We called and made an appointment on 10/20/2018 at 3:45pm to have a Rhino bed liner installed at the Cicero location. They took payment over the phone at the time the appointment was made. The appointment was made for Friday, 10/26/2018. We dropped the truck off Thursday night (10/25/2018) in Cicero. When we dropped it off, the first person we spoke to had no record of our appointment. She asked a co-worker about it and he knew exactly who we were because he had set up the appointment over the phone. They told us they would call us tomorrow when the truck was ready for pickup. The next day (10/26/2018) Cicero called us at 1:17pm to inform us that they were having maintenance issues in their building and they would be closing for the day immediately. They informed us that the bed liners were actually installed in their Syracuse location, so we could pick it up there when it was ready. They said that the Syracuse location would call us as soon as it was done. The Syracuse location never called us. The next day (10/27/2018) I called the Syracuse location at 9:49am to check on the status of the truck. I explained to them what had happened the day before with the Cicero location. They had no idea who I was or what I was talking about. I was told they were going to talk to the manager and call me back. I called them again at 11:26am. They said they found the truck but it wasn't ready yet. They said they needed an hour to an hour and a half to finish it up and it would be ready. I asked if they would call when it is ready and he said, no just come in, it will be ready. We arrived at the Syracuse location a little after 1pm. Again, no idea who I was, what I was talking about, or where the truck was. After 15-20 minutes or so the manager realizes that it is down the road at their other garage. He says it's done, he will just send someone to get it. Around a half hour later the truck arrives. They give me my invoice showing no balance due and I go out to the truck to leave. When I inspect the bed of the truck it looks like they did a really nice job. However, the 9 tie down hooks and two plugs are missing from the bed. I search the truck inside and out but I do not find them. I went back inside and told them these parts are missing. They send someone back to the other garage to look for them. 10-15 minutes later they return with the parts. They offer to reinstall them, so I said yes. They finish up and at 2:15pm I finally leave with the truck. When I get home and inspect the truck further, I notice that they reinstalled the hooks improperly and they were upside down. I took them off and reinstalled them myself the proper way. Then on Monday, 11/5/2018 I receive a phone call at 3:09pm from them. They claim that I never paid for the bed liner and I need to make payment. I was not home at the time, but I said I am pretty sure we paid already. I told them I would look at the paperwork I had when I got home later and call them back. I checked through my paperwork that night and found the invoice stating a zero balance due. They called me back at 4:52pm and I explained that my paperwork showed a zero balance due. They said they have no record of payment. I told them that I would check our credit card statement to see if the charge shows there and I would call them to settle this in the morning. I checked our credit card statement to see if the charge was on our account. Our statement showed the charge on 10/20/2018, the day we scheduled the appointment. I called them the next day (11/6/2018) at 10:22am and told them the charge hit our account on 10/20/2018. They said they would look into that. On 11/7/2018 at 12:31pm I received another phone call from them asking for payment. I told them that I had already paid and I was not sure what they wanted me to do. I offered to share any paperwork I had and I offered to show them a screen shot of the credit card charge. She asked if I could send the screen shot of the charge. She gave me a number to text it to and I sent it. Have not heard back from them yet The lack of organization demonstrates a concerning amount of incompetence in this business. Nothing about this customer service experience was pleasant. My time was treated as unimportant as our pickup day was pushed back and then I was forced to wait over an hour after the time I was assured that the truck would be ready. While I was waiting for the truck there were an awful lot of employees standing around doing nothing, yet no one knew anything about my truck. I was very happy to leave that place and be done with it. But then, a week later I start getting phone calls about making a payment that I had already made. Now their incompetence is once again my problem somehow. After such poor customer service, a lot of businesses would offer the customer a discount. Not this place, instead they try to charge you double. I was offered a free detailing. I declined. read more

