The joys of triple Mochi
Susan R.

Caught the fusion ! How about a little bit of something new, a bit different! Make your way to the different side of the world right here in Las Vegas . Yay, it's China town ! This place mixes some mochi from Japan and some American cuisine together with a mochi donut . This is a must do! They smell so good and are delicious too! They make some other delicious must tries too . How about a corn dog fusion with cheese in it. Just don't ask, it's a must try! Mmmmm it's yummy. Challenge yourself and step out into new random territory and surroundings . Now parking is a nightmare, be patient and careful. Turn on the calm switch and let's go out and enjoy! The barrier of ordering provides an excellent opportunity to learn new skills . The menu is colored and simple enough to keep everyone happy. So if you don't speak the language don't worry it's still all good . Get out and have some new conversations and fun!

Love the variety of flavors of mochi donuts! They are always so delicious and fresh! The service is always quick and efficient and I love the vibes in the store! And I'm a pink-lover so I always love all of the pastel colors!

I loved mochinut the first time I tried it. The next time I went, they told me I had to get 3 so I didn't go back for a while because I didn't wanna gain weight. But since I was in Vegas, I told my friend he should try it. He was skeptical. He didn't wanna try it. He actually didn't sound interested in eating it at all. I had to tell him a story of how the chef over at pizzana decided to make their gluten free crust following this recipe and how people rave about that crust. That finally made him cave to try it. We went and got 3 donuts, the pistachio, churro and something else. The pistachio is definitely my favorite and has so much flavor to it. The mochi bite is so good and I love how you break these off into small bites to share. The churro tastes like a churro and I have no idea what the other one tastes like. My friend just couldn't stop eating these as well. He was pleasantly surprised when he took his first bite and you could physically see his eyes light up. He kept talking about how great it was and that it's such a good call that I picked this place. I'm happy he's happy with the choice and being able to try these donuts. The service here is quick and the ambiance is cool because there are a lot of claw machines here as well. If you get to try mochinut, definitely do it!

guy at the counter just stares at you when you walk in, no greeting which is fine but why are you just watching us, and when our order came out, he didn't even call out for a name or anything, we were the only group in there besides this couple but they left quickly, and he just stood near the kitchen area. never said a word until i look at him and he just points at a box on the counter, i told him he couldn't have said anything? and the wait was not worth it, some of our corn dogs were burnt

Came in around 2pm. Service was quick but pretty cold like other reviewers said. I ordered: - Tiramisu Ceylon MT w/ boba $6: the drink is 5/10 at best cuz the tea wasn't the best flavor to pair w the tiramisu imo, the boba is pretty delish sweet and chewy. So overall a 6.5/10. - Mochi $10: bought in 3 packs Taro and Original, they got all the flavors when i bought. Just like all other MN location I've been donuts very yummy and sweet, taste fresh cuz its probs early in the day. Original has the best cream top. 9/10. Pay cash is better cuz they charge card fees. Parking r plenty in the strip mall, there r seats and crane game inside.

I love mochi donuts and especially here! It seems like my family know my love for mochi donuts because I seem to get these sent to my house every bday through DoorDash. Lol That being said they have great variety and appearance and taste have been consistent for delivery. Excellent idea to send someone these treats as a pleasant surprise!! My top favorites are the matcha, ube, and pistachio

I stopped by around 2:30. I wasn't greeted nor was I offered any help. When I asked questions, I was treated more with annoyance. Aside from the two people working there that afternoon, the mochinuts were not fresh and seemed like they had been sitting out since the morning. The flavors I bought: matcha, caramel drizzle, cinnamon & sugar, cookies & creme, red velvet and the last flavor escapes me (sorry folks). Despite being made hours earlier, the mochinuts were still light and chewy. The flavors of most of them seemed slight, with the tastiest one being the cookies & creme.

