I had my car windows tinted and an undercoat placed for winter protection by Ziebart. They did great work.

I have been taking both of my cars here for years and I have to say that I always pick them up looking brand new. If you are looking for a cheap clean this isn't the place to go but if you want it done right at a professional level and keep your car from being a rusty mess go in and talk to one of the sales team and I personally recommend Shane, Ian, and Pete. I was underwhelmed with the job they did on my minivan and likely won't return. Pros: great customer service by the manager Pete, prompt shuttle service, good deal on Yelp. Cons: I got what I paid for, pushy and apathetic customer service from Tim. I used a Yelp deal for a full interior and exterior detail. The manager Pete was awesome in making sure the guy I was working, Tim understood that I was to get the full shebang. Pete stepped in when he saw Tim trying to upsell me the undercoating. The shuttle service was great -- quick delivery and pick up and good drivers. However, the detailing itself was lacking and Tim could have cared less that I wasn't happy. Only 2 tires were cleaned with tire treatment; none of the carpet stains came up or were even lighter (NONE); and the dirty leather remained dirty leather. Tim tried to tell me that some 'tough' stains on the leather seats were from the carseats being there so long; I bought the car 4 days prior. When I pointed out that the carpets looked exactly the same his response was priceless: that you can just keep going back and forth over them and more dirt/stains will come up...aaand maybe I should bring the van back more frequently to get the stains up. Really? Why didn't you do that in the first place? Take away: I got what I paid for, and that was a significant mark down from market. There's no way I'd pay full price at $250+ for that. It was little more than running the car through the carwash and getting my carpets wet. read more

I Brought my FJ cruiser in for a quote on undercoating and had such a great experience I ended up purchasing a full package. As a business owner I appreciated every moment. Dan Fahy was great at answering all my questions and explaining everything about the products they use and he even brought me in back to see the operation. Quite impressive too. So disappointing. I spent over $300 and me and the salesperson was outside cleaning the vehicle, because they did not do a good job. After my car was there for over 4 hours, I was too exhausted to put up a fight. For one it was a lot of people, and I try to avoid confrontation. We spent 45 mins cleaning, the inside and outside of the car. "I was told they normally do this in the back" how about you ask to have someone re-do? I will NOT recommend this place to anyone. My car smelled like roach spray after, because of all the chemicals and after 2 days, White stuff appeared on my seats. Honestly, I feel like someone stole from me. This was my first time trying a full interior clean. Next time I will go to the dealer ship. read more

