Ziebart deserves credit for consistency: every time I've brought my car in for the routine undercoat renewal that I agreed to buy in a moment of weakness when I purchased the car, the customer service rep tenaciously latches on in an effort to convince me that I really need their many over-priced, unnecessary add-on services (and all for "only" $$$$). It makes the interaction unpleasant, made worse by long waits for the shuttle. If they would put as much energy into making their process more efficient as they do into selling unwanted services, their customers would be a lot happier. read more

I received a phone from Peter yesterday. Peter assured me that my warranty was perfectly fine and would absolutely be recognized. He was very apologetic and went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied. Obviously the reputation of Ziebart is very important to him and he wants to be sure that things are done the right way! I really appreviated his dedication to costumer satisfaction. I am once again a Ziebart fan! read more

This Ziebart location has terrible customer service. I dropped my truck off at the designated time to get the Z-Shield Paint Protection Film applied to my hood and fender tips. Because Ziebart needed my truck for the majority of the day, I chose to use their shuttle service to get to and from work, a 3.5 mile drive. Knowing that I had a previous commitment to attend to at 6:00 pm that night, I requested to be picked up from work at 4:30 pm, figuring an hour and a half would provide enough leeway to allow for a late pickup, traffic, etc. and still allow me to make my appointment on time. Long story short, the shuttle never picked me up until after 6:30 pm, over 2 hours later than the time I requested!! I can totally understand being picked up 15-20 minutes late as it is a free shuttle service, but 2 hours?! To make matters worse, I called the Ziebart location at 5 pm (30 min after my scheduled pickup time) to see where the shuttle was and was told that he was on his way to pick me up but may have run into traffic. 5:30 pm came and went so I called Ziebart again at which time the same person told me he had just left and would be to my pickup location shortly. 6:00 pm came and went along with another frustrated call to Ziebart when I was told the same thing yet again. Rather than be lied to about when the shuttle would arrive, I would have preferred being told the truth so I could have made other arrangements; I could have even walked from my work to the location quicker than the shuttle was able to pick me up but because I was continuously told he was on his way, I chose not to walk. Thanks to Ziebart, I missed my appointment by a long shot. In addition to the poor customer service, I was told by my sales representative that the Z-Shield could not be seen by the plain eye unless you were inches away which is another total lie. I am able to see the edges of this film from 10-20 feet away as I walk toward my truck. I do not recommend getting this service as it is a complete eye sore on your vehicle regardless of what Ziebart tells you. All in all, I will not be returning to Ziebart for future service as they wasted my time and money and made no attempt to rectify the issues that I dealt with. read more

quality was good but they try to up-sell using deceptive practices. They called me and said there was a special office just that day (I was scheduled to come in for a car starter in a few days and they had done a rust proofing when I purchased the car a few moths earlier). All they really wanted was to make a pitch for other services and then they lied by saying a credit app for their services would be a soft hit when it was really a hard hit on my credit report- the exact thing I told them ahead of time that I did not want. Two lies. Then when I got the car starter put in it works but does not always show it is on through the lights. I would not go to them for other services- just could not trust them. read more

I had my windows tinted Pete was very helpful with the entire process, all went well.... : )

Took my 2015 truck for my end of the year undercoating and purchased the Detail Package at the cost of 299.00 . They had my truck from 0830 till 0430. When I returned to pick it up there was mud in my wheel wells, no shine on my tires, my interior which was to have been leather cleaned and contioned was not done. They did shampoo my carpet. When I told them I was not happy , they wanted to have it redone then or make a new appt. needless to say I did not make an appt or pay for the half ass work. If I was you I would go else were, I feel sorry for you he people the they get over on. Will never due business with them ever again!! read more

Love this place!! They did an awesome job on my interior detail. My car is a 2009 and I have never had a professional detail done. After Ziebart in Henrietta was done with it, it looked like a brand new car! The staff was friendly and accommodating. I 100% recommend them. read more

Brandon called and offered to detail both of our vehicles free of charge. Dropped the off at 8:30 am and they were done by 1. Very surprised they called and tried to make it right . read more

