This is a great studio! I would rate 3.5 if I could on Yelp. Not the best I've experienced or seen by any means, but good enough to get your butt kicked in a great workout. Positives: -The front desk is always really friendly (I think she's the owner). -Nicole B is awesome. I've taken a lot of spin classes in a lot of different studios and she's definitely one of the top instructors I've had. Take her class if you want to break a sweat each time. Mike is also really great as well. -Nice, spread out area and lighting, bikes are distributed evenly enough in such that it's a "no-judgement" work out. Negatives: -Variability of instructors. This can be frustrating when the price per class is $20+. You just kind of have to experiment a little in terms of who you book and then stick with them once you find out the instructor that fits well with you. -Minor detail but they don't have spin shoe rentals...This is the first studio I've been to that doesn't have them, but it's not big deal, their spin bikes have like a mini net thing that you can slip your sneaker into; however there is a HUGE difference b/w a workout with and without a shoe that can clip into the bike. read more

I've tried a few spin studios in the area and a couple in other states and this one is one of my favorites. I started with the Groupon for five classes for $25 (awesome deal) and wasn't disappointed. You likely wouldn't actually notice the place if you didn't know it was there - it's not on the main road. The facility is well maintained, there are showers and a bathroom and some lockers. There is water only for purchase and they provide a free towel for the class. For my first class, the instructor Rusty (no longer there) was nice and encouraging, even though I sat for a lot of the class. It is good to come 10-15 minutes before your first class to adjust on the bike and ask any questions. These instructors feel more "real" than in some other spin studios, which is nice; they are also very high energy. I don't like places where the instructor gets up off the bike and just runs around giving encouragement and wanting you to reach back to them - I want the instructors work up a sweat alongside the class, and these instructors all do that. I especially enjoy Nikki's classes - she plays more modern music than the other instructors and she does a great job motivating the class. Lyndada puts on a fun class and Carolyn's class is varied, too. I didn't feel as if the owner was super friendly, maybe just not to me, but it doesn't stop me from wanting to come! I do wish that spin classes were a little bit cheaper but they all seem to run at about these same prices. read more

I love Ride. I have taken spin classes in the past and never really cared for them. However, a friend persuaded me to take a class at Ride and I absolutely fell in love with it. The atmosphere at this studio is incredible, everyone is supportive and encouraging. No matter what shape you are in, you get a great work out starting with your very first class and you are continually challenged from then on. I have been going to Ride for over a year and every class still pushes me to my limits. I am never bored bc the music and the instructors are amazing; the monthly contests give me extra motivation to show up and do my best. The space is clean and spa-like and classes take place in the dark so there is no judgment or pressure. I have pushed many friends to try a class and every single one has loved it and signed up for more! read more

Let me start with the positive- the facility, instructors, and bikes themselves are wonderful! The instructors seem to be passionate about spin and really motivate you to go faster + harder. The facility is also very clean, dimly lit, cool, and each bike came with a personal towel. This is definitely a high end spin studio. It's also nice that they offer classes that are less than an hour long for those who aren't as experienced. Now for the negative- I bought a groupon for 5 classes and my issue with this place was every time I went there it seemed like the owner, or whoever was at the front desk, wasn't very friendly. I almost felt like she frowned upon customers using the groupon. After my first class, I asked if there was a drinking fountain and she responded that they "only had water for sale" which is fine, but I just felt like the way she responded was condescending. The second time I went, I had an issue with cancelling a class (I cancelled within the allowed time frame to get my class credit back) but the computer system wasn't showing that I cancelled. When I advised the same woman of this issue, her response made me feel like she thought I was lying and trying to get a free class which I would never do. She did end up crediting my class, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. The whole experience just had a very pretentious vibe going on. I'm sure the regulars here will disagree with my review, but when I leave a place that I just gave my money to it would be nice for the owners/staff to be friendly and grateful I spend my hard earned funds there. Being friendly with greetings and thank you's go a long way with the customer's experience! Even with my slightly negative experience, I would however, recommend this studio for anyone thinking to check it out (just remember to bring your own water.) read more

