I was very happy with service. My carpets and wool rug look so much better! A couple little spots they couldn't get out (we do have young children and a dog) but I am amazed at how much better our rug looks. It was in tough shape. The owner was very friendly and professional from the first phone call through the cleaning services. I would definitely use Zimp again. Thank you! read more

I needed the carpeted areas of my new home cleaned as I had just bought it and was moving in within a couple of weeks. I found ZIMP here on Yelp listed as the number 1 carpet cleaning service in the area and immediately scheduled out the time for them to come out to my home. I was shocked at how easy and fast it was to block off the time on their website and book the appointment.; so shocked that I felt uncomfortable and wanted to talk to someone to verify that I could expect them at the agreed upon time as I was under the gun between closing on the house and having everything delivered to fill it. The young woman who answered the phone was very unprofessional and acted as if she didn't know what I meant by 'confirming the scheduled appointment', there was also the notion that my carpet should be vacuumed before they come to clean it which presented another kink in my plan because the house cleaner was scheduled to come the day after them. Let's think about that for a moment "the carpet cleaning service wants me to vacuum my own carpet before they come and clean it". Again i'm under the gun and there isn't enough time to research and call anyone else to do the work so I move the appointment to the day after my housecleaner comes. OK, I'm squared away...my house cleaner comes vacuums the carpet so I'm ready for the carpet cleaners....next day as I'm waiting for ZIMP to show up I notice they're late; 30 minutes, 40 minutes, an hour......yea they never even show up; hell they don't even call me! Not sure where all of these 5 star posts came from but it seems that I called a completely different service from the sound of things. I just got off the phone after talking to what sounds like the same young lady that I spoke with before; she didn't even bother to look up my information and continued to have a very unprofessional attitude with loud music playing in the background. I wish YELP would allow me to rate something with 'NO' stars? **********************Bill the owner shortly after I posted this review called me to offer his deep apologies for the missed appointment and reversed the initial payment made . He said he hoped that if the time ever came for me to need his services that he hoped to I'd give his business another try and would provide a deep discount. I'm posting this to paint a complete and well rounded view of my experience with this service. read more

This was definitely the best furniture cleaning I have ever had and how awesome to have your kids come home and be able to sit on the furniture immediately!!!! Since they are green you don't have to worry about any chemicals. Also, all 3 pieces were completely dry when I came home. Even though there are no harsh chemicals all of the stains were removed, he even gave me some great tips on spot cleaning. I would recommend this company to everyone. read more

Bill was on time, frindly and did a wonderful job. We just moved in and didn't know what types of carpet we had, and he quickly realized it was wool and took extra care in cleaning. Very much appreciated this attention to detail. Will use again and highly recommend! read more

I just thought I would take a moment to talk about how pleasant my dealings with this company were. I have a town home with four flights of stairs and s couple of four legged friends. I have used DA Burns in the past and thought they were OK. But I liked the idea of the environmentally friendly approach that Zimp takes. I called on a Friday and they Bill was there the following day, at the agreed upon time. He worked efficiently and I was pleased not only with the finished product. But also the price. I will recommend Bill and his company to anyone who needs this service. read more

Zimp quoted me a not to exceed price. Showed up on time and did the best job he could considering the poorer quality of our carpeting and a few deeply embedded stains. My carpet did look better and I felt confident it was now safe enough for my baby to crawl on since they standby their green methods of cleaning. Will definitely use them again. read more

Really great carpet cleaning service! Online booking makes it very convenient to make an appointment when you're available and when zimp is available. My only issue was being unable to contact them via phone or receive any kind of correspondence via email. Every time I called the number I was not able to get anybody on the line. I wanted to confirm that everything was in order the day before the scheduled date but heard from no one. When I didn't see anyone pulling up at the scheduled start time I called the number again to see if I could see what the status was with the driver, I did not get through to anyone. The cleaner arrived ten minutes after the initial start time, however, and the cleaning lasted about twenty minutes past the originally scheduled time slot. Upon completion I also learned that you cannot double up on discounts so buyer beware: choose either the yelp discount you get via booking online or the $75 coupon! You can't have both. read more

Great job, on time and made my carpet look better than when I moved in. Will use them again.

