Had my carpets cleaned yesterday with this company and wish I would have read the reviews here prior. My appointment window was 12-3. I received a text at 2:30 stating they were 54 minutes out only for the technician to arrive at 4. The technician was having issues with the equipment and took almost an hour after having to call the office many times to actually get started. He did add the odor elimination to all 5 spaces after I paid extra for just one room. The carpets looked fine after and seem to be drying as expected. After he left, I noticed that there were some small things like, he must have hit my daughters desk with the machine as one of my daughters Lego sets had fallen an broke (she's in college and not home so I knew it wasn't her). Overall, the carpets are clean and I'm happy with that but the experience itself was less than par. I didn't complain about the late arrival, lack of communication or anything else and was just hoping that the technician would do something automatically for the inconvenience. I honestly was just happy when it was done. It took over 2 hours for 1100 square feet with no furniture needing to be moved. read more

My fiancée made an appointment a week before. He heard them on the radio and was curious to check them out. We needed two bedrooms and the hallway done. They mentioned that they can help with two black hair dye stains in the hallway. The quote was very reasonable and I was excited to get my carpets cleaned. You don't pay up front. You pay after the service. The day of the appointment which was on a Friday, he called them early morning to leave my contact number. They were supposed to come from the times 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. I was upstairs for just a brief moment, I didn't hear the doorbell ring or a knock. My fiancée saw them on our front camera after 10:00 am, but the gentleman didn't even stay more than a minute or bother to call. They tried to rescheduled via text but by then, my fiancée was aggravated and didn't want their business. They claimed they didn't get our message that morning. So upsetting. I wanted to get this done but it didn't happen. I don't recommend this company at all. They lack communication skills. read more

Zerorez cleaned my carpets and did a great job. No complaints there, except that it was more than I thought it would be based on the quote. The carpets definitely feel clean, so good work there. They also cleaned a white upholstered chair and ruined it. Ronnie, the service manager, assured me at the start of the ordeal that they would make it right, even if it meant reupholstering the chair. After multiple attempts to address what they called "browning out," they ghosted me. As in scheduled an appointment and then no call, no showed. Since then, I have called both Shane, their office manager, and Ronnie (who no showed), and it's the same result: more wasted time, no accountability, and a ruined chair. You can take a gamble and have them out to clean carpets or furniture, but if something goes wrong, you're left paying the bill to address their mistake. Absolute joke of a company. Had an appointment set for 5/7 anywhere from 10am to 1pm. So all of the furniture is moved, and basically the whole day is set aside for them. They call, with an automated line by the way, no actual person, and canceled the appointment and said it would now be 5/12 between 3-6pm. Absolutely not. When we called and actually talked to a person it was also terrible customer service and more of an attitude. Didn't even try to keep us from canceling. Save yourself the wasted time and possibly money and just call somewhere else. There's no picture to share since they couldn't show up to do the job they agreed to do. read more

I scheduled a simple 2 took carpet cleaning between 12 and 3. At 3 I called to check when the technicians would arrive or if they had been held up. It took 4 calls to get through to anyone and once I did they told me my window was 2 to 5 pm. I had a confirmation email and text that it was 12-3 so I calmly said that's incorrect and the customer service rep said they finished their last job and should be on their way. They told me they would call me back and let me know once they spoke to the techs. After 20 minutes I called back to cancel my appointment and the rep just said okay, you're cancelled without asking what the issue was or seeing that I had called. I should have checked yelp first but carpet cleaning is such a simple service I didn't. Save yourself some time and call another service, I recommend Stanley Steamer. read more

Employee did not bring a hose to the appointment and had to go back to the shop to get it. Appointment took place three hours later. He cleaned three bedrooms in under 15 minutes, barely cleaning them whatsoever. Lastly, he got off my blacktop driveway three times and dug deep ruts into the mud off the driveway. Absolutely terrible experience. I contacted management and was told my email was going to be forwarded on and that this issue would be resolved. Nothing happened at all, even after I sent a second follow up email. This was my first time using Zerorez and I have told all of my family and friends about what a terrible experience it was and to never go through them for their own carpet cleaning. I booked Zerorez as a housewarming gift for a relative. After paying over $700, not including a tip, but with upcharges for bio treatment, the smell of the carpet was terrible. When we cleaned it with a home, carpet cleaner, we removed a significant amount of dirt. When I called to report this, the solution offered was to come again and clean the carpet, which we had already cleaned because it was poorly done to begin with. We had zerorez cincinnati out in february 2024. We scheduled to have 2 bedrooms, bedroom closets and stairway done for 199.00. When cleaner arrived he informed us that the bedroom closets would be extra. We also had an area rug that we wanted cleaned. It had pet urine in the area rug. The cleaner charged me an extra $160.00 for the area rug ( 10 x 10 feet) that took about 10 minutes extra time. Results- the rooms and stairs had no real improvement. The carpets were very wet after cleaning and took almost a full day+ to dry out. Area-rug. Left very wet, took actually more than a few days to dry out, since this was a longer pile carpet. However, the Zerorez treatment seemed to activate the pet urine smell. I left a poor google review with Zerorez. Then zerorez contacted me yesterday about trying to fix the problem they created. I called i asked them to come back and only treat the area rug. Zerorez solution was to charge me another $70.00 for special pet treat process. They guys do poor work. do not use. read more