I recently purchased a GMC sierra and got the diamond package which is 1200.00 . I was warned by 2 friends that had previously had there cars services at the Henrietta facility. Me thinking it was an isolated incident i went a head and got it done. Boy i should have listen to them. The work and service was as bad as i had ever seen any business that i had deal with. When they under coated my truck i got over spray on my paint and windows. When i got home and park the car i suddenly seen heavy smoke coming out of my engine. They over spray was much that til this day i can smell burnt undercoating. When they did the diamond gloss coated they told me for 200.00 more they can get rid of my scratchsand dents. I ended up with more scratches. When i got in my car i open the door and look down and see the floor mat was dirty the serivce person apologized and said my shoe were dirty sorry and once thought to clean my floor mat. Just i was warned not to go their i am telling any to stay away they are horrible they just try to make you spend more money. read more

Pete Chapin was my sales point person. He met me at the door and listened to my requests. He promptly shared solid information based on our conversation and showed me how my car will benefit from the undercoating. He was very professional as well as his team. The work was done in the time frame he told me and the work was done well. I highly recommend this location and company. I will definetly use their services again! read more

I had to go back again today, this time to the Lyell store because I decided to get my windows tinted and the Lyell store had more appointment times available . Again, I had a great experience. They explained different shade options, the pricing was good and I was able to get it done fast. it was GREAT! read more

The staff was all very friendly and courteous. They did a great job on my truck. I will gladly refer others to Ziebart without hesitation.

Zeibart had my car for 2 days for a simple interior detailing job and when I arrived on the evening of the 2nd day with all my children in tow, the car WAS STILL NOT DONE! The employees tried to tell me it was done, but that it just wasn't washed and I had to go inside to get a supervisor who agreed the car had not been touched yet. I waited, with my children, for 2 1/2 more hours (until 8pm) for my car to get detailed - something that was scheduled to happen an entire day earlier! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ZEIBART even if getting a deal through Groupon! read more

I had the Rhino liner sprayed in the bed and tail gate with the top rails done also. When it came to the first year for it's yearly check on it they did a touch up that was so bad people that saw it said they never take there trucks there. this year again it was time for it's yearly check and when I got it back this time even worse then before.also to the sale man manger looked at it and said to me that that's the way they patch it and I said is there anything they could do to respray it and he said if I buy another package for my truck he do it for free. Hate to say Rhino liner as a lifetime warranty on it. So I'll never take my truck back to them for any work to be done on my truck or car they will rip you off. read more

I purchased two detail packages through Amazon for Ziebart--buyer beware. Wish I had read the previous reviews before. All I spoke to at Ziebart were nasty about Amazon--as though I were cheating them for taking advantage of their promotion! Once I scheduled the appointments the high pressure sales tactics began--like buying a car in 1980--obnoxious and obvious. The sales person slammed delta sonic--while I lamented not having gone to them. The "detail" was a high priced car wash--the dash and seats weren't touched--they weren't part of the "promotion"--why they kept my car for 6 hours I do not know. Nasty, unethical, disappointing. Stay away! read more

I had a groupon for an express doll up at the Canandaigua store. When I arrived I asked for a more thorough doll up that would include cleaning all the hard surfaces inside as well as shampooing the carpet in my SUV. They upgraded the doll up for the groupon price of $99.00. They did try to upsell me several other services but I declined and they didn't continue with a hard sell. When I picked my car up later that day, I was amazed by the great job they did. The car was almost immaculate inside. We have 2 large dogs so there was a lot of dog hair, mud and drool but it was all completely gone. In total, the doll up cost me $135 and it was well worth it. I highly recommend them to anyone liiking for a doll up. read more

I went to this location to get my car tinted, they did a very nice job with the window tint. However I was not impressed with their sales man. They were not only pushy but down right rude when I declined the 2,000 service they suggested I purchase. If I ever need my windows tinted I will be going els were. They should be happy I chose to come there at all instead of being hostel after I refused other work. read more

