This was a pretty extensive project that included removing the old showers, waterproofing, new shower floors and wall tile, plumbing and drain work, and new frameless glass shower doors. They also repaired some water-damaged drywall and took care of other repairs that came up during the project. Eric and his team did a great job, and we're very satisfied with the quality of the work and the finished result. We definitely plan to use EG's Built Construction again for future remodeling projects and other repairs around our home. We would highly recommend them.

We began our Culver City project with a plan to renovate our existing three-bedroom, one-bath home and convert our garage into an ADU. What started as a 325-square-foot garage ultimately became a beautifully designed 705-square-foot one-bedroom ADU. Throughout the process, EG's consistently exceeded our expectations. The quality of the craftsmanship was outstanding, but equally impressive was the team's communication and guidance. Their insights helped us make smart decisions that balanced our budget with our desire for thoughtful design and high-quality materials. As the project neared completion, our confidence in the partnership led us to take on an additional phase--adding flexible living space to the existing home. Technically a JADU, this unique addition transformed our front home into a four-bedroom, two-bath residence, while also creating the option to close off the rear portion and generate rental income in the future. None of this would have come together without the collaborative approach of Eric, the owner, and the entire EG's team. Their professionalism, creativity, and commitment to doing things the right way made a complex project enjoyable and successful. A special thank you to Eric, Andy, Oscar, Lalo, Abner, Uriel, and Hugo, along with all of the expert partner contractors who contributed to bringing our vision to life. We are thrilled with the results and highly recommend EG's Built Construction to anyone looking for a team that combines quality craftsmanship with integrity, communication, and true partnership.

He met with me on a Sunday at 11:00 a.m. and took the time to thoroughly review the plans for my two bathroom and kitchen remodel. After walking through the project details, Khaled sat down with me and clearly explained the remodeling process with complete transparency. Although my budget was below his estimated project cost, he still generously shared valuable advice about what to look for when evaluating contractors and navigating the renovation process. A few weeks later, Khaled followed up to check on my progress. His timing could not have been better, as the contractor I had ultimately hired was not working out. He took the time to discuss several options with me, which gave me confidence that I had a path forward. Khaled even offered to connect me with a trusted subcontractor if needed and welcomed me to reach out with any questions or concerns along the way. While I was ultimately unable to move forward with AP Remodeling due to budget constraints, I was genuinely impressed by Khaled's integrity, responsiveness, and willingness to help without any obligation. If you are looking for quality workmanship backed by exceptional customer service and can accommodate the investment, I highly recommend working with Khaled and the team at AP Remodeling.

Our superintendent, Eduardo, managed the various crews well and treated our property with care. Front office and management were professional and top-notch as well. With AP Remodeling, you're getting a fully dedicated team on your side, one that respects your home and is fully committed to customer satisfaction. Project manager Josef was excellent in bringing in his partners (designers, foreman, etc.) to ensure from the design to finish we were collaborating and satisfied with the end result. For the garage, we had it drywalled (no insulation), installation of a attic ladder (bought from Home Depot) to make use of a pre-built storage area, updated garage door and exterior lighting. Front yard included adding extra pavement to be able to park two cars on the driveway (we have the pre WW II one car driveway) but looks like a part of the front yard design, installation of artificial grass (YAY), redo of the front porch to include redoing the porch ceiling with a bare wood look, and installation of a pathway to the front steps. We had 3 home improvement projects in the last couple of years (including this project) and WTG Builders was the best in terms of responsiveness, communication, and setting expectations. Perhaps I'm more wiser too about projects but I appreciated Project Manager Josef's communication and updates and the various trade teams were fantastic. I also took into consideration their work in the local Long Beach/Lakewood area which I think is important. I would use them again and recommend them for similar projects!

