Every time I'm going there to get my eyebrow or full face done, they cut my skin even though I let them know before that my skin is so sensitive. Please be gentle and don't do fast so yesterday I went to get my full face done with the lady, she was working at the first chair and I told her that my skin so sensitive and I want to get full face and nobody was there when she started at the first she cut all my cheeks why should I pay $42 dollars for full face and $10 for tips and she cuts all my cheeks and left so much hair in my face . read more

Zia Threading's new location has a better parking situation than their old location. Aside from the better parking situation, this new location is great because Zia is now in the La Reina building with restaurants, bakeries and a legit coffee shop in the same building. Also, there are several other businesses within walking distance so you can do more errands. The lady who threaded my eyebrows took great care to line and clean up the edge line. Also had my legs waxed, while I was there and there were NO INGROWNS! Win win win! read more

I went to Zia years ago. Before Covid actually. I remember i liked them for a bit but the reason I stop going was because one day I decided to be a walk in and there was only one lady assisting the place. I sat down patiently waiting for the lady to ask me or tell me anything. Not even a hello. It wasn't until 10 minute later, she finally decides to tell me that she is very busy and it was said pretty rudely. I didn't say a word i just simply got up and left. I told myself I would never go back but its been a couple years and I was in need of doing my eyebrows and I decided to go back. I called and i was told that they had availability and I told her I would be there in 10 minutes. When I get to the salon IT'S CLOSED!!!??? I called her 4 times and no answer! The owner has threaded my eyebrows 3x now and I have to say I have been very pleased each time. I always ask to get my brows cleaned up but keep them as thick as possible. Whenever she finishes I am always surprised at how good they look. They almost look fake/tattooed because they are perfect. I only want to use the owner since I have seen some scary reviews about missing eyebrow chunks, but I purposely waited 3 appointments later to give my review. The young lady who clean up my eyebrows today around 2:30pm did such a rushed job. She left my eyebrows uneven and when finished she told me to look in the wall mirror and walked away. Very unprofessional. I've been coming here for years was much more convenient in the mall location but they really don't care about customer service. Yelp says the store is open, I called and they say they're open I arrive in the busy parking lot impossible to find parking maneuvering and there's a sign that says be back in 10 minutes. Usually the skin around my eyebrows get really red so when she's done threading, I can't really see the shape or imperfections until the redness goes away. Found a nother threading place I love! It Is sometimes hard for me to find a good threading place as most places do not know how to create a good shape with my thick eyebrows. I walked in on a sunday morning with my sister and was immediately directed to a chair - no wait! The staff was friends and took their time. They also have a wide range of services from threading to waxing as well as hennas. It costs $12, which was slightly expensive but worth it. I only wish they had a stamp card for frequent visites, but anyways i will definitely be coming back soon. read more

Honestly really dumb of me to pay in advance like that but I was happy I could schedule online instead of calling so I went with that. It was raining really hard the day I was meant to go but every other business on the block was open and running. They didn't call and give me a heads up they'd randomly be closed that day. So I go, pay for parking, walk around in the rain, just to be met with a locked door. I called several times, left messages but was never responded to. So I found Zia off Google, a few other salons in SO had some pretty bad reviews, so I thought I would try this spot out.  I'm not sure why people can't grasp the fact that it is SO much more efficient to call ahead and make an appointment; much less during a pandemic that is such a numbers game.  Less people, more air flow, and spaced out.  I arrived right on time at 2:30pm, and the person was with a client, so I waited 12 feet away in the waiting area.  While I was waiting, someone else walked in, the employee let her know that I had an appointment and that she would have to take me first before getting to her.  The lady immediately went off, saying "why didn't you tell me, I got here before her.....forget it then", the employee calmly told her that because she was a walk in, she had to take appointments first.  The lady ended up storming out.  If she hadn't of been so rude, I would have told her that my brows literally take 5 minutes, I have microblading and like 5 hairs; it will be just a few minutes more.   For the 5 minutes it took the employee to get my brows in tip top shape, the lady actually CAME BACK IN and starting arguing again.  There was now yet another customer, who had also made an appointment, waiting in the store.  The lady asked for the employee's name...told her that she thought it was extremely "disrespectful" that she took me before her.  The employee again, calmly told her that meant no disrespect by any means, but that I HAD AN APPOINTMENT and she was a WALK IN.  The lady didn't really have a response so she left for a second time.   My brows looked amazing for my baby shower, I will def be returning, with an appointment!  All pricing is very reasonable and service is polite/fast. read more

Not sure who I spoke with, but the lady was really cordial and professional. Parking is not on the street, which is a huge plus. She is amazing with struggle brows like mine. Don't be fooled by my profile photo eyebrows. Lol! These are struggle brows like no other! Milan has shaped them, and cared for them like a wee garden, and they've grown out to be ok again like they were before the '90s, when I plucked and shaved them like I was crazy. Don't judge me, but I also get my chin done. It's hormones and heredity y'all! Haaaa! Until I see Milan, I seriously walk around with a witch chin. The absolute worst place to go to. They were rude & missed portions of my face when I payed for a full face threading. When I told the girl, she then goes over the areas she missed so hard I ended up getting rug burn on my face. My face ended up breaking out in a rash from the burn & bled. Finally after 2 weeks my face started to look normal again. I have had my face threaded before at a different place with absolutely no redness after the initial day. So I know it was just this lady here purposely going harder then she should after I pointed out her laziness. I went here after seeing the reviews on yelp. I cried from the pain.
