With so many ripoffs in this category, I found an honest and reasonable place that I can recommend. I passed up a number of closer shops to come here, its worth the little extra towing bill, I promise. A competitor wanted to over charge me for the tranny flush alone. But when I called in to speak to the lovely gentlemen at Massillon Transmission it was no secret how they have been in business 30+ years. They let me know they would run a scan to figure out the light issue to ensure it wouldn't require a draining of all engine fluid and thus a double charge for the tranny flush and while they had my girl up they could go ahead and handle the tire rotation that hadn't been done with the latest oil change. I dropped the Kia off at 8am and had a call by 10:30 that everything was good to go. The tranny flush was completed and the codes causing my engine light to be on was included in the notes to make sure I can follow up with a dealership. However it was stressed that the light being on shouldn't be any immediate concern. They solved my issues and gave me peace of mind. I doubt I'll ever go anywhere else in this area for a transmission service on any of my vehicles ever again. It was no different than when my Pappy used to change my oil and that speaks volumes. Plus, the Kia doesn't sound like a jet anymore, I couldn't be happier!