Sitting in the waiting room 1 1/2 hours after it was promised. All that was said about high pressure sales was right. I value a company on honesty not really working out here. Once I got the car I had a good discussion witah the owner and sales manager . This past Monday I took my 2007 Suzuki XL7 to Zeibart to get undercoating, rust proofing, and headlight restoration. I dropped my car off at 9:30 and had the shuttle take me to work and was scheduled to be picked up at 5 and I was told before I left I would recieve a call when my car was finished. When 5 came I still had not recieved a phone call and the shuttle was not there to pick me up. I know it is a busy time of day so I figured I would give the driver a lil while to get there. At 5:15 the shuttle had still not arrived so I called the office to find out where the shuttle was and they told me since they could not get in contact with me, as I had said before I had not received any phone calls and no voicemails were left, that they had canceled the shuttle service and it was shuttling someone else. They told me that once it returned they would send it to pick me up. Well that never happened, after waiting around at work for a lil over an hour I was finally able to get a ride there from one of my co workers. When i arrived I spoke to one of the supervisors about how I had been treated up to that point and he offered an apology and free windshield treatment which i excepted. When I was taken to my car I was asked how the headlight looked and said that there was no difference and was told by this person that that was the best it could look, i said it doesn't even look like they were touch, which honestly I dont think they were at that point. After that we went to get in the car to find that the circuit board to my car remote was missing. At this point I went back inside and spoke to the supervisor once again. They searched for the circuit board and could not find it, at that point I was told they would get a replacement remote from the Suzuki dealer down the road and was told I would receive a call the next day by 11 AM the next morning. 11 AM came and went and BIG SURPRISE no call from Zeibart. I waited around a while longer and finally drove out to Zeibart to find out what was going to be done about my remote. This time i spoke with the GM he told me that he could get a remote from Suzuki or put in a whole new autostart in. I asked if the autostart would have the same capabilities as my old one and if the new remotes would work along with my alarm and keyless entry. I was assured it would. At that time I also took him outside to show him the shoddy job that was "supposedly" done on the headlights and he agreed that they did not look good at all. At this point I was set up for another appointment on Thursday 4/23. After all this I was very concerned about all the work that had been done on my vehicle so on the 22nd when I had to take my car in to get some work done on it I asked the mechanic if he could tell if any rustproofing had been done on my vehicle and if the undercoating was applied correctly. He said there were no signs that it had been rustproofed but did say that the undercoating was done correctly. So it may not have been rustproofed. Anyways Thursday comes and I take my car in to get the new autostart put in and the headlights done again. Once again I caught the shuttle to work and said I may need it to get back. Well this time I did receive a call saying my vehicle was done and set up for the shuttle to pick me up at 5. The shuttle was a lil late but it was not a big issue. When I arrived at Zeibart I was told my car was completed and taken out to my vehicle and immediately noticed how much better the headlights looked and then I was shown how to start it using the remote. At this point I was happy. I drive home and lock my doors only to notice there was no beeping sound to let me know the doors were locked. I thought that was a lil weird, so I unlocked my car by hitting the button once to find out all the doors unlocked not just the drivers. Which means another one of the features is gone. So i thought to myself, let me test the alarm to make sure it works and the horn sounds. Well SURPRISE SURPRISE no sound only lights flashing. So once again I will be visiting Zeibart first thing to get my autostart/alarm/keyless entry fixed. If it can not be fixed I will be taking legal actions to have my factory system put back in by the Suzuki dealership. I Hope I dont have to go that route, but only time will tell. I am not at all happy with the service I've received to this point. I will be back to give an update. As of right now I would seriously advice people not to go to Zeibart of Henrietta. read more

I took the car to Ziebart's in Henrietta, NY. I have no idea why yelp thinks I am in San Francisco. Hopefully the work they actually did was of high quality. I haven't looked under my car to check. However, I was VERY upset with the *hard* sell they put me through. I took my car in because it was due for it's first yearly maintenance. I purchased a plan through the dealer when I bought the car last year for undercoating and rust proofing. 2 guys (one was Shane, who I think is the manager) spent 15 minutes trying to talk me into buying at least 2 more plans for my car at the 'low, discounted price' of up to $700. I literally said no at least 8 times. Finally I pointed out to them how many times I said no and that I wasn't going to spend $700 on a service I don't want. The other sales guy then had the balls to tell me that I may not 'want' that service, but I need it. If it would not have voided the warranty on the (very expensive) packages that were purchased last year though the dealer, I would have walked out and never come back (after less than 5 minutes). I already bought what I wanted for my car last year. I understand it is their job to try and up-sell. However, no still means NO. I really hope the situation was not exacerbated because I was a woman by myself in their business, but I don't know. It was ridiculous, unwarranted, and frankly, unprofessional. My 81 year old uncle, who is easily confused, went in to get his car undercoated. He thought he would pay a few hundred dollars. By the time they had finished browbeating him, he had been scammed for over $5,000 of services! When I went there to complain, I was treated well, but it was only lip service. I received a call from Tim, the General Manager (maybe) who was ever so cheerful, but just as dishonest as the sharks who took advantage of a defenseless elderly man. He tried to convince me that his salesman had tried to talk my uncle out of purchasing the expensive extras. I advise anyone, especially the elderly, to stay away from Ziebart! read more

Had a groupon to get windows tinted:never tell them you have a groupon, they will mysteriously be "booked" until the groupon expires. Called all 4 locations and they were booked based on the groupon. Called back and never mentioned a groupon, they got me in that morning. They told me it would take 4-5 hours. Called back and said I couldn't do it then, so they said it would take under an hour. Still sitting here 2 hours later. When I sat down for my consultation the man was extremely rude and assertive. He wouldn't take no for an answer when I told him I wasn't interested in the 400 dollar under coating. When I shut him down for the last time he left with my keys, told me he would be back to let me know if it was going to for sure be under an hour, but never saw him again. Very poor customer service. Don't put business on groupon, if you don't want the business. read more

