I took Nikki Body Blast class Sunday morning and it was exactly what I expected! It was my first time visiting a fitness studio after the pandemic and they made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. They checked my temperature, the mats were set up 6 feet from each other and they had disinfecting wipes at the entrance that you can use to further clean your area. I got a great workout and I look forward to going back and trying their bounce (trampoline) class! read more

Great Zing Spin class!! loved the instructor on Thursday at 6:30. The music was old and could be faster and up to date. Needs new music.

I absolutely love spin! However, after some joint issues and foot damage (not from spin), I can no longer spin 3-5 days a week like I used to. Here and there I will take a spin class and I found out about Zing thru a friend of mine who taught here. The owners are super friendly and the facility is spotless. I will say it's a trek coming from Hackensack but heck, I used to spin at a cycling studio in Montclair-lol. I can now only spin maybe once or twice a month but I think I received some email about a special with barre. I do know there is a Pilates place inside the facility so maybe there is some sort of partnering of classes. I must check my email for the notice again. I even told my daughter about Zing and she and one of her college friends went to a class. They also said the people were very nice, class was challenging, and they did not feel uncomfortable with being the newbie. I plan to return to Zing soon and to take class on a Sunday with Hannah. I like Hannah. The other instructors are great too but I'm always supporting to tall woman. Hannah is a tall young lady like me . I will admit that I'm not that young though but I am young at heart-lol. Anyhow, try Zing Cycle out; you will not be sorry. I am super happy that I no longer need to travel to Montclair. You say but I can spin at a regular gym and take other classes and it will be cheaper. Yes, you're right; but, here's the thing. I've belonged to numerous big box gym chains and I was what you call the gym rat. Over the past 4 yrs since going to classes at boutique specialty gyms, I like the experience so much better! If you are the serious workout person, try a boutique studio like Zing. I guarantee that You will not be sorry read more

I took my first kickboxing class with Lisa yesterday. The ambiance was amazing, I felt like I was at a dance party only doing super intense core warmups and kickboxing. I dont think I've ever sweat so much. I definitely will be back there! read more

Amazing workout with great classes and instructors. The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend.

After attending 3 sessions at this studio, here are my thoughts: - you can tell a lot about the business by the way they handle a negative review. I had given this studio 3 stars (not even that negative), but Laurie the manager contacted me immediately, inviting to try other instructors' classes. When I went, she was very friendly; helped me with the bike adjustment, explained how the screen works and was very professional. The customer service you get here is beyond amazing! People are very friendly. - you MUST take Anna's class. She's awesome. The songs are great, it's fun and you can even see your prototype on the screen biking up the hill. :)) - the workouts intense, but at the end the results speak for themselves. Today I biked 12 miles in 45 mins. In the first 5 mins i almost gave up, but the instructors somehow manage to push you through the entire workout. - you can't go wrong with their intro week. It's $5 for unlimited classes. Give it a try and you'll be addicted! read more

Friendly owners and great intro to spinning. I'm an outdoor cyclist and Zing really helped build up my endurance and strength with the instructor's encouragement and enthusiasm plus the analytics. The $5 intro rate can't be beat. Clean showers and steam shower. read more

I've been to many fitness studios around Tenafly - ZING is the place you want to go for exciting effective workouts! Great location, not too crowded or empty. Each class has the perfect amount of people and instructors that actually care and go at each person's pace. Machine and facilities are always clean/neat - recommend spin classes with all the instructors because they each have their way of making the classes so fun! Great deals for everyone and Laurie is always there to make it even greater! - Jean read more

Everything the founders promise... and more! Fun environment with excellent equipment and sound system :). But the best part are the people... the friendly owners and the dedicated instructors: each with a personal style of teaching and motivating. Spinning may be biking to nowhere but I can't think of a more fun way to keep fit and healthy and Zing is the best spinning facility in NJ! read more

So glad Zing Cycle asked for a second chance. After a misunderstanding, they invited me to think about trying their classes as their guest, and I did. They were especially gracious upon my return and had an exceptional team of spin instructors to make riding there fun. I am still cycling through where and if I will continue to include spin as a major part of my daily workout, but one thing's for sure. If I do, Zing certainly has my vote as a possible contender. I am especially enamored with their consistent involvement in my immediate community, and how they support community initiatives with fund -raising events at the studio. Earns an A plus in that area. Meantime, I go to my gym daily and taking cycle classes daily at a competing studio at this time. While Zing drew me back, they failed to close the deal by personalizing the Zing experience for me. Looks like they have plenty of satisfied riders and packed studios and I am glad. Hope they continue to thrive. I did see many offers they promoted in the past that would have been perfect for me and help them fill some empty bikes during down times. But they failed to pursue them with me while other studios came courting with very sweet offers, equally exceptional service and more. Sure I will be an occasional rider there at some point. Riders wanting to burn calories, feel fitter, and have fun will find Zing a welcoming studio to achieve their goals. read more

Approaching my 250th ride at Zing and couldn't be happier with the staff, facility and the way they treat you. If you want your butt kicked into shape with great music, Jennifer is the spin instructor for you! I am 2 years into spin there and have never felt better. JL read more

i found a free class card at a local restaurant and decided to use it. i have never tried spin before but i figured i'd give it a go. the owners are so friendly and both made me feel at home at my first class. i like that everyone is able to go their own pace but still be a part of the class. i loved my free trial and the atmosphere there. unfortunately, i am a student and it's difficult to pay for these classes especially while a gym membership is so much cheaper. if i had the money i would be here twice a week. read more

I love spinning and am always looking for new ways to work hard. What got me in here in the first place was the $5/intro classes. I wasn't sure what to expect. I grew up in the area, so I was excited this place was close, without having to travel to New York City. Immediately, I was impressed and knew I would be coming back. The instructors are great and you can definitely tell they love what they do. They are so inspirational and push you to go beyond your limits without being overbearing or intimidating. There is nothing better than 8am spin on a Saturday morning, it sets the tone for the whole weekend! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good workout. You will never leave disappointed & will always leave feeling like you can accomplish anything! read more

The classes are really convenient, the facility is spotless and the equipment is state of the art. The best part of Zing is the instructors, especially Liz who make the classes incredibly challenging and fun at the same time! read more

I highly recommend this studio for anyone looking for real workouts that will keep you wanting to come back for more. Super easy to use their website to find/book classes and keep track of passes. They even allow last minute rescheduling two hours before while some studios charge you if you don't give 12 or even 24 hours notice. The facility is modern and clean and they've thought of everything to make you feel comfortable. They even spoil their clients and sanitize the mats for them rather than having everyone deal with spraying them down like most studios. The instructors and front desk all have such a welcoming, positive attitude that everyone is working out with a smile and you can tell it starts with management as the owners are super friendly, responsive and accommodating. I've tried almost all of the types of classes they offer and enjoyed that the instructors are always supportive and offer options that tailor to every fitness level. So glad to have this gem of a studio locally! read more

Took my first class today and loved it. I highly recommend trying a class at zingcycle.