This is the worst carpet cleaning company I have ever used in my life. It has been 24 hours since they cleaned, and it is still damp in some places. All they did is just put water in our carpet, and leave it. It looks worse than when they came, and it is no longer soft, it has a rough feel to the whole carpet. It seems as though all they did was get the dirt wet and leave it. Apparently they use green cleaning products, and they sprayed stuff on and immediately vacuum it off. They didn't even let the cleaning solution they sprayed on it sit any amount of time. Also they didn't vacuum enough and extract the water to even pull it up and make it look good. Our carpet is very good quality and only 5 years old. They told me it was wear and tear, and they could go over at 350 times and it wouldn't look any better. There was originally an issue with the water and the van, and it not working correctly. One of the men called me to let me know they may not be able to do it, or to reschedule, and they were supposed to come back to the office and they were going to check the van. He called me back later and said it was working better than ever. The guys would be heading my way. He had left the phone on, and told them to do their best college effort. He also told them maybe not to get it all wet, in case it went down again. There was a few areas I was not happy about, but they weren't willing to do anything about it. I kept asking them to take some more of the water out, and they wouldn't. They kept saying the look of it, was wear and tear. We had four big rooms and stairwell and they had it done in 40 minutes. What a waste of money, but the thing that bothers me the most, is that I have all that water mixed with a dirt just dried on the carpet. They brag about not leaving residue, but I would rather have a company that actually uses a cleaning product and extracts all the water. Such a disappointment. read more

We had prepared the area to give him room near the dryer but upon arrival he said they only clean the outside vent. The entire job was completed in less than 10 minutes and he left all of the lint all over our yard. Nothing was collected or cleaned up. I believe the cost was $120. a total rip off. read more

My home was scheduled for service by the Cincinnati OH office on Friday November 3rd. The arrival time was supposed to be between noon and 3:00 PM. When nobody had shown up by 4:00 PM, I reached out and was able to speak with Blake Chance. Blake informed me that my cleaning had been rescheduled to the following Tuesday due to some "equipment issues" in the Cincinnati office. After explaining to Blake that Tuesday was not an option, and that I really needed to get my house back in order sooner rather than later, she made it her mission to ensure that I was taken care of. When neither Blake nor I was able to reach somebody from the Cincinnati office, Blake contacted Emmanuel who I believe is out of the Atlanta office. between Blake and Emmanuel, they got a cleaning scheduled for the next day (Saturday December 4th) between noon and 3:00 PM. The Zerorez representative showed up on time and was a pleasure to work with! Tony Callahan was the technician who cleaned my carpets. Tony was a pleasure to meet and get to know and was a true professional! My carpets look fantastic! And my house is all back in order now. Scheduled a cleaning today. It is a very small living room/dining room combo and a hallway. The area is less than 500 square feet. The gentlemen showed up and were polite, however they told me that they don't move furniture, just clean around the furniture. The did tell me that because an employee knocked the ashes of a loved one off a piece of furniture, they will no longer move furniture. They didn't even try to work with me, so I told them this kind of service simply wouldn't work for me. What am I supposed to do? Move the furniture outside to my front yard? NEVER AGAIN. I hired them to clean 3 rooms in my home. First off the tech was unprofessional from the beginning saying he couldn't clean my carpets like I want them. They are barley dirty as I run my own shampooer once a week having dogs. He then tried to upsell me saying he won't even try to remove stains unless I pay an additional 91 per room. I was already paying 125. Then when I said no he said all for 200. Well I'm glad I didn't. This wasn't even worth 125.00. My at home cleaner does a better job. It's like he didn't even use cleaner but just hot water and made a bunch of brown spots. Called and complained they didn't seem to care and were quick to pass us to a manager that they knew was not at work. Still no call back. Stay away. ***Update-they sent a more experienced tech out to re service and the carpet looked ok but once dry it looks horrible. The workers were professional, and overall did the job we hired them for, but the problem came afterward. We had 4 bedrooms, a common room, and basement cleaned and paid for deodorizer. The job was done two days ahead of an open house for my mother-in-law's house which was going on the market. It was pretty normal that the carpets were still damp the afternoon after the job was done, but the next day I went to take care of a few things around the house I noticed that the floors were still damp and now there was a musty smell in the basement. By Thursday, we had several showings and an open house, and the smell was pretty bad. The realtor was concerned and EVERYONE who viewed the house mentioned how bad the basement smelled and used it as a reason for not putting an offer on the house. The basement smell, which wasn't there prior to cleaning, definitely affected the way the house showed and the offers that came in. I called to speak with a manager about the situation. It was late afternoon and the person who answered the phone was very polite and helpful. She warned me I would probably get voicemail as it was the end of the day and I understood, when she transferred me to the manager's voicemail, though, I got a message telling me the person's voicemail was full. I called back and this time she told me she would transfer me to his boss, and gave me the same warning about getting voicemail. I left a message explaining the situation and asked for it to be fixed or to get a refund. 5 days later and I still haven't heard anything. We paid 1100 dollars for the service, and since we don't have much time I had to have Mella Services come out and fix it for an additional 500. Everyone we've dealt with, from the customer service, to the guys who came out and did the job were very professional, but It's upsetting that using Zerorez actually made the home less desirable, and not only did we pay for subpar service, it actually cost us money by lowering interest in the home from potential buyers. read more

