Hello, I want to leave this review of my Ziker professional who picks up the laundry at my place of employment. His name is Shane, he has such a personable personality and is always pleasant and super speedy in turn around time for delivery. He deserves 5-starts and more for his representation of Ziker, his personality and his service! read more

The last 2 times there I have not received my discounts based on their email specials. The first time before this they calculated 20% at 15 %. Oh boy, really a mistake. The next time I dropped off on the day the 20% ended and got nothing. I gave them that, thinking I missed the drop off deadline. This time for I dropped off a full day before the special ended and still got nothing as a discount. I have been a customer there for over 25 years and this how I am treated and have also been blocked from their website. read more

I honestly cannot recommend this company. When I dropped off my suits in the morning, I tried to alert the worker of specific stains that I wanted to have specifically addressed. Unlike every dry cleaner I've ever been to in the last 20 years, who will place a sticker on the stain to alert the cleaner, she simply stated that's not how it's done here. According to her, if the dry cleaning did not remove the stain then i could have it "wet washed," but without any guarantee that the fabric would not be destroyed. I've quite frankly never been to a place that won't mark the locations of stains so that particular attention could be focused on those areas. To add to it, the worker was not personable and seemed dismissive. Fast forward to when i picked up the suits and NONE and I mean NONE of the stains had been removed. The workers in the afternoon were much nicer than the one in the morning, but neverthless the suits were in a terrible condition. They were pressed nicely, and no wrinkles were present, but they were NOT clean. Add to it that I was charged over $50 for 2 suits and a pair of pants, and I can confidently state that I will not be coming back here. I've been using dry cleaners for 20 years and have never had a problem before. It just feels that Ziker's has no pride in it's work. Oh, and to add insult to injury, it takes 2 weeks to have pants hemmed. Go somewhere else. read more

The young tailor lady who did my pants was awesome. She knew exactly what she was doing and did it fast.

I have regularly used ziker cleaners, minor disappointment that I could live with but this last bunch I took cost me an arm and a leg and one of my garment came back with color stain. the blue dress had bleed into the color and around the arms which are white. I do not know what kind of chemicals they use but I should have just resolved to washing it in my house if they were going to do the same thing. for the price you pay you will think they will be having quality products to do their job right. this is the kind of job I would expect to get if I took it to the laundry mart for cleaning for that matter. read more

Nice staff. Big marketing budget. But not good at spot removal. And you will be charged. I was warned there was no guarantee. I guess I didn't believe, at first, that my dissatisfaction for a job not well done, would be worth less than the price of unsuccessful cleaning. Interesting policy but count me out. I thought, well, not every stain can be removed but surely I won't be charged two bucks fourteen cents will I? Be sure and ask about this policy before you leave a shirt with a stain on it. This business has been around a long time. Over time a big business mentality has set in. Lots of marketing and customers means one pain in the neck demanding customer doesn't matter. Even say if that customer has had hundreds of shirts cleaned there over decades. The gall of it! Thinking a shirt should come back clean. How unreasonable! Probably if you are an unreasonable customer who wants a clean non-spotty shirt back then you should not bother them. read more

Ziker Cleaners - Dry Cleaning Near Me - South Bend, Indiana

Took a dress shirt in to have it pressed and starched. Came back with a yellow stain on it So they took it back to try and get the stain out and they lost the dress shirt. Definitely Stay Away From This Place! read more

I have used Zikers in the past ... and while they have always been the most expensive in town, they have usually delivered on the promise of quality. Unfortunately, I can no longer claim they stand for quality and service. The last several times I have used them, the garments have come back with cat hair on them. After a recleaning, this had been remedied ... but it had left doubt in my mind as to if they had lost their champion, white glove touch. However - this last time I had a perfect condition Lord and Taylor long black wool coat cleaned, it came back horribly. I wish that was the only problem. The coat took two weeks to clean when I was promised 48 hours. I came back several times asking if something was wrong ... they said nothing wrong, just that they were busy. Turns out someone was panicking... they had washed the coat with a red coat that shed lint so fine all over the coat that there was no way it could come out. It went back to central cleaning three times ... this third time, after I complained to corporate ... it came back worse ... they decided to sabotage the coat to make it look like it was a horror from the start ... they opened up the bottom seam and cut the pin on the inside sleeves and then they sewed the bottom up in a haphazard way to make the garment look like it needed a overhaul. It also came back with cat hair everywhere. Wow! Whoever runs the shop is dishonest, immoral and profuse with bad judgement and workmanship. Maybe they have had a lot of personal changes over Covid19... but this ... combined with rudeness peppered up and down the chain of command (with the exception of a nice receptionist at corporate headquarters who apologized profusely and a nice girl named Tyler who sent my garment off a fourth time) ... not sure why I sent it off a fourth time ... what will they do to sabotage the coat this time ... cut the lining out and paint graffiti? I have never in my life been treated so rudely at a cleaners, with such bad service, so unapologetically. The dichotomy is ... they used to be good. They just raised there prices 10% ... which I would have been willing to accept with the quality and service for which they used to stand. Now they are high priced, poor quality and poor service. As the old saying goes ... price, quality and service ... pick two out of three as you never get the best of all three. Zikers used to be a company that you knew you were paying a high price ... but for that sacrifice you received high quality and great service. Now when you go there, expect the worst of all three ... the highest price, the lowest quality and the worst service. And, expect to be lied to and cheated and treated rude beyond compassionate understanding. Oh - and if they damage your expensive garments beyond repair ... expect that they will depreciate the garment to the point that it is worth less than the price of the original dry cleaning bill... but only if you can produce a original receipt for garment. If you do not have your receipt... expect an offer for a refund of the butcher's service, but no more. Bottom line: Don't walk, run, to another cleaners. Any place is better than what Zikers Cleaners has turned into after Covid19 destroyed their quality personnel and the place was left for the wolves to run. I shutter at what this garment will look like when it returns a fourth time. Please do not take your chances ... just go somewhere else from the start. You will be so glad you did. read more