Do not waste your money, there is no warranty even if you keep up yearly sprays. The regional manager will run you around for years filing claims, taking photos and do nothing for you even if it is surface rust or rust through. We bought a used vehicle and we are now the the 2nd owner. The Zeibart warranty is transferable to the second owner. I called the location after our purchase, gave them the VIN and other information and was informed by Mike, that we were covered. We had the vehicle's annual service done within 60 days of purchase from a local Ford dealer. We had the vehicle serviced under the warranty as per the warranty instructions after we purchased the vehicle (twice: once last year and then recently). We also had some other items repaired under the warranty. When we had a rust claim, the management denied the claim because they said we were not under warranty. The vehicle was serviced and under precedent since they serviced the vehicle under the purchase agreement, they should have honored the claim, but they denied the claim. It was denied by. Their 'Rust Committee", whomever they were. The regional manager, Aaron, director of sales, found an excuse to not honor the warranty and we have now escalated this to corporate and to the court system...if they honor the repair, I will change my review. read more

I had my Mobile Locksmith Van undercoated a year ago December in Utica shop. Then had it resprayed in February at same shop. I live over an hour away and wanted Ziebart to do it so I checked all reviews and I found this was the best shop. They said drop it off at 8:00am and I could pick it up at 2:30. I got a call from the shop rep. at 12:20 and said the respray was done but there was a problem. He told me when they went to lower the Van the back end dropped down enough to raise the front and smashed the windshield into the I Beam supporting the ceiling. They claimed whoever came with the new windshield was the wrong one and couldn't do it until they next day. I asked how am I getting home? They replied we are going to rent you a car. I called back at 4:15 and was told there were no rentals available and that one of their employees would drive me home and come get me when the windshield was done. I got a call the next day at 10:15 and said it was done and would send someone to pick me up. They got to my house at12:30 and brought me back to my van. I asked that they compensate me a days pay because I work out of my Van where all my equipment is and lost jobs that were scheduled not to mention emergency lockouts I lost. The rep said he would have to have his manager Bruno from Syracuse call me, which he did not so I had to call him. He told me he would have to talk to his team about it. Still never called me back.So I called Utica location for four weeks and finally said it was out of his hands and Bruno would have to call me. After weeks of no call , I contacted the BBB. and filed a complaint. They offered me a Credit for $400 dollars for any service I wanted done. I said I would not step foot in any Ziebart location again and I wanted a check. The BBB said case was closed because of his offer. I passed on that offer afraid of getting any more damage and downtime. Bottom line is Bruno can not be trusted and don't GO THERE !!!! read more