First-They don't actually CLEAN your couch, they "dry clean" it. My couch was no cleaner after they left and I paid $200 to have it cleaned with professional equipment. Second-The carpet cleaned left red and yellow spots from being too wet underneath where the padding soaked it up and now has permanent spots from the cleaning. They question you about having "colored pencil" bits stuck in there from kids crayons/colored pencils. Then they send someone else back out to fix the stain but the tech won't clean it and then argue with you about everything. The technician manager can't even do a refund, he has to call his district manager which I had to leave a voicemail for. First of all, I booked my appt for between 3pm and 6pm. The tech showed up at 915am. We work 2nd shift and were still in bed. I had not vacuumed or moved things. Had to jump up and work like a dog to get it ready for cleaning. The tech was super nice and understanding and didn't know why I had been moved without any notice. This is very unprofessional. Could have turned away and you would have lost the business but I gave you a chance because my mother wanted your company because she had heard commercials on the radio about how great your are. The tech was alone so we had to move furniture or he would have just went around it. Our pets like to pee on furniture legs. If we hadn't moved things, those spots would have been missed. In the old days 2 people came, 1 that moved furniture while thr other cleaned. And they'd put plastic under the legs of things so water wouldn't ruin them. Those days are gone I was told by the manager. I booked the cleaning with a bill of $300. They left with $700. That was to eliminate pet odors. Well it's 4 days later and my house smells like ammonia. So I dragged my home carpet cleaner out and went over spots they just cleaned. See photo below. Had three rooms and a hallway cleaned by them back at the end of September and thought everything was fine until the next day everything dried and there were chunks taken out of my drywall that I did not notice before. The technician mentioned he did not have the corner guards at the end of the service, but I never thought he had ripped up the walls like he did and did not say a word. If zero stars were possible that would be my rating. Awful customer service! I was scheduled for a 12-3 appointment window to have my loveseat cleaned. I got a call at 11:40 from a representative who said hello can you hear me hello? I kept saying yes with no response so I disconnected. They never said who they were or where they were calling from. At almost 3 I called to find out why they hadn't come yet and was told they should've reached out (no apology from the manager). I said I hadn't been contacted and he kept repeating that they should've contacted me. But they didn't!!! And they didn't even apologize. The service rep called me and said since I had missed my appointment I would have to reschedule. He insisted that he had messaged me(which I never got), and had knocked on my door and waited 15 minutes with no response. My husband and I were home all day and nobody knocked. He said he had pictures proving he was at my house. When I called the manager to complain about the poor service he refused to do anything to remedy this and when I said it was poor service and that it was wrong that I was inconvenienced with no compensation or apology because his rep was garbage he said "I'm ending this conversation now, you won't speak that way about my employees." It's been 24 hours since my carpets were cleaned by Zerorez--and the stairs are still wet. Quick drying was one of the things that made me call the company to make an appointment... The spots that were there before have reappeared-- it only looks minimally better. The technician complained about the stains--which is why I called the company--for a carpet cleaning, strangely enough. I took advantage of a 'deal' which was quickly added to. The second half of a hallway is $36 more? The bill ended up being almost twice what the deal advertised. My first experience with Zerorez has become my last. I called the company to ask for a partial refund in order for them to 'make it right.' So we heard a radio advertisement for zerorez and thought we would give them a try. So needless to say there's a reason I am leaving this review now. We had our HVAC and vents cleaned first then our carpets cleaned the next day. The carpet cleaning was actually really good, BUT the hvac was a disaster from jump. They come in and ask to see all our your vents and hvac unit. So after scheduling our service and being screened on how many sqft our house is they tell us once arriving that the service only covers 15 vents. We had 20, so right from the start we are upcharged $125. So not very happy to start. Then they left metal shavings and screws in my carpet after having to cut a hole in the return. So I had to clean the mess up myself. I called to make the manager aware of the issues. They said they would send another crew out to check and make sure everything was done correctly and clean up if there was another mess. After getting that scheduled on a Friday night, we waited for the 4hour window we were told then get a call from the tech saying that his truck is broke down and won't make it. So Friday night wasted. Then we obviously had to reschedule and the 4hr window comes and goes then 32 mins past that they show up and say traffic was bad. Then the crew that shows up was one of the crews that has been here before and acts like they never have and walks down to the basement, opens our humidifier connected to our hvac and says everything looks good. Then proceeds to leave, I asked that's it?? He said yeah everything looks good. So I take his word for it feeling assured we are good to go right? Well not so fast....I was in my finished basement btw, and hear what sounds like water running....I look and see water running out of my humidifier and down the side of the hvac unit and the carpet is soaked. So luckily I am fairly handy and was able to open the humidifier and the water line was just left hanging. So I reconnected the hose and all is good. Now I have to pull up my carpet and set up fans to dry it all out. Now I call the Cincinnati manager/gm/regional mrg Don... such an unprofessional. He basically called me a liar and said that his guys don't mess with the humidifier. I told him I personally witnessed them take off the cover, remove the filter and look down inside it. He said well I'll look in it. Then proceeded to say what do you expect me to do about it. I said well considering we have spent over $600 for services and had to have them out four times and nothing but problems. I think we are due some compensation. He said look luck with that. I was pretty pissed. I asked for his bosses contact info and he said I'm not giving that to you. So needless to say, here we go. Highly do NOT recommend zerorez. read more