Bought a Groupon for vehicle detailiing (Regular $270 discount to $90). Very disappointed with the quaility of thier work. Compartments were still dusty inside, seat supports had not been cleaned , grime remained on dashboard. Definitely not detailed - a half-hearted shampoo and wipe is more like it. Maybe a $20 job - sure as heck not $270! Later found my son had taken his BMW in and had the same poor result. Avoid these guys! read more

Great experience. I called on a Friday night to try and get two vehicles in for some window tinting and I was set up for an early morning appointment on Saturday. I could tell they were extremely busy Saturday but they were able to knock out the first vehicle in less than an hour, and the second a few hours later. Everyone complains about the up sales but isn't that their job? Yeah they tried selling me some services/products but I kindly declined and wasn't pressured any further. Purchased tinting groupon and as I had read in other places they use this to get you in the door and pressure for other services...to the point where my salesperson actually raised his voice and became visibly angry when I politely declined. Here is the real kicker though... They tinted the wrong windows on my car (was only supposed to do back windows but did front windows and am now stuck with this). Also an inconsistent experience as one salesman told a friend one thing and I was told another regarding tint groupon and added costs. Had that sick feeling of dealing with a shady car salesman the whole time I was there and will not be going back and steering people away from there as much as I can. Absolute subpar experience from the minute I walked in the door. Oh yeah...that lifetime warranty they advertise on their website as included with every tint job actually costs you another $100 bucks. Poor job with interior detailing and hand wash bought through Groupon. The Good - Shuttle service was great. Surprisingly, minimal upselling and no pressure sales tactics. Nice job cleaning the salt and dirt encrusted foor mat and carpeting. The Bad - Day one, four hours. Very poor attention to detail in cleaning the interior glass. Missed cleaning the trunk. Some how the hand wash missed cleaning the exterior mirrors and the area around the rear licence plate. Day two took it back and waited for an hour and a half. When the car was returned, the exterior mirrors and licence plate area were still not cleaned. I took the car and said I'd do it myself. There is a difinte lack of quality control at this place. I'm glad the service I purchased could be checked by me for completion. I would never get rust proofing or any other service there where I would have to rely on their word the job was done correctly. They can't even wash a car completely. Other Red Flags - I spoke with a manager to complain after I got home and had throughly inspected their work on day one. I was upset that I would have to bring the car back. The next morning I spoke with the same manager to arrange the time I could return and wait to have the work done correctly. Interestly, he did not, at first, remember my call to complain from the day before. He commented that he deals with so many complaining customers he can't remember one from another. At that momemt I knew I had made a mistake going to Ziebart. Also, in my discussions with this manager when we talked about the poor workmanship, I got a odd feeling. Granted this was just a feeling, nothing overt on his part. It was as if he was saying "You got this discount using a Groupon. What did you expect?" Like I sould expect second rate service because I used a Groupon. Please understand this is just the impression I took away from our conversation. Bottom line - I will not ever go to a Ziebart again. I will recommend to all to do the same. Addendum - Now just 90 minutes after I posted this review. Note: Just received a comment back from a Ziebart Customer Service person. See below. She is asking for a second chance which I gave yesterday when I brought the vehicle back to have the work done properly and where they failed. Also, the comment from Ziebart seems "canned" to me and came awfully quick. I think I've seen the same wording in response to other bad reviews. I don't think they fully read my review. Why would she ask for a second chance when I already gave it??? I don't think they can even get there apologies straight. My bottom line above still stands. read more

IF I could give NO STAR I would. THIS PLACE S U C K S. Their customer service S U C K S. Their detailng S U C K S. Save your money - if you have a 6 year old or monkey, they can do the same quality of work as this place! I had an appointment at 10am on a Tuesday. I dropped off at 9:30am and was told I could pick it up at 4pm. I was having the inside detailed/cleaned. I got there at 4pm with my 2-year old and they HADN'T EVEN STARTED MY CAR YET!! They said it would be ready by 530pm. I had to sit and wait with a 2 year old. At 530 it still wasn't done! They finally pulled out my car at 5:55, closing at 6pm I believe. The back seats weren't cleaned, it was barely vacuumed and dirt was very visible on floor. The rear view mirrow wasn't touched - had finger prints all over it. The windows weren't cleaned. The dash was barely touched, but the dirt on the glove box was still there. The center console wasn't touched AT ALL!! My husband complained to the manager and was "given" what he claimed to be $100 package to RainX the windsheild. Whoopee. I can get that at a handsfree car wash! Unreal. SAVE YOUR MONEY. GO TO DELTA SONIC HIRE A MONKEY! This is the 2nd time in 2 years I have been there .. same results; not ready when it was supposed to be after leaving the car ALL DAY, half-ass work, poor customer service, RIP OFF, WASTE of TIME! read more