I was looking to get my windows tinted and Ziebart seemed like the only place around. I thought they were supposed to be really good so I called to make an appointment. I needed to drop my car off the night before, but since their hours are listed as open until 5 I was going to just drop my keys in the key drop. I got there and saw that all the lights were on and people were inside, so I went in to give them my keys. What was supposed to be a 20 second key drop off turned into a 20 minute sales pitch for an undercoating and detailing package. I said I was not interested and finally managed to get out of there. The next day I was waiting for them to call to tell me my car was ready to be picked up and when I finally got a voicemail, it didn't say anything about whether or not it was ready, it just said to call them back. I called back, was put on hold, and disconnected. I called back again and the girl said she was busy and asked if she could call me back. All I wanted to know was if my car was ready!! She finally called back and for 15 minutes tried to sell me the undercoating/detailing package again. I kept saying no and she just wouldn't quit. They are incredibly pushy and try really hard to convince you that you need all kinds of extra services, even when you make it very clear you only want your windows done. The finished product is pretty good (i.e. the front windows match the back perfectly), but I'm not overly thrilled. There is a lot of bubbling that I hope will disappear on its own and there are some fingerprints as well. I had the windows of my previous car tinted at a place in Buffalo and the service and quality at Ziebart does not even come close to comparing to that place. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. Ran the truck down to what I thought were professionals. I just wanted to get the undercoating and rust inhibitors done so I could make it a year or two without my brand new truck turning into an upstate ny bucket of rust on wheels. I show up the following day and find that the entire side and girl of my truck are covered in over-spray. Nit just a spot here or there but a big fan of undercoating is now on my truck, which received a complementary wash. Who washed it without seeing this? I get it things happen people have bad days, so I decide to take it back to remedy the situation which they were happy to do. I also at this time decide I might as well get the rhino lining in the bed. While they correct the mistake they made prior. I describe in great detail and even show them that there are led lights in the bed, I ask with this be a problem? And am assured that no they do this all the time that they are more than capable of not getting the rhino on the lights..... ok. 24 hours later I come back. The paint is gone from the side of the truck. I get in it put it in reverse, back up camera totally black. I get out check it.... sprayed over. I then remember the light try them sprayed over... this is my company vehicle mind you so everyday spent here is a day without it. Not a small expense to not work a day or 3 now. I go over this and at this point begin to wonder why I paid professional money for an absolutely horrible job. I talk to a manager they assure me again that they will fix their mistakes and I feel that I need money back for the TERRIBLE performance and service they say they will discuss it with me the following day. Following day I show up and my truck is not complete there were "too many others ahead of me" i believe that at this point I would be a priority to maintain the professionalism of your business but I guess not. I ask about a refund they say they will give me a free interior cleaning.that just simply wasn't good enough. I ask to speak to the owner or a corporate manager and no numbers can be given to me. I ask who owns it they do not tell me but say that he doesn't live here. Well let me tell you. 4 months later and the undercoating is chipping right away. I never received my free touch-up and I'm out over $2000.00 for a job I coulda done in my back yard with two friends. Our car needed to have paint protection replaced after some bodywork was done. The body place paid to have the right side of the car redone. Traveling sales guy, more like a traveling pain in the ass said the gas door is considered a panel and a seam on the bumper is another panel. Commented that he could see which panels were repainted as they are obvious to the trained eye... so, now you are saying one of the top body shops did i bad job on our brand new car? Then he wasted our time pitching a new type of paint protection... well, only if its free! We said NO!... he just wouldn't shut up about it! Offered us coupons for $400.00 off if we agreed. Nope! No thanks... its only car wax and the job they did the first time was terrible. So if you want to pay a lot of money thinking paint protection is some kink of spray on amor think again. If I could give a negative star I would. As we walked away he just kept talking about how we are going to love the new type of paint protection! These people really know how to promote their business! Jam it down their throats! I will never stop telling EVERYONE about this... Then they called me five minutes before they closed asking if I was going to come get my car. I didn't even know it was ready because they never called with updates or even to tell me it was ready. Schedule an appointment one month in advanced for 8:00am on a Saturday to get my annual undercoating touched up. When I arrived at 7:50am, there was a line at the door of approximately 20 individuals. There was only one person checking people in at the front desk versus multiple people to get people in an out. When I got to the front of the line at 8:25 am, I was informed for the first time they needed the car all day. When I spoke to the sale representative when the appointment was made as well as the appointment reminder the day before, it was only go to take 2 hours at most. I had to cancel a couple appointments as a result. They did not apologize for this inconvenience of their service. read more