They were supposed to have come out to my house this morning to clean my carpets and were a no show. We moved all the furniture out of the rooms we needed cleaned. My husband called them and they said they had to cancel us and rescheduled for next Thursday. I called the CS manager to see why they cancelled. She listened to the recording from Monday's call. She said all my husband said was he needed some to come out before Friday, and the CSR he talked with said yes, we have Thursday available. So, the CS manager told me he didn't specify the date, and just said Friday. The CSR that he talked with also didn't say a date, and she just said Thursday, and the CS manager said they thought it was next Thursday. I said common sense if someone calls on a Monday requesting something for a Friday it means this week, and if it was next Friday, he would have specified next Friday. They were unwilling to help me out, and pretty much said sorry for your luck. read more

Had Zerorez out last week to deep clean our condo. (5 rooms, hallway, steps, couch and three chairs.) WOW is the only word that comes to mind! Chuck, the AWESOME technician, was prompt, knowledgeable, and VERY professional. He explained the process thoroughly and DID NOT try to sell us anything that we did not need. He tailored the cleaning to our needs. Not only do our carpets and furniture look and feel new, since they do not use harsh chemicals to clean the carpets, there wasn't a heavy chemical order when the carpets were done. The dry cleaning solution used on the furniture had a pleasant scent that did not last long. We are going to have Zerorez out in a few weeks to clean the interior of our car. read more

They did my carpet and when they got to my house they said they couldn't guarantee the stain made by my dog unless I paid an extra $90 per room. Then where we tried to clean the dog poop up with a dog cleaner the gentleman said he couldn't get it cleaned because of the soap residue that was left behind. A Covid story: I had Zerorez come out to clean the grout and tile in a bathroom. In and out pretty quickly. What they didn't tell me was that they do not clean steps to the shower, the tile ceiling in the shower, and the back splash above the sinks. I called and they said that someone could come back and take care of it; not like I wanted more people in my house during Covid but come they did the next day. I asked the service person to wear a mask and gloves and he agreed. I showed him the areas of concern and he told me that they do not clean these areas. He told me my maid should clean them. I have no maid. But he did offer to "wipe them down". During that 5 or 6 minute interchange his mask slipped down below his nose 3 or 4 times and I asked him to pull it up and almost immediately it slipped back down again. The mask certainly was not effective. I offered him a new mask and he refused. Indeed I thought that it was not worth his being in my house for any length of time just to wipe down some tile and so for my own well being I asked him to leave. I am older and considered to be one of the vulnerable group and thus I am very conscious of masks, distancing, and hand washing. read more
