This is the third time we have used Carpet Doctor. Armin did an outstanding job with our carpet. To maintain our carpets, we always have them cleaned once a year. This year, after having a kitchen redone, our association has had the roof replace, there was so much dust and dirt in the carpets. It was time. We chose the added pretreatment and the Scotch Guard treatment, which enhance our carpets. These treatments are worth the extra cost. Many of our neighbors can believe how old our carpets are. The reason they look outstanding is the care we take regarding our carpets. In addition, we vacuum our carpets once a week and use an excellent vacuum cleaner. My dog decided to put down his business over night in two bedrooms, hallway and landing from a stomach infection. Pretty fun to wake up to. I was on the phone by 8am and got a hold of Josh the owner of Carpet Doctor. He scheduled it for the pm, same day. Can't beat that in pandemic times. I got two texts and he beat me home from lunch. Just had a gentlemen named Josh clean our living room/dining room/family room carpets. He pretreated the entire carpet and then spent time on the spots and stains before going to the big machine. After he finished the carpet looked better than it has in *many* years and certainly better than the last 2 well-known companies that we've had in. Made appointment on line a week out, they gave me a window between 8-10. At 11 called and texted their number, to see if they were going to make the appointment for that day...even though they were already late. No one ever got back to me. Per the text they sent me stating they do not move furniture, I had a friend help me move a majority of the furniture to rooms with wood floors. He had to leave at noon so now I was stuck with furniture moved, no carpets cleaned and no help to move the furniture back. And still no call or text back from them stating they were running late or needing to reschedule. If their customer service is any reflection on their abilities to clean carpet I'm sure they will be going out of business soon. Really no excuse for not contacting someone back. If I could have given 0 stars I would have...total waste of my day. read more

Two problems: 1) we had originally agreed on a set window of time; they changed it last minute on me with no apology. attitude was very "it is what it is" 2) they cleaned my entire house in 40 minutes. the carpet actually felt dirtier - it had that crusty feeling after it dried (my guess is the water they used was dirty and didn't actually come out of the carpet). for comparison, I called another highly rated carpet cleaning service in the area to come and clean again and they spent double the time (for less) and I could not be happier with their level of service and attention to detail. perhaps they were having a bad day but this was my experience... read more

I scheduled with Michael between 3 and 4pm for today. I gave him my phone number (which shouldn't have been necessary anyway since it recorded on his cell phone). So, I take time off work, get home at 2:45. He no-shows. I call him. He said, oh too bad, we were there at 2pm and no one was home so we went to the next job. I said why didn't you at least call me? He said, he tried but he had the wrong number. He had the wrong number, the wrong time and he said he's too busy to come back. He's too busy for my business then. I recently had my carpets cleaned by Carpet Doctor Inc. I am selling my house and needed a cleaning asap.They were able to get me scheduled quickly. Mike showed up on time. He is very professional and skilled at his job. He put plastic protectors on the corners of my walls to prevent the hoses from rubbing on the wall. We did a walkthrough of the house first. Our bedroom carpet and kids room carpet were extremely soiled. He did a wonderful job. The carpet was pretty wet afterwards. But they looked awesome. I had no idea how hard it was to find a good, affordable, reliable carpet cleaner! I found Mike after another company no showed me. I made a dozen or so calls and he was one of two who called me back and was half the price of the other. He got out an old red juice stain and some black stains that have been in the carpet longer than we've lived here. His pricing is the best in town hands down! The carpet doctor came and cleaned our old gross carpet and it turned out amazing! The carpet is now fluffier, cleaner and looks great! Due to the age of the carpet I know it's not gonna turn out 100% but they did an amazing job. The tech that came out was not only polite and courteous he was very sweet and explained the whole process before he even started. We purchased the whole house special which I believe was around $140! They did the scrub brush, I apologize I don't know the technical term for this machine, and I love the pattern in the carpet when it was done because it was actually cleaned by scrubbing and not the normal wand most carpet cleaners use! If you're on a budget and hesitant to call don't be, call them! They also got me on their schedule rather quickly which I also thought was lovely and worked with my schedule! read more

Mike was nice and personable but the job was not very good. My wife got off work and was very upset when she saw the carpets. We were not expecting the stains to come up altogether but they look the same. The rest of the carpet looks just like it did before he did them. For $140 we were expecting it to at least look like we did it ourselves. We could have done as well with a rented machine. read more

I just bought a home and the carpets were absolutely filthy sine the people that previously owned the house hadn't had them cleaned in over seven years. The owner answered and listen to my concerns, he scheduled an appointment within a week which a lot of other companies weren't willing to do (especially during the Christmas season). His employee arrived promptly as scheduled and was extremely pleasant to have in my new home. He did an incredible job and even spent extra time on troubled areas. He did such a great job that I now feel comfortable leaving the carpet for the time being instead of having to replace it immediately. My husband and I have used Carpet Doctor twice so far and have been please each time! We have two small dogs who will go to the bathroom inside the house when they are too stubborn to go outside or if the weather is bad (mind you, we do have a doggie door that gives them full access to the backyard whenever they need). Although we use a handful of products to clean the urine spots sometimes we don't find them right away and after clean-up the urine smell still lingers. Each time we've had the carpets cleaned that smell has been replaced by a nice and clean one and all the urine spots on the carpet are completely removed! We definitely know who to call when it's time for our quarterly carpet cleaning - especially for only $99! Great work and a great deal! read more

I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. They agreed to a time and when my wife got home he was already at our place. Over an hour early then told my wife that he had been Waiting for ten minutes and she only has 5 minutes to vacuum They he kept trying to up sell her into paying more and when she refused he said well basically I'll just be spraying hot water and steam. Our issue that we had with Carpet Doctor's Inc has been resolved. The machine they we're using had a broken part, unknown to the Technician at the time. They have since redone our carpets and given us a full refund, and gone above and beyond to rectify the situation in a timely and professional manner. Update: I initially wrote a 2-star review for Carpet Doctor because of some issues we had with the first cleaning. Mike contacted me through Yelp about the review and urged me to let him come back out and correct any issues free of charge. He arrived on time and was very friendly. He apologized for any inconvenience and discussed the issues. He then performed a deep cleaning on the problem spots, discussed the outcome with us, and gave us some carpet cleaning discount cards for the future. One of the issues we had originally was that his hoses marred some of our baseboard, but I noticed that Mike used new corner protectors when he came back out, and he mentioned my review pushed him to purchase the protectors. Overall, now that he addressed the issues and took my review constructively, we are extremely satisfied with both Mike's work and his honesty as a businessman. He didn't have to contact me or come back out for free, but he chose to go above and beyond because I think he genuinely cares about not only his reputation but about providing customers with a quality carpet cleaning. I plan on having Mike come back out next time we need carpet cleaning services, and I've learned that next time I will do a better job reaching out to a contractor when I have issues rather than assuming the warranty period is over. read more

Lucky for me, Michael had a cancellation on the day I called, so he was able to squeeze me in same-day for a pet-related emergency carpet-cleaning. Though the dirt / smell was only on two floors of our townhome, he went ahead and did all three levels and was out the door in just under an hour. The carpets were clean, the smell was gone, and everything dried within 24 hours - all for $100. He even got some stains out that we thought would be permanent.