I purchased a full interior cleaning in celebration of my first job after college. I completely regret it and wish I spent the money on something else. My exuberantly high college loans necessitate I live a frugal life, so this was supposed to be an executional luxury. I told them before my appointment that I am meticulous with cleaning and gave them specific instructions how to clean my car mats. I always clean my car myself so I know what works best. I got the car back a couple hours early and yet it was not even completely clean. I don't even know where to begin....There was dog hair still in crevices in between both front seats and the middle console, and in the back cup holder. I have a Pontiac G5 two door and the back area above the back seats just below my back window wasn't cleaned AT ALL and there was some dust from driving with windows open and dog hair. Not to mention a couple of spots that they said would be shampooed. And to top it all off my car mats still had first on them after I literally told them how to do their job. I was so disappointed I was fighting not to cry because it was such a huge expense for me. After talking to them about it two people came out to my car and the man who cleaned it tried telling me that my car mats couldn't get cleaned. WHAT?.... I clean my car all the time so I know how my car cleans. They took it back and when I got it back..... STILL UNSATISFACTORY. Do NOT go to this Ziebart. My parents frequent the Rochester location so I know they can do better under better management. So disappointed...... I even waited a couple of days to write this so that it wouldn't be so... angry. You pay $326.00 for an inside and outside complete detail and then find dirt between the seats and grease and they say that it's okay. Not in my book. Not too much to ask that you get what you pay for and hold them accountable. And then to gave them say that if you want it done correctly, do it yourself. Nice after they have my $326.00. When I purchased the package, when I bought my car, I was told that it was under coated each year...well some snot nosed guy tells me now that it's only touch up each year. Terrible customer service, terrible post install customer care. Annoying phone calls to try to upsell other services. Deceptive pricing practices on remote starter pkgs. Remote starter they recommended and installed works only 25% of time, then tried to sell a more expensive unit as replacement Its 1 month old. All this after they rescheduled me 3 times then as apology offered a free detailing. Upon pickup it was dirtier than when I dropped it off! Go Elsewhere. !!! read more

I have had several car starters installed. Always had excellent service. Recently my son's jeep had an ignition recall and after the repair the starter did not work. Ziebart scheduled an appt. within a week. Had to rewire the whole thing and give me new key fabs. They were efficient, accommodating and very friendly. My review is that they did a poor job installing the EXPEL Paint protection film, which cost $1500, on my car so buyer beware. After reading the 9 negative reviews on the page- mine relates to all of them and is not any better- which boils down to- they did a crappy job and to try to get them to fix it right or to get your money back is futile. I did several attempts to try and work it out with them or get my money back and I know now it's going to be an uphill battle. read more

I brought my car in for a scheduled detail appointment on July 25. I arrived at 830 a.m. At 3:30 p.m. I received a call that the car was done. I went at 4. The manager walked me to the car and it had not been touched. He was very apologetic. (I had already paid $323) He first offered $50 off and then said I could have a future detailing free. I agreed. He said to come back in one hour and the car would be cleaned and ready. I came back at 5. The manager was not around. The car had not been cleaned thoroughly and the back seats/floor had not even been vacuumed. I have called many times, at least eight times, with no call back. I do not want a coupon for future poor service. I want a full refund. This is more than $300 for less than an hour's work. Worst service ever!! No quality or attention to detail. Took it in for a $299 detail. Work was not done. My entire front end was still covered in bugs,dirt etc.. Had to leave it another day. They also undercoated my vehicle with no authorization. The 2nd day resulted in a complete detail but also damage to my clear film on the front of my hood and bumper. Left for 3rd day to remove and replace the film. They again performed unauthorized work by removing all the film instead of the smaller damaged area. This new film application was done my a chimp! TERRIBLE REAPPLICATION.! It now has 10-15 bubbles from contaminated surface debris. Worse than before! The hood also needed to be brought to a "Professional" for removal of damage caused by their buffer or polisher.There is a circular scratch where the chimp used their tools in the most lame and abysmal manner. Just got back from yearly check up. I think a blind person inspected my truck. Frame rails did not get done rust showing. They did not do the hinges or the tailgate. Same as last year. A four year old could of done a better job. Very disappointed!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Took the truck in for an interior cleaning with a groupon. I made a reservation 15 days in advance and was led to believe it would take 2-3 hours. Upon arrival they were very busy and told me it would be 6-7 hours. When I got the truck back I wasn't impressed with the quality or attention to detail. A lot of areas were either missed or skipped. Should you be tempted to use one of their seemingly great deals, go whack yourself in the head with a hammer instead. It will hurt less. Got the Rhino liner and undercarriage treatment along with lots of other stuff. You have to go back each year for retreatment of some things to keep them "in warranty". When you do you will be barraged with attempts at upsells. I dropped it off for the retreatment the day before my appointment because they warned me it would take 6 hours to complete. The next day they were calling me in the early afternoon to tell me I needed some other stuff done but hey, they were all on sale! Later that day at their closing time they called to tell me it was done and to take my credit card number to leave me the keys to my truck so I could pick it up that night. Went to pick it up and the work was not done. Some of it was incomplete, some of it was not done at all, some was "shoddy", some was done that they told me they would not be doing. Return visit to get it all finished went no better. I was assured that all hands would be on deck to take care of me, but this didn't happen. What was promised to take 20 minutes before I got there, became a promise of 45 minutes to an hour once I was there but turned into 3-1/2 hours in reality and the work done was again shoddy, some of it looked like it was done by a 9 year old on his first try. Lesson learned. I'm getting a hammer for the next time I think of doing something like this. read more

BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY. I took my Tundra to the Ziebart on Hiawatha Blvd in Syracuse to get the exterior detailed. Ending up agreeing on the Diamond Coating after I was told it would be "no problem" to remove about a half dozen light scratches and scuff marks. Salesperson repeatedly told me that the clay bar would remove the scratches and scuff marks "NO PROBLEM". They also agreed to do touch up paint on some chips on the edges of the driver and passenger doors. I ended up picking it up at night after they had closed. When I inspected the work the next morning I discovered they had not removed any of the scratches or scuff marks and they had not done any of the touch up paint. I then went directly back to the business and showed the salesperson. He apologized and told me they would redo the entire job at no charge. Since I had paid in advance I felt I had no alternative, but to allow them to redo it. When I picked my truck up the next day, I was told they were unable to remove any of the scratches and scuff marks even though they had told me it would be "NO PROBLEM". They did touch up the chips on the driver's door, but not on the passenger's door. They also got residue from the diamond coating all over everything. There was white residue all over the trim. The residue was caked on so much on the inside edges of all four doors that it looked like they had sprayed it with white paint. I left feeling angry and frustrated that I had wasted two days and $700. It was an expensive lesson learned for me! I should have checked the reviews before I went to Ziebart. read more

Took my 2015 Caravan in for detailing. Car is only a few months old, but had a lot of long distance driving and I have a long haired dog, so wanted to spruce it back up. I dropped it off at 8:30 a.m. While there, I also asked about cleaning the outside. Some of the bug residue from the highway wasn't coming off easily. In addition to the inside detailing, I agreed to have the outside washed, 'triple' buffed and coated with their 5 year clear coat to avoid future problems with bugs, tree sap, bird droppings, etc. Total cost was over $300.00. They called about 3:00 and said my car was done and ready to be picked up. When I went to pick up the car at 5:00 p.m. , it was shining beautifully but.... the bugs were still on the grill and fenders - looks like they clear coated over them. The windshield was so streaked on the INSIDE that I couldn't see out of it. It looked like they used the same rag to clean the windows that they used to apply the armor all to the dashboard. My husband pointed out the problems and asked about quality control since we had overheard several other complaints from customers while waiting. She said that they do over 65 cars per day at that location so it is difficult to see everything. I had to wait another half hour for the two men to re-do the windows. One young man brought out a soapy sponge and scrubbed off some of the bug residue by hand. (why didn't the buffer on one of the alleged three passes get any of that?) My seat covers had been removed and I had to sit on plastic for the ride home because the drivers seat was wet from being shampooed I think. The passenger side was completely dry so I don't think it was shampooed. The other seats were also dry and had no plastic on them so I don't think they are shampooed either. It is now the next morning and I am still waiting for the drivers seat to dry so I can put the covers back on. I will not take my car there again for anything. I didn't get even close to what I paid for and the indifference from the staff was disheartening. read more

