My Tide is in there and I won't get that back either. As with many laundromats, the machines had a slimy film under the rubber seal. Front loaders need to have the door open between uses to allow them to dry and not build up mold.

The rest are top loaders which aren't great at all. The problem with this facility is that there is always several units out of order! Right now, they have only 2 working of the 6 mid sized units! Many dryers are out of order. The money changer has been out of service so many times. It is a pain because no one in the area will give you change! The last time I used it, it took my $20 bill and went out of service. I went and got change, elsewhere. I then put my laundry into one of the huge units, and after putting all of the detergent in and softener and closed the door, it said "out of service"!! I contacted the owner. He did show up, fixed the change machine and returned my money. He said that I should bring my own change, and that it was more of a "convenience" to have the machine there (funny that they have an ATM right next to it, so what's that all about). Besides, I've never been to a laundromat that didn't have a change machine! After having so many problems with the machines, and seeing them out of order, all the time, I've decided to go to LaPorte to do my laundry as they always have 100% working machines (including the change machine) and always have staff there.