We had our carpets cleaned by Bill this afternoon and they look excellent. Scheduling was easy - I emailed the address listed on their website and he replied shortly (even though it was Saturday afternoon). Bill called 10 min before getting to our place and he was on time. He is not yet set up to take credit cards, so make sure that you have your checkbook ready. Overall, a it was a great experience: on time, professional, great results. Highly recommended. read more

A terrific professional carpet cleaning service that specializes in doing it green. Bill was very professional land did a very throrough job thoughout our house and with our sofa. The carpet is clean with no chemical smells. Very happy with the job and excellent customer service. He was also very flexible about scheduling around our calendar and timeframes. read more

Great service, friendly staff -- we hired Zimp for a move-out cleaning. They were quick to respond and accommodated our rushed timeline. Two individuals showed up with what appeared to be minimal equipment and did an amazing job on the place! I was sad to be leaving such a clean house. I ended up being home most of the time they were there so saw the level of detail work that went into it. I would definitely hire them again! read more

Zimp was awesome. Dwayne was our guy, and he was really nice, friendly, and did a great job on our super nasty carpet. He came the same day that we called, worked quickly, and got all of our lovely stains out. It cost $210 for about 700 square feet (three rooms), but was discounted to $189 because we were first time customers. I'd definitely ask for Dwayne again, and I highly recommend these guys. read more

Our first experience with Zimp I was not pleased at all. The house we moved into the carpets were a mess after a ton of research I chose Zimp because of previous reviews. When the young man came he was very aloof and seemed annoyed that I asked him to really scrub the carpets. After 2 hours and 450.00 I was not happy! He said: "well that's the best I can do". I decided to call the owner the next day and he said he would come out and take a look. After a week he came back and re-did my carpets free of charge with a "deep cleaner brush" my carpets look great he is an honest man who knows what he's doing. He apologized and said: " these carpets were definitely not done correctly"! I would defiantly use them again! read more

This is my third time using Zimp, although the last time was a few years ago - so we were very overdo! Called just two days ago and they scheduled me quickly. Paul was friendly with me and my kids (who were in the house the entire time) He took about an hour and a half to do three bedrooms, 3 flights of stairs, a living area and two small area rugs. Got rid of a few stained areas, although one of the bigger ones he said that he tried, but was unable to remove the dark discolorations in my light carpet. No chemical odor, and things are just a bit damp, but he said they should dry by tonight. The price was reasonable and I got the Yelp discount. Great work Zimp! read more

This company came to our house and right away the raised they price they said they would give me over the phone. The guy's name was Bill, he was unprofessional, and I just wanted him out of my house when he started to do the job. I worked at a carpet cleaning company in North Carolina, I didn't think he knew what he was doing. I paid the extra fee's and the carpets were wet for 2 days. Would never use again. J F read more

Arrived when they were supposed to. My sofa was not super dirty, but it needed a good going over. I feel they did an adequate job. I paid, he left. I left. I got back and went to check the cushions (which were still propped up all over the place) and stepped in a puddle on my area rug, which is sitting on my hardwood floors. Ugh. I had to move all the cushions, the three sections of the sofa, pull up the area rug and the area rug pad and prop them up so they would dry out before replacing them. Thankfully there was no damage to the floor -- just a good thing I left for a few hours vs. a few days or weeks. So, meh. I've experienced better. read more

Great carper cleaning service. They came on time and were very professional in their work. Our baby girl would spit out a lot so we had a million milk stains on our carpet. Absalom was prompt and efficient and was able to get all the stains out. I'm very happy with the outcome and so is my wife. Our carpets now almost look like brand new and smells even better! read more

I think I was a little disappointed because the reviews on Yelp were all 5 stars and I expected to get 5 star service. They said they were going to be there between 1-1:30 and I got a call at 1:30 saying that they would be late and asked if I wanted to reschedule. I had spent all morning moving furniture so rescheduling was out of the question. They said they'd be at my place in an hour. Bill spent most of the time doing the couches which dried pretty quickly and I was happy. However, the carpets took over 24 hours to dry! I also wished that Bill had worn booties over his shoes - but that's not a big deal. So I'm going to give only 4 stars because of the 24 hour dry time and being an hour late and not calling as soon as he knew he'd be late. All in all the service was good and is pretty affordable - $225 for my entire apartment and two couches. I would use them again. read more

We have been using Zimp for 10 years and are very happy with their service. They are reliable, friendly, and do a wonderful job. Everything looks so much better after they visit! Thanks so much. read more

Exactly like the other reviewers - I am VERY happy with the service and quality that Bill/Zimp Carpet Cleaning offers. They did a fabulous job in our 6500 sqft clinic and with rare great customer service! Bill is very friendly, professional and a hard worker - great business owner. Keep up the great work and thank you for bringing back quality and great customer service! Thanks Bill! read more