I am a very happy and satisfied customer. I recently (over the weekend) had some work done on my car which is 2007 Chrysler Sebring. They always try to upsale their product. This visit will be my last one with Ziebart. The price I paid for diamond coating was $299 for 2012 Acura TL in 2014, and one of my friend paid $399 for 2014 Subaru BRZ in 2014. Actually, I paid my previous car at $250 in MI. They will say that I will give you special price from our regular price which is $499. do not trust them. Free lifetime renewal sounds like good deal, but you will realize it is nothing when you visit them after 1 year. LOL I have dashcam, and I reviewed what they did. It was just hand car wash. I do not understand why they asked me to drop off like 5 hours (they said that the renewal process will take 3~4 hours) for the JUST 10 minute car wash. read more

I went for my 1 year warranty for the undercoating spray and paint diamond polish application. Have to say DO NOT like the sales hounding. OMG, you make an appointment for sevice that is mandatory and they try to sell you the farm. I have to say I did cave on one service...won't get again...but when I said no to a $2,000 service...like I have that kind of money to spend....the service guy called not 20 minutes later to get me to buy the same servive at 60% off the salesman price. I missed my annual undercoating check at Ziebart (Lyell Ave.). I had the flu. So when I finally went in I had it redone along with some body work. The process would take the week. My car was brought to a local body shop (its a mystery). I received my car and it was filthy inside. They never cleaned it after doing the body work. My interior was full of fiberglass dust. They told me when I was to bring the car back in to get the paint work buffed out that they would do a complimentary interior clean. I made my appt(they told me to wait 4 weeks). 2 days prior to bringing the car in we were removing my personal effects from my car and my husband noticed that 3 out of the 4 repair areas were bubbling up; in fact one area showed a square patch under the paint work. I brought the car in and they took pictures. Branden tells me to bring the car in on my scheduled time and it will be repaired in 1 1/2 days. I was quite insistent that I knew a repair and repaint could not be done in a day and 1/2 . So I was told to bring it in this past Monday. 2 days later(today) they call and tell me that the car can not be repaired without replacing the whole 1/4 panel. I was charged $1500 and have had my car held hostage for more that 7 days now. I believe I am due a refund or the work done properly. I went in to get a car starter installed. They said it would take usually about 6 hours, so we had an appt for 9am. I received no phone call by 4pm so I called in to check on the progress. I was assured they were putting it back together and finishing up so it should be about 10-15 mins longer. I told the man I worked til 5 and would be in then to pick it up. He then assured me that it would be done and ready to go. I arrived at the location on W Henrietta rd at 5:10pm and was told they would be right out. After 10 mins of waiting they came out and said we are sorry but we are just finishing now so give us 5 mins. I was already told this over an hour ago. So 30 mins go by and nothing happens. The lady at the front desk who was very nice came over and said we are sorry it will be just another 5 mins. I started to get furious but didn't react. After 8 mins the tech from the back came up and the girl asked what was taking so long and he laughed then said i forgot all about it. He said this out loud on the floor where I could hear it. This point it is after 6pm, two hours after I was told it was already done. We finally got called back and the rep didn't even know how to use the device that we were sold and had to go get help on how to operate it. Needless to say we left very upset. The next morning (this morning) I took my car into another shop in Henrietta which is great (Macs 2) where another man told me he had a car starter installed at the same ziebart location on the same day as me (yesterday). His appt was at 3pm and his girlfriend was driving out of the shop at 5pm. She came in 6 hours later than me and left and hour earlier. Horrible customer service, I will never go back nor will I recommend the company to anyone. read more