Just picked up my truck. It was there to recoat the DiamondGloss sealant after a small fender bender involving the rear quarter panel and tailgate which the insurance company paid for along with the undercoat. Lo an behold THEY RUBBED IT OUT AND RECOATED THE WHOLE TRUCK!!! It looks amazing! I would give 6 stars if they were there to give. The truck was ready when they said it would be. I will return for future service. read more

took my truck in for the yearly checkup as I had purchased the ziebart premium package when i purchased the truck brand new in 2013. the sales people always try to upsell more stuff than what you are there for. the yearly checkup with the premium package is suppose to include checking the rust proofing, reapply diamond gloss as needed and scotchguard and vacuum the interior. the interior was never touched. what else did they NOT do that they were suppose to? read more

This past week I was offered the opportunity to change my mind about swearing off Zeibart forever. I left a fairly snarky review after a very dissatisfying experience. I was contacted about my experience and Ann explained that they were under new ownership and wanted to make things right. I was hesitant at first but connected with Sr. VP Zach Mattiacio and we went from there. Ziebart re-did the original detail and really did a spectacular job. Mike Exford and Zach Parsons detailed the interior and exterior to perfection. It looked brand new! I was offered a car while mine was being taken care of and Zach went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. He followed up the following day with a personal email. I was really impressed with the work that was completed, the customer service and my overall experience. Zeibart did change my mind. Now the true test is if they can make every customer this happy the first time. read more

went in for my free yearly touch up. great service friendly staff and free shuttle which makes dropping off my vehicle much easier. my service advisor even gave me a great deal on an interior detail that I had them do. thanks ziebart see ya next year! read more

Not a good experience! Let's start with the 7:45am call to confirm a 9 o'clockish pickup of my car, next me having to call them at 9:45am to find out if they will be there soon and being told that the driver was still at a important Dodge dealership (don't think Garber Honda will be happy to hear this) and would have to wait till noon with no apology. while on the phone with the Garber Honda, my phone rang it was the owner calling to apologize and to let me know someone was on the way. 10:45am my phone rings and its Chris from Ziebart telling me I have to come outside, my doorbell does work. Chris and his partner both wearing grease cover Cartharts and the partner smoking look over the car, Chris gets in and while the car was warming up Chris decided to pick his teeth and check his gums. The final insult comes after they were done with all the services, was to have the dealership call me to let me know they don't have a remote car starter for my car. Which was the free gift for getting the whole package. Thanks For nothing Ziebart! read more

The undercoating Ziebart does is NOT good for your car. It's been 4 years since I had this done to a clean new car. All kinds of moisture and condensation have gotten into this hard rubberized cheap junk. When I pick off the bubbles, there is rust!!! This is why they make you go back every year to keep your lifetime warranty. It has to always be covered up. The problem is that moisture gets in there and is now trapped!!! When I asked my mechanic he said never to apply anything that hardens like that. He also said never buy a used car that has this stuff sprayed on. Most people never notice the damage because they go in every year for over spray. The rust is always covered up. I never went back because they botched a car alarm install and scratched and dinged my car when doing this diamond gloss waxing. They told me that would last the lifetime of the car and a year later it wore off. It's just a cheap polymer wax. read more