ZIMP was easy to schedule, showed up close to on-time (called to let me know they were running late) and did a thorough cleaning. I don't think all of the spots on our carpet got cleaned the way we had hoped but Bill/Zimp said we could call him back to get a touch up if needed once things dried. I didn't feel like we got hit with any surprises, the job was done pretty much as described on the phone. read more

Bill was great! He was willing to accommodate my schedule and showed up on time. I think Bill owns and operates the business by himself but he's super professional and even gave me tips on taking care of my carpet after the cleaning. My carpet was pretty clean with no spots to begin with so I can't tell if the cleaning was effective or not but his pricing with the first time discount was competitive. read more

I'm sorry to write a bad review for this company and it's flummoxing, since they have so many great reviews! Perhaps there's just something weird about my carpet! But there are many dark places where dark places never were before. Bill did come look at it and offered a redo, but I asked for and received a refund instead. However, when I explained the problem I'd had to another company, they said they wouldn't guarantee they could fix it! So, I called Zimp again and offered to give back the refund if they could fix it. This time Bill himself came out, but unfortunately my carpet now has even MORE dark places and looks terrible!...I have discovered though, that with a very stiff brush and a dry rag and a lot of elbow grease, I'm able to return the dark places to their original color!...This is grueling work though and will take quite awhile to do all the dark places. I will definitely earn the refund money. At least Bill was very nice about the debacle, and I felt bad about it. read more

Wow, been getting my carpets cleaned professionally for years, and Zimp is definitely the best. Professional, friendly, thorough and hardworking - those are the words that come to mind. Felt like I got a good deal, too. read more

Thank you Yelp for the recommendation and thank you Zimp for getting my carpets clean! I scheduled my appointment online just a few of days ago. Yesterday I got a phone call confirming my appointment and today Bill called me to confirm again and see if he could stop on in a little earlier if he was available. I agreed and Bill was at my place early and got the job done quickly. My carpets look great and all the yucky stains are gone! Bill is very professional and very knowledgable about carpets and his cleaning. It's so nice getting good service and a technician how is personable. The whole process was extremely easy and Zimp's prices are competitive. I will definitely give Zimp a call the next time my carpets start to look dingy. :) read more

Great service. Phil was very accommodating and did a nice job on our carpet. He was prompt and friendly. I will call him again.

I was very happy that Zimp could fit me in within a few days, at a time that suited me. Jeremy cleaned a 2 story townhouse being vacated, that had 3 different types of floors. He was unable to get up some sticky tape residue - however, I hadn't requested it & he didn't have the right product with him, but we were able to scrape that up. He was also unable to get up dog hair along the edges with his machine. We hadn't really vaccumed well because we thought he'd be able to get it up with his cleaning. But again, that was easy for us to take care of. Bill (the owner) was able to give me a quote over the phone, which was very reasonable compared to the other one from a different company. In all, I recommend Zimp, and will use them again. read more

I don't know who has given this cleaning service 5 star rating. It seems it was done by people who Bill knows. I got this service and am highly unsatisfied. The first thing is that I got stains on the carpet which I was told that was there earlier and I know I never had it. Also, Bill left 2 spots uncleaned which I had to go twice and get them cleaned. So you have to make sure you remove each item in the room because Bill does not remove and clean. Moreover the charges are much more than others so what is so special that is done in the cleaning process. read more

Bill at Zimp is as professional they get and did a wonderful, expert job cleaning our large sofa. We felt that the price was right, too.

Super cheap. They did a great job cleaning my old dirty carpet. It was pretty fast too. Why didn't I hire a carpet-cleaner earlier?!! I will definitely use them again. read more

We've used Zimp for several carpet cleanings, persian rug [off-site] cleaning, and will be using them in the near future for a deep house clean as well. We love Zimp! The owner is so friendly, always calls if he's going to be even a few minutes late, and they are fast and efficient with great results. The online scheduling is probably my favorite thing. read more

Zimp works and smells fabulous. But Ruben is the reason this is so popular. He's such a good guy. Hire Zimp today!!

My dog started "using" the basement and soiled the carpet right before Thanksgiving. I used ZImp's online scheduling system, which was very easy, and Rueben came out and cleaned the carpet lickety-split. Friendly and professional, he got the job done quickly and thoroughly. I'm pleased with the results and would absolutely recommend them to a friend. read more

Really bailed me out of my boat problem. Another carpet cleaner called less than an hour before their scheduled time and cancelled. I had arranged to move my boat to a local businesses dock to get the truck close to the boat and removed all the furniture. I had also taken time off work to get this all coordinated. I called around and found the owner was willing and able to come immediately. Got there only 5 minutes later than the original scheduled cleaning, got the job done and was really nice. I will be hiring them to clean my house too. read more
