First time going here and mentioned it at the drive thru, and they were soooo patient with me in placing an order & even offered ideas/ customizations I could do. Alyssa was one of the people assisting me and she was very kind & even gave my daughter some goodies since it was our first time there! My daughter really appreciated that. The campfire cocoa is actually really nice, temperature was perfect for my daughter. I ended up getting an iced coffee with butter pecan as a flavor add-in & it was really good! I've never had a chance to go inside yet but the atmosphere of the people at the drive thru is great! I just wish I could sign into my account from DoorDash when ordering so I don't miss out on my points! Always know my drinks will be handled w care as they have the cutest little bags for drinks and always include straws- thank you!! If you've been following me you've noticed that I make coffee stops around the Des Moines area. Today was my first visit to the Ziggi's at 18th and Irvinedale in Ankeny, and I gotta say it was a 5 star visit. Usually a pretty busy place, but on this early afternoon I was 2nd in line at the drive-up. Couple minutes later I was greeted my an enthusiastic employee on the speaker who took my order of a plain decaf coffee with cream and sugar. Waited no more than a minute for the car in front of me to get their order, and I was at the window. VERY pleasant young lady, and we completed my purchase quickly. The coffee was excellent, and if you drink decaf, you that that ordering at a new place can be risky. The coffee was smooth, and didn't have that metallic or bitter taste of some decafs. I started coming here when I moved to Ankeny and I must say, this has become my husband and I's constant coffee walk. The service is always so genuine and I love having small convos through the drive thru while they grab my coffee or in the store. My go-to order is the white mocha latte or I've created one with brown sugar and honey hot latte! We love walking here and sitting outside in their area. We love walking here and enjoying the sweet atmosphere and authentic coffee. read more

I've been coming here once a week since the day they opened. I love their energy infusions, and the raspberry truffle latte. My go-to coffee shop! There is usually longer waits, but you can easily avoid it if you order ahead on their app. The main thing I love though, is the service. There's a woman who works there who always has colorful hair (I wish I knew her name)- she is always great and welcoming! Everyone else who works there is usually very nice as well, I really appreciate the work they do, I am NOT a morning person. Highly recommend making Ziggi's your go-to coffee as well. read more

We went through the drive-thru at Ziggi's Coffee in Ankeny, Iowa recently. We had been gone all day and still had a two hour drive to get home. Bookguy and I were both yawning our heads off when I saw Ziggi's coffee up ahead. So I suggested we get takeaway and Bookguy was all for it. Coffee doesn't keep him from sleeping at bedtime like it does me, and he was driving, so he really needed it. He got a large coffee loaded with cream and sugar "so it tastes like candy" he told the barista. He asked for extra sugar packets and they asked him what kind of sugar. Apparently they have several sweeteners. After hearing brown sugar, from the barista, Bookguy cut him off and said "just plain white sugar please." And as it turns out he did use it. He likes sweet coffee. I had a little snack of one of the featured bread slices--blueberry lemon. It was surprisingly good considering it came pre-packaged in a cellophane wrapper. We didn't peruse the menu, but online it looks like they have lots of drink options and breakfast sandwiches. If we're ever in the area again, maybe we'll try something else. read more

This was my first time in this fine establishment and it was a great time. Plenty of seating, though seating is somewhat limited because of covid-19, but still very spacious for like groups of 5. The staff was very friendly and wore masks as well, they even brought our food out. From my understanding it's new, I'm excited to see how it continues to develop. Not for tea drinkers I stopped by for an English breakfast tea. Pretty common in coffee / tea stores. No they only had earl gray. So I ordered a 16 oz chai latte. I asked for the "regular " chai, evidently they have three. OMG. It had a faint milk taste, a faint black tea taste and was lukewarm. Since I used the drive through, I was a block away when I tasted the slop. Bad on me to try a franchise store instead of local. I will go to Porch Light from now on. read more

OMG. If you want something coil&refreshing, try the "Raspberry Truffle (blended) w/almond milk& of course whipped on top. Yummy yummy yummy

Very sweet signature coffees. Over priced in my opinion but the staff was nice and its clean.
