, it felt like we were invisible. The restaurant was crowded but not chaotic. We sat down and waited while servers walked past us repeatedly without acknowledging us. Eventually, I had to flag someone down myself just to place an order. I even asked directly how long the food would take because we were fasting all day and had two small children with us. The server confidently assured us the food would arrive around iftaar time. That never happened. When iftaar finally arrived, all we received were dates and water. No appetizers, no main dishes, nothing. We continued waiting while table after table around us received their food. Meanwhile, our children became increasingly upset and hungry. Anyone with young kids knows that after a full day of fasting, asking them to wait another 20, 30, even 50 minutes is nearly impossible. Our kids were crying, exhausted, and confused as they watched other families eat while we sat there with empty plates. What made the situation worse was the complete lack of honesty and accountability. Every time we asked about our order, we were told, "It's coming soon." Then eventually the server disappeared entirely for nearly 20 minutes and avoided us altogether. A woman later approached us, but instead of apologizing or taking our concerns seriously, she became dismissive and defensive. By this point, nearly 50 minutes had passed since we ordered, and she still insisted we "shouldn't complain" (in Farsi) because the food would come "soon." That response was honestly more upsetting than the delay itself. A simple apology, honesty, or basic compassion toward a fasting family with small children would have gone a long way. We eventually left the restaurant feeling humiliated, disrespected, and deeply disappointed. What saddened me most is that this happened during Ramadan, a month centered around patience, generosity, hospitality, and good character. In Afghan culture and Islamic ethics, guests are supposed to be treated with dignity and care, especially during iftaar. Halal is not only about the food being permissible. Halal is also about honesty, fairness, respect, and how people are treated. Sadly, this restaurant failed in all of those areas. We will never return, and I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for respectful service or a welcoming family environment.

The shawarma was packed with meat, which is refreshing compared to a lot of places that load up on rice or bread instead, such as a kabob shop and a few others. Here, you actually get what you pay for. Everything was flavorful, the sauces were on point, and the food arrived piping hot as I asked, although this kid who took my order made it complicating As someone Middle Eastern, I'm picky about shawarma, and this definitely hit the mark. The falafel and fries were solid too, and overall it felt like great value for the price. The only downside was the person who took my order his attitude could've been better.