I had the worst experience possible at ziebar on Henrietta Road.I got my radio upgraded after the salesman continually hounded me about it I had to go there over 20 times to have the radio checked. The first time the radio did not work the stream kept going black and I was on the highway and all of a sudden my heat came on when it was 90 degrees outside I'm driving with the windows down because it was so hot stop and let the truck cooled off finally the Heat and radio came back on. I reported it to the manager Craig Thomas which he apologized and offered me $100 for my pain and suffering after 3 months the radio still did not work correctly it stop my windshield wipers from working. I ended up taking the truck back to the Dodge dealer they kept it for another 16 days had to replace everything at the end of this experience I had to have my old radio put back into my vehicle in order for my windshield wipers and everything else to work correctly. I returned to Ziebart and again spoke to the manager Craig which he offered me a refund in the process of giving me a refund he let me know that he would have to take that $100 that he gave me for my pain and suffering back.He had no remorse had no customer service and was very rude and unkind to me I would never return to this location and would not recommend to nobody go there they are full of crap I went there so much the ladies at the desk thought I worked there everybody knows me by name even the shuttle bus driver when he sees me he said not again. so I'm just leaving this review to let you know that do not go to this ziebart they do not give good customer service they will give you a reward for your pain and suffering and take it back at the end.This was the only way I was able to get a refund .I am completely done with them I would never go to this location again read more

Not only was everyone friendly, but I felt like I walked out in a win/win situation of what I wanted and what I got. The detail of the plastic protection coating, when finished, is amazing. The skills that these individuals have in making the precision of the lines meet was shocking. I dropped my car to have Interior Detailing done. I was told all of the items that were included and were going to be done, however, only half of it was done. For 109 dollars it's totally not worth it. I could have done a better job myself. Plus on top of it, they had my car the entire day to accomplish this. Very disappointed in the service I recieved. I have taken my car to Ziebart for several services over the past two years. It always amazes me how you can leave your car there ALL DAY or they give you a designated completion time and it is NEVER ready on time. My recommendation, if you have somewhere to be, don't take your car to Ziebart that day. I agree with other reviewer, the sales tactics are very high pressure. read more

I can't say enough good about Ziebart! Shane helped me with the purchase of Remote starters for Christmas gifts. His service was courteous, friendly and prompt. All the paperwork was ready when I arrived and he made the transaction seamless. This is the second time I have been to Ziebart, and my first transaction was with Brendon. I came here for a remote starter and a window tint. They were able to match another competitor's price for the remote start which was nice. The whole thing took about 5 hours. I was offered a shuttle to anywhere I wanted to go. I ended up waiting in their customer lounge and going across the street to Duff's for lunch. The lounge was comfortable with TV, wifi, and beverages. Once my car was done they showed me how to use the remote start. The window tint looked perfect. I would recommend Ziebart to friends/family and I have already done so. Will return in the future. read more

I do not know why Zeibart Rochester is still doing business. They rip off customers with brain eating sales managers. Their services are outrageously priced for manipulation. I bought a diamond gloss for $599 and they washed my car clean and gave it back to me . That's it . It's nothing more than a car wash. read more

I recently purchased a GMC sierra and got the diamond package which is 1200.00 . I was warned by 2 friends that had previously had there cars services at the Henrietta facility. Me thinking it was an isolated incident i went a head and got it done. Boy i should have listen to them. The work and service was as bad as i had ever seen any business that i had deal with. When they under coated my truck i got over spray on my paint and windows. When i got home and park the car i suddenly seen heavy smoke coming out of my engine. They over spray was much that til this day i can smell burnt undercoating. When they did the diamond gloss coated they told me for 200.00 more they can get rid of my scratchsand dents. I ended up with more scratches. When i got in my car i open the door and look down and see the floor mat was dirty the serivce person apologized and said my shoe were dirty sorry and once thought to clean my floor mat. Just i was warned not to go their i am telling any to stay away they are horrible they just try to make you spend more money. read more

Took my 2015 truck for my end of the year undercoating and purchased the Detail Package at the cost of 299.00 . They had my truck from 0830 till 0430. When I returned to pick it up there was mud in my wheel wells, no shine on my tires, my interior which was to have been leather cleaned and contioned was not done. They did shampoo my carpet. When I told them I was not happy , they wanted to have it redone then or make a new appt. needless to say I did not make an appt or pay for the half ass work. If I was you I would go else were, I feel sorry for you he people the they get over on. Will never due business with them ever again!! read more