I have to say that the new ownership I keep seeing in these reviews is a joke. I have been there to have my 1 week old truck under coated since this new ownership, which has rust in many areas showing through I am starting to now notice. I am not sure I like the idea that rust is evident under the coating and will only be coated over during it's annual maintenance to allow the rust to do it's thing under the coating and show up months later to be covered up again. The under coating is not inhibiting anything. Rust keeps showing up more and more in different places after each re coat as time passes. We all got new cars and I took my sons car and my wife's in the same time frame as my truck with the same results now. They too have rust showing in many areas that were not there prior to the under coating. That's the worst part. It is new rust. Completely defeats the purpose of the undercoating. You have to do the maintenance to keep the warranty. Well fix my rust on all my vehicles that wasn't there before the coating? I also had a detail done on my wife's car. Sales people will not let you answer "NO" and keep asking and discounting and asking till you get almost angry. Mind you this detail was done before I noticed rust this spring on my truck and looked at the other vehicles in the driveway to see them doing it too. So I succumb to having the detail done. What a joke. I came to pick up to see the interior was never vacuumed at all and the paint was not waxed or buffed. Same bird poo on hood it came in with so they didn't even wash it well. What? I can read the menu on wall and it explains what is to be done with the package I was sold and verbally told what would be done. Vacuuming must be done to steam or shampoo, so that wasn't done either. They haphazardly washed it for $300. I had to come back 2 yes 2 more freakin times to have the job done right cause it would be closing time when I would come to pick up, per their request. Nice tactic. Those folks never offered a refund or anything after 3 trips for a job that never really was completed. Charged full price for a job not done to completion. I just didn't want to deal with it anymore and hold peoples hands to do the job. The back and forth thing was chewing thru gas too. The employees up front seem to be set on numb emotionally. Sell, sell, sell, no compassion for their own screw ups. I was unemployed at the time and tell them that and they keep trying to up sell anyway. I got their credit card to make payment to afford it and paid it off in 6 months. I am only there to keep a warranty valid mind you. A warranty I now question cause things are rusting. I will never do this again to any other cars. They got 3 out of me and that is it. I know no one held a gun to my head to open credit with them, but they are relentless. You finally agree and you can finally leave too allow the work to commence and the feeling of having your ride looked after well feels like it is dictated by the up sell outcome. No sale, well I will take your keys and not tell you good day or anything. Sales folk just walk away while I sit in office waiting. No closure, but now if you purchase an up sell they are extra nice and cheery and walk you out the door and tell you to have a nice day ect.. Big difference. New owners must have been trained by the old ones or it is also a tactic? read more

I had purchased the zebart undrcoating package when I bought my vehicle. I some how got scheduled at the Lyell location vs the Henrietta location. When I got there I was interested in purchasing the hood protectant against chipping. When I was brought back to talk to someone they informed me that the bery front part of the hood costs extra. I thought this was rediculous but decided to buy it because I do a lot of highway driving. I told them I only wanted this done if they could touch up the chips that were there before placing the film over it. Well they later called me to inform me that they had placed more products on the car and made it sound like they were doing things for free and the bill might look like it was charged because of the way they have to break it down. Well when I got thre everything was rushed because they were closing so I did not have time to look carfully at the car and rushed through signing the paperwork. Come to find out the protectant they put on the side of the car doesnt even come up to the quarter pannel so you can see a line across the car! Then come to find out nothing was free and the bill was outragous. The worst part about it is that they didn't tell me they were putting it on a credit card, not through them. So now I'm in a rush to try to pay it off before the heavy intrest rates apply. I'm very unhappy with the way they fanagled everything over the phone and the lack of important information like the fact they were running it through a credit agency. Not to mention the touch up job is very noticable underneath the film. read more

I purchased a window tint groupon on 4/11/2014. I called shortly after to schedule the appointment. I dropped the car off in the morning and picked it up in the evening. After being signed out and not told anything was wrong I got into the car and noticed that the interior door handle trim was missing. I immediately asked the tech who had driven the car out as he was walking away from me what had happened. He went and got a supervisor named Nick who informed me it was damaged in the process and that they would order a new one. I called and stopped in several times in the next few weeks asking the status of the piece. First they had ordered the wrong color, then they would have it painted, then Nick had even said he would personally deliver and install the piece at my residence. None of this ever happened. I called back months later and I was informed he no longer works there and that they would look into it. I never received a phone call. The outside door handle also happen to break off a few days after I got the car back but I since replaced that myself. I would never recommend anyone go to Ziebart. It was an absolute nightmare and I will never go back. read more

