Old fashioned customer service and going the extra mile for the customer is alive in South Bend! Amber and her team (thanks, too, Natalie) came through for us, which as a first time Ziker customer, made all the difference. I will always use these folks for dry cleaning when I am in town. My son had several items that needed one day cleaning. He is a student, just moved back into the dorms and unpacked all the clothes that were put into storage for him by the school due to Covid last March. Pressing and shirt cleaning were needed. I was leaving for LA the next morning. Ziker advertises same day cleaning -- if you bring your stuff in by 9:00am, ask for same day return and it will be back by 5:30pm. (Great pricing, by the way -- I don't think they charge more for same day service.) I had my window, was there at 5:30 and indeed the clothes were back. Except for one shirt! Ziker does not clean on premise and the ticket got split somehow. The mark of a well run business is what they do when challenges occur. As I had to leave for the airport the next morning and the shirt was still off premise, Amber and her team went the extra mile to make sure the shirt was put on a special delivery truck and had it back for me to pick up when they opened the next morning, in time for me to get to my son's dorm before he left for class and in time to make my flight. Oh, and she did not charge for any of this. The clothes looked fantastic. Fair pricing and wonderful, caring service. Amazing. Thanks to all! You have a customer for life. read more

In town visiting from Texas and needed 7 shirts cleaned and pressed. On their web site it shows the shirt service at $4.90 per shirt a little high but I'm visiting and had no way of doing it so I will pay for the convenience. I had my card out ready to pay when I dropped them off (customary where I come from) but the lady said to pay when I picked up. She knew she spotted an easy mark. When I received my email confirmation to pick them up it said my total was $64 for 3 orders of 7 pcs. assumed it was a typo, it wasn't. apparently some shirts need to be pressed by hand and that's $10.80 per shirt. I have a pretty short fuse so I expressed my disapproval tapped my card, took my shirts and left. Never again. This took place at the Erskine road location. I expected better service from a company that has been around for so long. read more

This was my first time coming up to this Ziker location next to Howard Park, and I was extremely impressed. Very easy to navigate and use. Although there are very little staff interactions (how it's supposed to be), everything on the touchscreens are easy to use. It's amazing to see what technology can do today. I'm not sure if the improved technology is more recent, but they have a great routine going! I was in and out within minutes. I did end up talking with a worker and was telling her how amazing this is and how it saves me lots of time. It's so convenient and that's what I love about it. Ziker always goes above and beyond. I only have positive experiences there! I'd highly recommend this location. read more

I've used Ziker a few times and everything was always fine until right before I move out of town they LOSE two of my items that were irreplaceable (vintage). Not only did they lose the items, it took me calling the store back three times before someone took me seriously and actually sent out a message to all the stores to look for them. They never found them, and they tried to make it right by asking me the value of the items and sending me a check. This whole thing pissed me off. I was a customer of ziker since 1995. Recently they damaged a custom shirt, I was offered (30) dollars for a shirt that cost over 100 dollars to make. It is obvious that this establishment does not appreciate long term customers. If you are new to this area look elsewhere for good service. If you are from this area what until it happens to you. I gave them a one because I couldnt score lower, they deserve zeros across the board. read more

They ruined two dresses and I have never gotten any responses from my efforts to contact customer service. One dress was a burgundy formal with white lace bodice. The bodice came back pink after cleaning. Another dress I sent in came back with brownish stains on the white portion of the dress. I'm most unhappy that no one ever responded when I tried to contact them. The dress company I purchased the formal from said they'd never had an issue with bleeding and it was from the cleaning that Ziker's did. I had to buy a whole new dress to replace the ruined one and Ziker's wouldn't even compensate me for the bad cleaning job! read more

Excruciatingly bad. I have taken numerous items there for dry cleaning and received mediocre/subpar cleaning or returned to me with stains/discoloration. Okay life moves on and I have found a better cleaning service. Fast forward to needing a basic pants hem. They ruined two pairs of pants that I brought in for a basic hem and overcharged what was quoted (receipts to prove). A basic hem should NEVER cost $48. Nonexistent customer service. Poor sweet Angela the seamstress, I could have cut my pants and taped the hem better than her hem. Stay far away. read more

I have been using Zikers for almost 5 years and have been happy with the service, until they closed the location on Sample St. The Jefferson location has lost 4 of my garments. I understand this sort of thing happens and they have compensated me for 3 of the 4 garments. However, this time they mislabeled as shirt as mine (a size too big for me). The clerk refuses to admit an error. I will not return until they compensate me for my lost shirt. When I said I wouldn't be dropping off any more garments until this issue was resolved, she was all to happy to see me go. read more
