How close UV light was to duck tape

Horrible experience. We used to use ZeroRez for carpet cleaning before but after this last experience they will never be welcome in our home again. Where to even start! The worst part of this whole experience was Joe selling us on a UV light to put above our AC coils. He said our coils smelled moist. I have heard great things about UV lights and said okay, sure. I briefly looked up information about UV lights and asked him if this unit needed a shield so the heat would not impact anything around it. He said he never heard of that before and said no, it's fine. This is where I should have said NO. So he installs the unit (after pitching me that he installed one in their home for their new born baby who was having allergies) Anyway, after installation, a few weeks go by. Then we start getting this HORRID smell coming from our vents. I hired an HVAC professional to come look and as you will see in the photos, Joe put the UV light (that had no shielding) right next to the duct tape which will literally start melting after being exposed to very high heat. You need to put the UV light at least 3 feet away from anything it could impact and you need a shield. The HVAC company I hired to investigate said this was a total rookie mistake. We were literally breathing in TOXIC CHEMICALS due to the incompetence of ZeroRez and we should honestly SUE THEM. The UV light he installed was CHEAP, thus the reason it was only $300.00. The name of the unit was Breathe Clean. I even called the Breathe Clean company to get instructions on installation and the owner would not send it to me. Shady. If you get a UV light, DO NOT allow this company to install it, go with an HVAC professional and get a HALO LED with a shield cover. When I contacted ZeroRez about this, multiple times, I was reassured a manager would contact me. No manager ever contacted me and they just refunded me for the UV light (without even telling me, I noticed on CC card). But I received no phone call back. Most likely because they know this is a HUGE liability issue. Additionally, we have a relatively new house but decided to get our air ducts cleaned after a restoration company brought dirty blowers into our home. Our vents literally look way worse than they did prior to the cleaning. I specifically asked our service tech, Joe, to take before and after photos. He only took before photos. Why didn't he provide after photos? Well, because it looked worse. I also asked their receptionist prior to scheduling a vent cleaning, if they clean the air duct cleaning equipment after each home. She assured me they did. When Joe arrived, I once again asked him this. He said, well your my first house today so that's good and I dump the whip in a bucket. This is disgusting to me and it's pretty evident that they don't properly clean the equipment prior to using it at someone else's home. This leads to cross contamination issues. My advice to anyone reading this, HIRE A COMPANY THAT ACTUALLY CLEANS THEIR EQUIPMENT and specializes in duct cleaning, otherwise you risk adding bacteria, mold spores, dust, dirt into your vents!! Also, we had Joe clean our AC unit and he had to bring his manager out to help. They didn't put the screws in all the way and it was left making this ridiculously loud noise. Sloppy work. Sloppy business.

We took advantage of an "air duct cleaning special" with them. The job included a furnace cleaning and cost over $800. The job took several hours. Our furnace was not cleaned and the air ducts show residue and dirt remains. For several days after the service we were removing vent tape and general clean up from leftovers of service. Their customer service is to redo the service, noting it may take more than one trip? No! You showed us random pics and assured us our vents were cleaned. We do not want this company's inconveniences again, cleaning up your mess, blowing dirt on our cleaned carpets or touching our new furnace. WE DON'T TRUST THIS SERVICE FROM YOU. We were overcharged and sad to see your failed customer service regarding your lack of service.

Wonderful job, very ethical and helpful. Had a few dog stains that they got out without any problem. Would highly recommend them again!

Our carpet is cream colored and they looked great - especially the stairs! I can't wait to have them come back to do the basement!

Initially I selected Rino Carpet Cleaning because they had a fast response rate, and Aliread the…read morespecs I took time to document for the job. We scheduled an appt for the cleaning. I was pleased to see automated text messages confirmed the job and described what to expect. Rino does a great job of blending multiple communication modes seamlessly (Yelp, person's cell, automated text number). This is a rare skill that should not be underestimated. Unfortunate there was an emergency and I had to cancel the job in the middle of the night before the service (see my review on drywall lol). Then the emergency was taken care of sooner than expected, so I contacted Rino again. We rescheduled service for the following day. An arrival window was provided; they arrived promptly. Ali did a walkthrough and we showed him a couple of stains. They began the service. There was a team of two, Ali and Ivan. Ali performed the stain treatment (stains came out!) and Ivan the all-over carpet cleaning. Both were friendly and professional. I will certainly hire them again.

Ali was fast and prompt responding. His tech was a cool guy and was a good worker. Service is good…read moreand prompt. But that's not why the 2 stars. As you can see in the pics, the carpet is very spotty, streaky, after the clean some areas better and somehow some worse. The tech wasn't happy with the clean when he finished and offered to come back if I desired. I'm not looking for anything just showing the before and after pics. I had hope for a better result then what we got is all. The pics are the next day to ensure the carpet was dry.