Had a Groupon for detailing including an interior clean, exterior wash and tire dressing. Scheduled the appointment and arrived for the 11:30 time. The rep, Chris, tried to sell us on under coating, diamond waxes, etc. I said we only wanted the package. After looking at the keys for the Lexus we brought in, he said he had a special on remote starters. The hard sell was the first put off. After coming back to pick up the car at 6:15pm. I noticed the exterior wash was nothing less than terrible. A church car wash would have been better. After he opened the door I notice the cup holders were still dirty, under the seats were still dirty, area between the two back seats was never cleaned, basicallly not worth the $80 we paid for the Groupon. When I pointed this out to Chris he said he would take it back and have them fix it. Why would he think that after having the car for more than 6 hours I wanted to wait for them to correct what they should have done first. Should have offered a refund. Not sure where the good reviews come from (maybe employees?) because they are terrible. Chris said they are the biggest in the country, definitely the worst. They blew it with my first and last visit. I will be sure to tell everyone I know to NOT go there. read more

Customer service was terrible. I made a purchase over the phone and was told to come in for a gift card and ask for my associate which I did . Went in 15 minutes later and waited 45 minutes and after being the last customer in the store, I eventually had to ask the girl to even receive it. The girls at the front desk were more worried about texting on their phones than they were about what I needed, she didn't even relay a message that I was there. The salesman who I spoke and made the sale with didn't even have the courtesy to come and deliver the card to me. Everything was bought and paid for it should have been a 5 minute stop at most to walk in and pic up an envelope and be on my way to tend to my two children but instead I was stuck waiting for a simple pick up. The installation isn't even done yet and I already have a a bad taste in my mouth. The installation better be beyond superb. read more

I had an apt to have my new car picked up @ nine am for undecoating at the lyell ave store. The car got picked up @ 9:45 am I was told it takes a few hours. @ 3:45 my car was still not back so I called and they said they were on the way. I was looking out the window for them and saw them drive by my house about 10 houses away they put my car in reverse and drove it backward all the way to the driveway. I went out to check the car out I noticed a big stain on the driver seat bottom and back part.I asked about this and the man said we hooked you up and put fabric protector on all the seats. I noticed that my grandkids car seat was untouched and smelled the seats nothing was there. I said what is this stain he said fabric coat that is still wet.I called the manager of the store and told him I want the seat to be looked at. He said that the kid working on my car got undercoating on the seat and tried to clean it off. And they did not fabric coat my seats. I requested written documentation and he said no I dont need any thing and the stain will dry and be gone. I insisted on written documentation I finally got it. I bought my new car 2011 next to Ziebart Henrietta and per advised of my car dealer I took lifetime gold warranty from Ziebart to protect my car against salts, birds (pxx) etc. I did ask Ziebart , in case I moved to another place or to any out-of-state; do I have problem in honoring my lifetime gold warranty? Without hesitation (I forgot his name and his reputation) `YES` as long as in mainland US , you will have no problem at ALL ! So I took it, paid close to $1,500. Every year, I went there to do the lifetime warranty, but after 4 years I moved to Michigan, I brought my lifetime gold warranty to Ziebart in Michigan; SADLY they are not honoring any lifetime warranty nor to any Ziebart place in Michigan . I called the Manager at Henrietta , he promised to call me back until now after a month no calls from HIM! So guys out there please be very careful to these GUYS! in Ziebart or to any Ziebart offices. CAREFUL to what they are selling! read more

I drop off my car on Wednesday late afternoon for service on Thursday. The girl at the desk could not find my paperwork or scheduled appointment for the next day. Finally someone got me checked in and on my way. I called Thursday at 2pm to see if my car was completed. The guy who answered could not find anything related to my car and asked me "did you being it to the Henrietta location". After a couple more minutes he located my car and paperwork and said it's all set. I showed up at 245pm to pick up my car. The girl gave one of the guys my keys and he said I will bring it around. He than walked into an office and chatted with someone for the next 10 minutes. At 3pm I got my car and there was a plastic up in the center console left behind from the service area. Nice of them to drink in my car. Best part is that my interior had not been addressed. Service rep said give us 15 minutes to get the interior handled, he was also nice enough to take the plastic cup out of my car. 30 minutes later I finally got my car and checked it over. In the rear of my SUV was some kind of cleaning stone that they had left behind...Good news the car was finally completed and I could be on my way. The service rep did state that he added to my account a free interior detailing due to the delays and issues. Nice of him but I much rather would have received good customer service during the entire process. What a disappointing experience! read more