We had a vision, and Mike brought it to life!…read more We've tackled our fair share of remodel projects over the years, but nothing quite prepared us for the leap into a complete, ground-up ADU build. We knew this wasn't a project to hand off to just anyone, we needed a true expert, someone who could steer us through every twist and turn with confidence. That's exactly what we found in Mike. From our very first meeting, Mike had a calm, reassuring presence that told us we were in good hands. He listened closely to our vision, asked the right questions, and laid out a clear path forward that immediately put our minds at ease. And trust us, our minds needed easing, we came to him with a steady stream of nervous, sometimes repetitive questions, and he never once made us feel like a burden. He answered every single one with patience, warmth, and genuine reassurance. Communication was a true highlight of working with Mike. He kept us updated at every stage, so we always knew exactly where things stood. What could have been an incredibly stressful, all-consuming process instead felt manageable, even exciting. He also took the reins on coordinating with city inspectors throughout the entire build, handling all the back-and-forth so we didn't have to lift a finger. That alone lifted a massive weight off our shoulders. And the icing on the cake? He finished the entire project ahead of the estimated timeline, without ever cutting corners on quality or care. If you're on the fence about a big build like this, let us save you the trouble: call Mike. He turned what could have been an overwhelming experience into one we're genuinely grateful for, and the final result speaks for itself. We couldn't recommend him more highly.

Mike applies his experience well with smart changes to the plans that we wouldn't have thought of, and was flexible when we had questions or changes to make. I was feeling discouraged and frustrated. I happened to stop by Setai on my way back from another place. It was my last resort before DIYing butcher block. George was an absolute godsend. He treated me so respectfully, asked me questions and when I didn't have answers (because I am absolutely clueless about countertops) he asked simpler questions that got his answers. Due to the fact that my job was so small, it was more cost effective to choose from remnants, which I was fine with. He took me to his stack and patiently dug through. Measured & advised. I didn't take long as I already knew what I wanted and honestly, wasn't being too picky about it (it's for an office space). I asked about install & he gave me a date just a few days later! He called the day before to confirm. He called the morning of to let me know he will give me an eta. His consistency was impeccable. Frankie showed up on time. There was a slight issue with my countertops going flush against my cabinets. Instead of making it an issue he said "I will figure it out". If there isn't anything in my soul that makes me happier than a person that sees a problem and finds a solution. That, right there, is an amazing installer. Any other person would've been annoying about it. He figured it out & the outcome is beautiful. He was fast & efficient. He cleaned up after himself. I wish I had found them sooner. It would've saved me weeks of stress and frustration. I will keep them in mind when we renovate our kitchen & if anyone asks for kitchen & bath recommendations. They are amazing & seeing their work here I would've felt intimidated even asking them to do my little sink area. Every person in that office was so friendly & kind. Alex was quick with his reply and we arranged to meet at my home on the 4th of July, and he arrived exactly on time. At first, it took a few moments to catch on to his accent. This very pleasant handyman is formerly a Russian, and he is perfectly happy to be alive and working in the home of the brave. In he walked, very confident, with a fairly lrge satchel full of assorted tools. I brought him to the site of the offending troublesome valve and he set to work on it at once. In what was probably less than 20 minutes, he had the toilet flushing perfectly, at least 4 times, allowing a fill each time. Congratulations Alex! QUALITY: One cannot argue with success. The job was handled properly, promptly, with hardly a word spoken. At one point, he wanted to draw my attention to a part, and when he wasn't able to say it, he apparently tooked it up and showed me the translated word on his phone. Clever, this fellow, quick and clever. VALUE: Alex had agreed with me in advance regarding the fee. He was on time, friendly, professional, and immediately went into the crawl space to perform a thorough inspection. I was impressed that I received a detailed proposal the very same day. The biggest reason I chose Sunshine Builders was the quality of Jon's inspection. He was the only contractor who identified sagging floor joists in my living room, which likely explained the squeaking floors I had been hearing. He documented the issue with photos and recommended the appropriate repairs, giving me confidence that he was looking out for the long-term integrity of my home--not just trying to sell a standard retrofit.