Bad experience during recent visit in February 2017. I had appointment for free annual rust inspection. I always don't like to go to Ziebart because sales are so annoying there and if you don't order additional service, you will be ignored. However, this time it was the worst visit for ever. At first, girl who checked odometer, didn't turn off car completely and battery was discharged. Service man told me that I have bad battery and need a new one. I answered that battery is a brand new and it is their fault. He apologized and car was jump started. When I got car back after service, I noticed horrible noise from underneath, then my car put back in garage and they showed that heat shield was broken and OF COURSE! it was accidentally and nobody even touched that during service. Then I found that rain shield on door is broken, but salesman was disgruntled and told me I have to ask my wife about it, because he inspected place in garage and there are no fragments of this shield on floor, (oh yeah, that's proof! ) and if I have claim I have to call a manger. Don't want to have any deal with Ziebart Syracuse anymore. read more

I've had my truck for 9 years & it still looks pretty good for its age. I have Line-X bed liners & they are superb! I just wished they can stop rust from starting on my tailgate, have tried several places to get it fixed but they all said there's not a whole lot they can do to stop the rust because of its design that all pick up trucks have & the alternate solution was to replace them with brand new ones even those are not guaranteed not to have rust issues. Overall I would say Ziebart did a pretty decent job of delivering the product to the vehicle for the sole purpose of stopping rust in its track. There is no choice for a half of star...that would be my choice. I took my truck for window tint. Dropped off on Thursday night They called me on Friday morning, at 9am, for permission to drive my truck to there Cicero store , because it didn't fit through the doors, it was never mentioned when I dropped it off. (Did they leave it outside all night?) I had a number on my cell phone, at 11am from someone I didn't recognize, it was an employee of theirs asking me questions about my truck.(Who else did they give my number too?) I asked where I would pick up my truck? He said he was back in Syracuse.(It only took an hour in Cicero to do my windows?) When I picked the truck up on Friday night and drove home I noticed a french door in the bed of my truck wrapped in a moving blanket ( NOT MY DOOR! EMPTY BED WHEN I DROPPED IT OFF. Used my truck as U-haul.) After a couple calls and several lies, I got no satisfaction. I drove down to Hiawatha and showed them and asked to talk to the owner, the manager said it was up to them, to take care of the customer. After showing them the door(in my truck), and asking why they couldn't tint my windows in the large door on the side of this building? I was told it was told, by a gentleman in a suit that stepped forward,(listened to the whole conversation, never apoligized or said it was their mistake) that it was none of my buisness and any further communication was to be done through our lawyers....handed me his card...Rich Lester..CEO Ziebart Syracuse...Great customer service sarts at the top. read more

I went there to get a simple undercoating, rhino lining, and window tinting, thinking that I've heard the name Ziebart before they must be a pretty decent company. Come to find out they're one of the worst company's I could of dealt with, Their sales people are very pushy, I went in to get those 3 things done and then they kept telling me you need to get this done, you need to get this done, I ended up spending way more than I wanted to for very little in return. The job is terribly sloppy, my protective film peels right off my truck without be touched. When i also had it undercoated they missed my rear hitch and under my spare tire. My biggest main concern is that the protective film that they installed by "trained professionals" they cut into my paint with razor blades like they cut it on my truck which anyone with a bit of common sense would know that, that is a bad idea. When i brought it up to them they said its sealed and you don't have to worry about it it will be fine, I tried telling them i wanted it fixed and they said they would look at it on my annual respray which I do not trust. I do not trust this company at all I feel like I'm dealing with crooks. I would not recommend this company to anyone at all. They couldn't get me to come back for free I had that bad of an experience. I have contacted Ziebart customer service and they told me that they will contact the franchise and see what they can do. I have also contacted the BBB to see what they can do. Update* They did repaint my truck but they repainted it wrong, come to find out 8 months later. I talked to two very well respected body shops in my area. They said the way this is painted is beyond screwed up they painted from the outside body line to the bottom of the door. The body shops I talked to said they should of went to the outside body line of the truck and then around to the inside of the door and up so the paint was connected. now at the bottom of my door the paint is gone because they decided not to paint it. I wouldn't go to Ziebart still if it was free. I stand by my previous review. So now my truck still has 1500 dollars worth of damage from the estimate i received from my body shop. read more

