I've been coming to this location since it's opened and I make 25 min trip just to come here. At first they were great no issues except the wait time to receive our food and drinks but I understood because they're popular and fairly new at the time. the past 4 times I have came, I've had nothing but issues. I just bought a drink today and the mango twist was so heavy it all fell off on my way to the car and they weren't even yellow they were very unripe and also I had to order 3 times. I originally ordered the fries and corn combo 2 of them with no salsa because my boyfriend is allergic to avocados and with the mango drinks with the twists on both and a monster shake but only received one box and noticed later on we were only charged that. We had to re order what the cashier didn't charge us and again left a whole other drink I basically asked for 2 times already so I had to order 1 more time just to receive the drink they forgot and I asked for mango twists on both but only got it on one. Where do I start honestly? I've come to this place when it first opened up and it was popping, but all the items i've personally tried didn't live up to the hype. It really doesn't taste as good as it looks. I've come back multiple times with friends who've wanted to try it out and each time I come back there are less and less people. It also might've been due to the day and time but one things for sure Zero Degree's is fading fast. There were a couple of incidents that definitely made me want to rate 2 stars. I rated 2 stars giving the benefit of the doubt that this place will get better. The first incident I had encountered was when I was waiting for my drink at the counter and I witnessed one of the workers drop a cup onto the floor. I didn't think too much of it because mistakes happen. Here's the kicker, instead of THROWING IT AWAY they quickly RINSE it. I tried confronting one of the workers about it but I was always given an awkwardly worded answer that didn't make sense. I then asked for a manager and the manager denied anything that I claimed happened. I respect staff in the food industry because it can get tough and stressful at times but this is just plain ridiculous. The second incident happened at the register. I wanted to split tender and I guess this cashier was in training because he was unaware of how to split tender. So I assumed the person who came to assist was a manager of some sort? This person proceeded to take about 5 minutes to figure it out and the whole time, two employees behind him were laughing. I mean I guess it is a joke that a manager struggled to split tender on the register. It goes on and on honestly. The place smells on the inside, and the outside. Definitely makes it harder to enjoy what I ordered. I dread coming back to Zero Degree's and if another friend ask's me to come with i'm staying home. read more

We got the straw horchata & watermelon slush but they didn't add the additional fruit on top like the menu indicated it would so not going back. Worst service ever!, came about 10:00pm waited it line got my order in finally! Than after that they skip my number multiple times!!!! I don't what's the girl name in the front who works in the cashier her family was there and finally found out why my order was so damn late and keep on skipping my number when I was ahead of them ! The customer service was not even semi good, the cashier seemed like she didn't wanna be there. I understand not everyone enjoys where they work but when it comes to dealing with a customer we all have a switch we turn on (professionalism) the switch never switched on I guess. My order took roughly 30-40 they came and told us it would take another 5 mins, seemed like they forgot about our order. Wasn't a good first experience here. I'm only giving them 2 stars because they have a lot of things to improve. 1st the register was so slow to take others. If i was the manager of this place i would have at least open the 2 registers since there was a lot of people making the drinks. && I don't get why the register person have to leave and go to the kitchen to give the ticket if someone orders food. Why can be somebody take the order and have another person take the ticket to the kitchen so that the register can focus on taking orders. i would understand a 2 hour wait for food if it was something that actually needed to be cooked and was incredibly delicious. i waited 2 hours for someone to throw fries in a deep fryer and throw hot cheeto crumbs on them. i also ordered the chilotes box and when my order was next they decided to tell me there was no chicharrones and they gave me a popcorn chicken box instead of giving me the popcorn chicken alongside elote which is what i ordered. the mangonadas were done quickly and they were good. that was the only good thing about this place. read more

This place was just okay. We went in the opening day and ordered a mangonada, a watermelon slush, and the hot Cheeto elotes. The line was long (as expected) but they were pretty fast to serve considering there were so many people. They did mess up our order a bit and gave us the spicy watermelon slush instead of the regular one, so they remade it for us which was nice. My biggest complaint was the elotes. I was rather disappointed to find that half of my order was just hot Cheeto dust and the corn barely had any mayo on it. It was very dry and hard to eat. Hopefully I was the only one to experience this and that the ratio is typically better. An employee also wiped down our table while we were settled and eating already which was annoying and should have been done before or after we sat but he seemed new so it's whatever. I hope I am more pleased with my experience the next time I go to try their Ube shake. read more

If you ever want to have a quick nap before drinking this is the place to be. I literally waited almost 30 mins for one drink, and there was six different people behind the counter making drinks plus there wasn't much people. How is it even possible to make a drink this long. I literally could have went back, read instructions on how to make the drink, make a couple of test runs for taste purposes and still make it before this place makes my drink. I feel like they imported the mangoes from Beijing like one of the bottles they sell. The corn was like fresh out of the can to top it all off. To make a long story short I am never going back to this place nor recommending it to anyone. I am only putting one star here because I can't put zero. Their advertisement is amazing for everyone to make it a must-go drink place. When I got there, there was a line leading outside. Although the line was excruciatingly long, it was well worth it. They have drinks, so aesthetically pleasing, that i have only seen in California. What caught my attention was the manganda and the Ube slush. They were so colorful, I couldn't help myself. We ordered the manganda, spicy watermelon, hot Cheetos fries, orange chicken, and the travel bottle. Personally, I didn't like the flavor of the spicy watermelon and mango. Only because I'm not a fan of the sour/spicy/salt combo on my fruits. I would rather just order the watermelon because it was pretty good in general. On the other hand, my boyfriend loved the drink. He had always loved the tajun flavor on fruits so this was a big treat for him. The travel bottle is glass and very beautiful. I needed a new water bottle and what's a better bottle than an aesthetically pleasing one. They did, however, run out of a lot of the bottles, leaving me with only a few options (Chicago, New York, and Thailand... I went with Thailand). As for the food, the hot Cheetos combo was amazing. It really tied in everything and the orange chicken was very flavorful and nice to eat along with the manganda and spicy watermelon. All together, I would definitely come back to try more things... like the ube slush... it looks like a sugar wonderland. This is definitely a cafe you should try at least once. I can honestly say i was not impressed with this place. I was very excited to try the different flavors of milk teas, mangoneada, snacks etc. It felt as this place had no flavor. I did enjoy my Thai tea bobba, but it was warm when I got it and hardly any boba inside. I had to ask for more ice....mangoneada was basic. My bf enjoyed it but the Spanish treat shops are seriously ten times better and not overpriced...and last, we waited 20 minuted for our elotes with hot cheetos? I had to ask about it until it finally was prepared. (They forgot about it) I would not waste my $18 again on this. I wouldn't recommend anyone that works in the area to come here for lunch or a break. The service is suuuuppperr slow and the lines are usually long. The drinks and food are good, but I don't really feel it's worth taking up about 30-40 min of my time. They are so disorganized here.. don't bother ordering more than one thing.
