My carpet not being cleaned because Zerorez doesn't show up for their appointments.

I scheduled service 9 days in advance... then the day before my appointment, Zerorez cancelled. They rescheduled me for 4 days later... then the day of service, Zerorez cancelled again. What kind of business is this? Don't even think of Zerorez, just think Zero and then call Stanley Steamer! Picture below of my carpet not getting cleaned!

I booked Zerorez as a housewarming gift for a relative. After paying over $700, not including a tip, but with upcharges for bio treatment, the smell of the carpet was terrible. When we cleaned it with a home, carpet cleaner, we removed a significant amount of dirt. When I called to report this, the solution offered was to come again and clean the carpet, which we had already cleaned because it was poorly done to begin with. I recommend you avoid this company.

This is the color of the water 4 days after they cleaned.

First of all, I booked my appt for between 3pm and 6pm. The tech showed up at 915am. We work 2nd shift and were still in bed. I had not vacuumed or moved things. Had to jump up and work like a dog to get it ready for cleaning. The tech was super nice and understanding and didn't know why I had been moved without any notice. This is very unprofessional. Could have turned away and you would have lost the business but I gave you a chance because my mother wanted your company because she had heard commercials on the radio about how great your are. The tech was alone so we had to move furniture or he would have just went around it. Our pets like to pee on furniture legs. If we hadn't moved things, those spots would have been missed. In the old days 2 people came, 1 that moved furniture while thr other cleaned. And they'd put plastic under the legs of things so water wouldn't ruin them. Those days are gone I was told by the manager. I booked the cleaning with a bill of $300. They left with $700. That was to eliminate pet odors. Well it's 4 days later and my house smells like ammonia. So I dragged my home carpet cleaner out and went over spots they just cleaned. See photo below. Not very complimentary considering they advertise all over the place about their exceptional work.

Found my technician to be abrasive. Not impressed with the carpet/stairs cleaning. I blame Fritch from Q102 lol

Horrible quality and value for what we paid. First thing they said when walking in was that our…read moresectional was too big so charged and extra $140. They finished our four bedrooms upstairs in about 10 minutes and just hit the main middle spots. Down stairs in our living room was the worst. They seperated our sectional and broke off two pieces to put it back together and didn't tell me until I found it hours later. They also left black streaks across the floor that they cleaned up once I requested. For any cleaning products there was of course another fee and house was left messier than when they came. Also, it's 2026 now, surprised they have to leave the door open with the 30 degree weather out to let all the heat out. Overall lazy, rushed and zero attention to details.

What they are really good at is not taking any responsibility for damages that they have done…read more Chipped tile under kitchen vent...Dented main air intake duct that makes loud popping noise every time air conditioning starts and stops...Expected a much better care for my property. It's just very upsetting that you go with "the Best" and more expensive company and this is what you get. Can NOT recommend unfortunately. Special "thanks" to Jeremy Lewis and Micheal Westlund (technicians ). P.S.: they broke that piece of a tile off and instead of giving it back to me so that I can possibly fix my flour they instead preferred to throw it away and cover the job up in hopes that I will not see it. But I did right away. Update 8/23/24: "Good" stuff keeps coming...The Dryer Vent ! They cleaned it, they said ...Picture taken a week after "cleaning" ( we are rebuilding our deck and got to the vent yesterday , its located below the deck). Beautifully done job! Forgot to add: Just an advice, film your home before they come, your vents and around them, your furnace, the way it looks, operates. All the damages that they will do to your property will be "pre existing " according to Stanley S.. So just keep in mind.

To my surprise a lot of the big name companies had very bad reviews and after reading the few reviews that Oxi Fresh had and calling them to get some feedback on their carpet cleaning process, I decided to give them a chance. To my surprise I got their carpet tech Wally and I was pretty stoked because upon reading the reviews, he was one of the guys people spoke highly of. Wally called about a half hour before hand to let me know he would be here at the scheduled time. He showed up and was very professional and trust worthy. He slipped on his carpet protective shoe covers and came in to evaluate the areas to be cleaned. Once he got started, he was very thorough and actually spent more time on or in the highly soiled areas assuring that he removed as much dirt/stains as possible. He was very personable and even helped me move a few pieces of furniture that I assumed that he would just go around. But no! He insisted that it was no problem and that we could move them so he could clean thoroughly. I was pleased with Wally's work and attention to detail. Pricing was pretty average or just slightly higher, but I was okay with it because he took his time. When he was done, my carpet looked 95% percent better. The reason I say 95% is because I'm a realist and I don't expect my carpet to look brand new and I know that with time some stains may reappear. But for now, they look great! Job well done Wally!!