Watch out for fast talking sales associates. Had an appointment for a $700 detail package before I knew what hit me...employees will tell you what you want to hear, to get that sale. And in my case, they didn't come through on their end. read more

I bought the "Gold Package"...most extensive service package at the time. Included windshield protection coating, interior/trunk shampoo, exterior paint protection, detail, and rust-proof undercoat. This service was to be provided "ANNUALLY" for a period of "TEN" years..."NO ADDITIONAL FEE". To make a long story short...my initial service appointment, interior shampoo was not done. Every service appointment afterwards the only service I (might have) received was the "rust-proof undercoat". Always!!! at intake process they had an associate attempting to "sell" me the services that I'd "already" paid for in the initial contract agreement. I dealt with this "nonsense" for the next three years until they sent me an annual service reminder stating that the rust-proof undercoating...was a "free" service, as if they were doing me a "favor". Friendly sales associates at this establishment, but not as prompt with turnaround in service. I have been coming here for years and the service has definitely taken a turn for the worst. I made my appointment for service of my vehicles a week in advance, and explained the issues I was experiencing to the associate I spoke with on the phone. When I arrived to my appointment at 10:00am I spoke with another associate and explained the issue again. She then asked if I would be waiting for the car? I told her yes, she replied "we will expedite your service because your waiting".After 2 hours of waiting an associate approached me saying it was that battery in my remote. At this time I'm wondering how was my car serviced and I had been looking at it in their lot the entire time I was waiting. The tech then tells me he wasn't told what was wrong, so I explain the issue again, he then says "he will relay the message". After over 2hrs they take my car back and it's done within 10min. Over a 2hr wait in a freezing cold waiting room because of poor communication. read more

Over promised and way underdelivered. It had to of been the Worst "retail" experience I have had. First, they didn't have me on the schedule for the detailing that I asked for. I then asked them to check if wife's day and time was on their schedule, which I setup at the same time, that was a "NO". They did take my car and processed the paperwork, so I didn't think much of it. I wasn't upset at that time. I figured stuff happens, and they were good enough to put me on the schedule. So, when I arrived to pick up my vehicle at the end of the day I waited an additional hour past closing. When I checked my vehicle, a majority of the detailing wasn't done, i.e. shampooing the seats, buffing the chrome exterior parts, and other maintenance items included on the work order. So I reviewed the items with the sales associate and he brought it to the attention of the store manager, Mrs. Toole. The introduction of Mrs. Toole degraded the situation almost immediately. There was no attempt by her to rectify the issues at hand. She actually seemed to instagate things when she started making negative protagonistic comments on a personal level to me. I found this to be insulting as well as highly highly unprofessional. Due to this will never spend a red cent in that establishment again. Also, no of the issues were resolved. Lose, lose for me. I took my brand new car to ziebart in Syracuse only because I was referred to them by somebody who deals with them. Since day one I've had a problem with this company they are very careless with my car jobs that should have been simple were messed up for example they washed my car when I got it back it had white stuff all over they denied it was them of course however I know for a fact it was them because when I took it back to them for courtesy wash the same thing that was all over my car was left on my keys. Now most recent encounter with them deals with the protective film. I had the film put on this winter. Everywhere the film is its peeling or there is bubbles in the film and there is new bubbles popping up. I only shared a little bit of what I had to encounter. I can't speak for every Ziebart because I've only been to the one but save yourself the headache and pick somebody else. Currently having truck serviced with this company and am completely appalled by every aspect of the company. A job that they said would take under a week has now taken over two weeks and isnt even done yet! It gets worse. We saw the truck one day last week and the side mirror was BROKEN and the bumper was DENTED. We have been forced to pay out of pocket for rental cars. I have met with the manager multiple times over the last week and have requested to speak with the owner to resolve these issues and have constantly been given the run around. I have NEVER written a review on anything and feel so appalled, taken advantage of, deceived, and you name it -by Ziebart on Hiawatha blvd in syracuse that i have not only written this review but also contacted the Better Business Bureau and Ziebarts Corporate office (the corporate office btw has been extremely helpful this far) to have my complaints formally documented. No person or their property should be treated this way by a company. I not only DONT RECOMMEND ZIEBART on Hiawatha blvd i would highly suggest to friends and family to never trust their vehicle or money to that place or any franchise owned by that owner. read more