I dropped off a large order and asked to have a tear mended. When I received the clothing back, I noticed that the mend was not repaired. I forwarded the information on, but haven't received a reply from them in a week's time. It was not a lot of money, I'm just very disappointed in their follow up. I've used the location on Portage before with no real issue, so I feel that this is more of a location opportunity than a company one. All in all, a $9 investment isn't too bad of a warning for me to stay away in the future. read more

I went in yesterday needing something done by today at the latest and the store manager Cheryl made it a point to call the plant manager to ensure that my items would be done by today after 5:30. Not only were my items perfect but they contacted me for pickup this morning! This is an awesome team of people who care and make sure their customers have the best service possible! read more

I was very disappointed in the service I received. I dropped off 2 pairs of pants and 2 shirts to be pressed ONLY for a wedding. These were clothes for part of the wedding party. When I picked them up one pair of the pants were soiled. They didn't go there that way! They told me they would launder for free but it would be after the wedding. Really? What good would that do. No offer for a refund or anything. Just kinda, sorry for your luck type of attitude. I'll never return here again. Poor service with poor attitudes. After numerous e-mails back and forth with a manager, she tried to do everything possible to help, however time constraints did not allow for much. As stated in My earlier post, this should have been dealt with immediately by the attendant on duty. The manager felt really bad and did give me a full refund on all my items that day. Still didn't get them laundered for the wedding but she did try. Hope this doesn't happen to anyone else with the staff that was on hand. But at least they made it right after a complaint. read more

Was fine for a while but last time I dropped off a couple suits they returned it to me w ridiculous ink-like stain on the shoulder. Custom suit ruined. Brought it back and they said they'd "do their best." The ink is still there and they didn't bother to even refund me for the initial "cleaning." Terrible service in a small town where there are other options. Bringing my business to St Michaels. read more

The customer service was great! The details of how the cleaners operates was explained, and it really seemed like the staff wanted to help me. The facility is clean and very professional. What I loved the most was the fact that I got an email update when my order was ready to be picked up. It would be even better if a text could be sent, but so far, this is the best cleaners I've been too. My dress shirt did have a couple creases down the front from the way it was hung, but nothing good old fashioned ironing couldn't take out. I will definitely return here! read more

I'm very happy with the results. I had a zipper replaced on a pair of jeans and you can't even tell that there was ever an issue with the jeans or the zipper. Thank you Zikers for such great read more

I thought my bill was a little high, and thought I had better check my laundry tickets when I got home. I had turned in three long-john (underwear) shirts to have laundered, and your wonderful business called them sweaters and charged me for dry cleaning. Of course, I called and complained, and the woman told me that it was policy. REALLY???? You need the money so bad you have to screw people. I have been dealing with your business for 5 years now, and recently you have overpriced yourselves. I won't even mention the times you laundered my dry cleaning (ruining those items) and the shirts you have lost. I was spending over $200 a month at your establishment......bye. read more

Moderate prices, and excellent service. I had a small problem with one item and they took care of it very quickly at no charge.

After Ziker's dry clean, my designer suit became much longer than it used to be and completely lost cutting style. I went to the Ziker to see how to solve this problem, and I was told the manager would call me to discuss about the solution. I didn't receive any call since then. I stopped by the store another THREE times, I was told the same thing "manager would call me", but no one contacted me. It has been FIVE weeks! Very disappointed about Ziker's customer service, their attitude to solve problems. read more

Ziker's is convenient, expedient, and they just do an excellent job with my clothes.

$18.00 to hem a pair of pants and they left threads hanging where if they are pulled or cut, the whole hem comes out. Way over priced for bad quality. read more
