My vehicle left this place with exponentially more problems than it ever had going into it. I only found out recently unfortunately because I only now had REAL professionals look at my vehicle. They uncovered a shit trove of just...shit. INTERNAL damage to bumper, the type of damage you only get when trying to remove it. Wires unplugged, loose plugs/electronics, electronics in places they shouldn't have been, loose wires. When I first picked up my vehicle from Northside there were 2 indicator lights telling me "contact your dealer" collision indicator disabled, lane change indicator disabled, something like that. I didn't really care about these things, they had my vehicle for so damn long I was just happy to get it back. But little did I know, the vastness of problems that were lurking within. MY WHOLE ENGINE FAILED/DIED in July. They (Toyota not Northside) had to replace my whole Got damned engine on a brand new 2024 vehicle! So I had to give my vehicle away for another 2 months for this to occur. I along with Toyota can and are only now putting all of the pieces together, that it all started with Northside Collision. The Toyota mechanics took and sent me videos of all of the "SHIT" that was "Not Right At All". They were baffled and mind blown at what they were seeing. The damage and careless done by whoever worked on my vehicle ultimately led to my brand new vehicle DYING. My dealer is conducting an investigation and getting me all of the information that I need. And I will be requesting documentation of every single thing that Northside did to my vehicle. Even though this happened months ago, this is only the beginning... My wife had a small accident before Christmas and ended up having about $3K of damage to our Mercedes. We were not sure going to an auto body shop other than Romano because we get all our repair work done there. We decided to take a chance with Northside and honestly we are so glad we did! First of all, the new hood and repaint was a perfect match. We can't actually tell that the car was ever in a wreck. The people at Northside east Syraqcuse/Dewitt were very responsive, and seemed to really enjoy their jobs! (it's rare to find this so it's refreshing when it actually happens). Northside Collision at the Dewitt location I chose to have my car damage repaired at after researching different auto body shops in the area near my home, their shop inside and out was neat and organized,and the people I met were very helpful. I have used Northside Collision a couple of times. I have used them recently. I had repairs done about a month ago and have not had any issues. They explained everything to me and updated me on the repair work every few days. Their estimated time frame was spot on. I have used one other repair shop in the past and they were ok but I preferred Northside. I could not use Northside because they were not listed on an insurance company's list. I have only used the East Syracuse location so I can't speak for their other locations. They addressed all of my concerns, were friendly, and courteous. read more

Living in this area over 30 years, I have experienced several body shops, a couple of them either profited from insurance big chunk or seemed to keep my car in their shop indefinitely. Northside Collision offers fair and honest estimate. They are the most reliable auto body shop in terms of keeping customer informed of the progress during the repair. The entire process was much easier than I had expected. The staff is all very friendly and welcoming. They keep in touch with you while the repairs are being made to your vehicle. I never had to contact my insurance company at all after filing the initial claim. The loaner car was in perfect condition and performed wonderfully.