I purchased a brand new vehicle in 2015, I got the ziebart service through the dealer. This added $900.00 plus tax and financing. The dealer sent it to ziebart (syracuse,ny.) Had it undercoated and rust proofed? before i received delivery of the vehicle. As the first years inspection appointment neared i noticed a number of areas of rust on the under carriage and frame. I contacted ziebart corp. and syracuse store. I made it clear i was not at all happy about having rust after paying for rust proofing. At that point I was only interested in having my money refunded. The staff at the syracuse location said that they have a rust neutralizer that would remove any rust and then it would be re-sprayed. So i reluctantly agreed to give them a chance to correct it. When i picked it up it all looked good and appeared that they had done what was promised. But..... only a few months later all the same rust areas had returned along a number of others. The undercoating is flaking off rusted areas it would appear that last year they just sprayed over the rust. I would tell anyone who has had ziebart rust proofing done to get under your vehicle and check it if you haven't already. Now my 2nd years appointment is due, will not be keeping it. With the amount of rust under my vehicle at this point there is nothing to be gained by returning this year. I gave ziebart every opportunity to correct this last year. Now a year later i have even more rust then before. I have contact Ziebart corp. Made it clear the only contact i want from them is what i need to do to start the refund process, so far no response. read more

I had to take my car back four times in one year to have the remote starter fixed. Twice they sent me home because they said they had no record of my appointment when in fact I had called ahead and scheduled. They always try to up-sell you more products and services every time you go there. The workers in the front office are arrogant and condescending. The last time I went, they told me they had no record of my appointment when I made one the day before. I told them that this was the fifth time I'd had to come in to have the remote starter fixed and I wasn't going to come back again if they couldn't fix it. They couldn't care less. They had no desire to try and accommodate me in any way. This business can't be trusted. If you are looking for a similar service, look elsewhere because Ziebart does not care about their customers, just how much product and service they can push on you while you are there and then get you out the door. Ziebart has been one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. I strongly encourage you to find any other option! read more

This place is such a joke. They are a waste of money. Had my truck under coated and a rhino liner installed They got over spray all over my truck and took them almost 2 hours to get MOST of it off. Finally I paid for it and left. Brought it home and put it in the garage and noticed it was all over my windows still. They felt like sand paper. Being the windows were tinted I don't think the idiots could see the over spray. You had to feel it. So when this dump tells you that they give you a courtesy wash, its them spraying your car down with remove-all and rubbing the over spray off with a "shamy" I watched the kid do it with what looked like a kitchen sponge, sure that it has scratches all over in the clear coat. After showing them more over spray today I told them to give me a bottle of remove all and I would do it myself. I didn't want to put my $55g truck in their hands again. They told me they do 60 cars a day and on average 59 are happy with their shaddy work. Must be I was the 60 truck for the day. Being my truck was white it should be the easiest to see black over spray on it to clean off. I would hate to know the cars that are a darker color that drive outta there with spray all over them. Place is a dump with under qualified workers. I totally regret the under coating. The spray has runs and has drips hanging everywhere under the truck. looks like you gave a 9 year old kid a spray can! read more