If you love to spin, this is the place for you to try! It is a great spin studio hidden in the Bergen/Rockland county areal. It is a step above your gym's spin class because it is a location solely dedicated to spin that the take it a few levels up. The teachers are passionate and the music is on point. I actually have fun during these work outs and want to dance. The only downfall is the location is only spin bikes so you can't get any other work outs in like you could at a regular gym. However the prices are right and there are always deals that you can afford a gym membership and a package to Ride Revolution! read more

I was so impressed with the improvements everywhere, from the lobby and 'boutique' to the showers, lockers, and full amenities. And so clean!! Wonderful space and kick ass classes with great instructors! I just started attending classes here and I am new to Spinning. The class instructor was very welcoming and helpful. She had great music playing and kept the class fun while working. This is a Spin only space. The actual room is set up well and has 20+ cycles. Towels are provided at every station and the cycles are too notch. The staff is friendly and the owners are there often, maybe even all the time. There is ample parking and the location is perfect. I will become a permanent member of this place. I highly recommend this Spin Facility. read more

About a month ago my best friend forced me to take a spin class with her at Ride. I wasn't thrilled because it was a Saturday morning and i would have preferred to stay in bed. However I am so happy she forced me to go. After my first class with Steph i was sold and within the next week i purchased 50 rides. I have taken classes with Steph, Nicole, Katie, and Angelica and have not once been disappointed, bored, or not challenged. The studio is clean and comfortable. You never feel embarrassed or compared to other people. You are made to work towards your own personal best. I absolutely love it there and have only improved with the help of the instructors. Ride is the best spin studio in Bergen County, NJ. I am a SoulCycle veteran, boutique fitness addict, and competitive athlete, so I'm a discerning customer. The studio is beautiful, modern, and clean, with all of the amenities you need--from lockers, to showers, down to hair ties (they have everything covered). The instructors are encouraging, have enormous amounts of positive energy, and will challenge you in the best ways possible. They are athletes and true pros. The music is always spot on. I love that the classes incorporate arm weights and the addition of the new Ab Lab sets Ride apart from more traditional spin studios, truly giving you a full-body workout. The classes are the perfect complement to my training programs, whether I'm preparing to run a half marathon or tackling a Spartan Race. I recently returned to Ride Revolution after a couple of years. I had heard they had new owners and was excited to give it another try. I have to say it was one of the best spin experiences I have ever had. For starters it was the cleanest studio around. The instructor Adrienne was awesome. I took a 45 minute class with weights. The music was loud but not so loud you can't hear the instructor. The play list was perfect for spin and easy to keep to the beat. I was told they are getting new bikes which will make it even better. I highly recommend Ride Revolution for anyone who loves spin but is tired of the same old spin in the area . read more

Tried this cycling studio out as a part of the free classes promotion for their grand opening with new management. I was warmly greeted, given a tour of the beautiful new facility. They have a wall full of hooks to hang your bags or jackets on, an area to purchase cycling shoes/clothes, showers and bathroom. The studio itself has changing lights that the instructor uses during the workout for mood changes. I'm not a cycler, I've done it twice before, the owner helped me get adjusted on the bike. There are monitors on the bikes which track your stats and connects to the instructors computer so they can motivate you to pick it up during the session. I wanted to quit after a few minutes in, but before I know it 45 minutes later and I walked out of the studio drenched and feeling awesome. Never thought I would want to be a dedicated cycler, but this place has me considering it! Will definitely be back to take more classes read more

The classes are really fun and a great workout. It's good for beginners and advanced alike. The instructors are great and allow you to tailor the class to your level. As for the instructors, they all have different styles and music which keeps the classes exciting and they are all very professional. As for the reviews on Michelle that I have seen, she is one of the best instructors at Ride Revolution. Michelle is one of the most professional and caring instructors there and always tries to make sure everyone is doing the workout safely. I have been going for about a year and half and I have always had a great experience with Michelle- I actually look forward to her 5:30 am class. I have never seen Michelle do anything mean as the reviews from June 2015 say here (and I took almost all of her June classes). Paige is also an excellent instructor who is professional and a lot of fun even at 5:30 am. The facility is also very clean. What I like most is the early morning classes that allow me to go before work. There are a lot of classes offered throughout the day. I would highly recommend this studio. read more
