This time, we arrived at the BCoD, (Butt Crack of Dawn), parking there, then heading west, eventually turning around and coming back. This trip, I had an Asiago bagel, with a fried egg and provolone cheese, a caramel latte, and a crème brûlée donut, which, I gotta say, is the best donut I've ever had. Like last time, the experience was amazing, and The Bagel Barn is highly recommended by me, for all your breakfast needs.

When we arrived, it wasn't super busy, but we were greeted and asked about our order. I ordered an egg bagel with a scrambled egg and cheese and an iced coffee. My bagel came out within 5 minutes of ordering. The entire place smelled like a fresh bagel, which is amazing. When I bit into my bagel sandwich, it was delicious. Soft and chewy bagel, scrambled egg, and velvety cheese, it made for the perfect egg sandwich. The iced coffee was robust and delicious. Beware, they get pretty packed on the weekends, so if you have a hankering for a bagel or a half dozen, order early!

So they sub'd for store-bough GF bread and unfortunely we could tell. My bestie RAVES about their home-made GF bread, she says it's the best GF bread she's had, so was unfortunate I didn't get to try on this trip. BUT, overall sandwich was good, very thick and full of italian goodies! I think I will have to post again once I can try to true-blue GF italian made with their typical GF bread! I received shredded lettuce on my sub, my husband's was not toasted and neither of us received our pickle spears. Yes look to my left you can see the ocean look to the right the dirty table next to us which looked that way before we got there. Good the I saw the lettuce before I tried to eat it!! Prices have gone up so much in the past 6-9 months unbelievable on their service, not in the good way!! Yes ocean view may be good and outdoor seating is very nice too. But really??! People order their food the way they need to because they may have allergies to certain foods. You just can't put it on if they don't order it and can't eat it!

The food is tasty, daughter opted for a classic bagel with no meat (normally comes with bacon, ham or sausage) and it is generously packed. She also picked a strawberry shortcake donut and chai latte. Both were tasty. The donuts all look delicious and it was HARD to make a decision when they all looked good and creative. They have a couple of standard choices: classic glazed, strawberry sprinkles, but some of the specialty ones are crazy off the wall creative. There are almost too many choices. The people were lovely though, we will definitely be back.