This mochinut location is based in Las Vegas Chinatown. I have been here a few times and they are a shop that sells mochi donuts, boba tea, and Korean corn dogs. They also have claw machines on the side of the shop with lots of cute plushies inside to win. In my opinion, these claw machines are overpriced because they are payout based instead of skill based so it is extremely hard to win. In terms of the food, I love the mochi donuts here. The prices are typical of other mochi donut shops and they are always flavorful and chewy. The worker was nice and friendly and the drinks came out quickly. In terms of the drink, it was too sweet for me and didn't have enough tea flavor and was a bit pricy for what it is. Maybe I got the wrong drink here but overall mochinut is a great shop for mochi donuts and Korean corn dogs and to hang out!

Founded in Cerritos during the pandemic Mochinut has since expanded to nearly 200 locations including some overseas, Founder Jaewook Ha taking on the traditional eight-ball Pon de Ring alongside other #gramworthy creations like Korean Rice Flour Hotdogs and Bubble Tea. Situated locally in Suite #105 of the complex at 4355 Spring Mountain Road, a ground floor store not far from Paina Cafe or Mama Chai's, Mochinut operates mostly as take-out with lots of neon and claw games plus prices akin to the locally-owned spots. Using a Rice Flour base and various Glazes, flavors such as Matcha and Taro amongst the signatures, guests can expect a crisp exterior that gives with minimal pressure to insides that are stretchy but unfortunately flavored by Shortening. Smaller than Mama Chai's but notably heavier, a simple napkin dab or more than an hour in the box displaying far more oiliness, best bites came from Brown Sugar thanks to added texture while while Churro was similarly acceptable.

Taro, brown sugar milk tea, orange grapefruit

Minimum 3 donuts, so don't expect popping in for an afternoon treat. Basically walking in you're at a minimum spend of $10 including their 4% charge for cards. By 5p the flavors were limited, donuts were sitting out all day and clearly sitting on the rack right behind the counter with no protection from dust/bugs/etc. Donuts themselves are extremely average, maybe because we came in the afternoon after the flies had their first dibs. Smelled like garbage/trash inside. Wouldn't ever really recommend any family/friends to go out of their way to stop here when visiting or in the area.

Came here after a long while. Donuts are still pretty good. We got the corn dog as well. Shoutout to the man at the counter who was super nice. Ended up going to play the claw machines and actually got two prizes.

Very unique and tasty donuts. They have a great selection of flavors and other options for food and munchies too. Cool place

I popped in to get a doughnut I agree it's more than just a doughnut. They taste light and airy and chewy. I don't think I will ever want a traditional donut again! These are incredible got pistachio, original, and pineapple! There's is-seating but is mainly a get it to go place, there is a menu with hot and cold drinks. The service was good. These are Amazing a d worth paying three dollars each for ! I'll be back to try the other flavors and, I'm very impressed

Diane and I had another great Chi Town meal of comfort food here. She downed a large Vienna Beef…read moreCorn Dog after initially dunking it in mellow Cheese Sauce. Then she dipped Skin-on Skinny French Fries in the sauce. I enjoyed a Combo #4, which included my own generous serving of French Fries after applying some ketchup to them, along with a classic Chicago Dog, to which I added some Yellow Mustard (but of course no ketchup). Then I directed my attention to a 3-1/2 inch dipped Italian Beef Sandwich festooned with Sweet Green Bell Peppers, Sauteed Onions, and melted Mozzarella Cheese. Here "dipped" means drenched in very tasty au jus. I washed everything down with a Pepsi Zero. Service was friendly and quick, and all food arrived hot and well prepared. We arrived hungry at sundown, and left well contented after nightfall.

I'm originally from Chicago, and this was one…read moreof the few places in Vegas I could count on when I wanted an Italian beef, gyro, or other Chicago-style food. Unfortunately, after my last two visits, I will not be returning. The first bad experience happened about a month ago. I hadn't been in for several months, and from the moment my boyfriend and I walked in, the energy felt unwelcoming. The cashier was very short with me when I ordered. I initially brushed it off because I thought maybe she was tired or simply having a bad day. What stood out, though, was what happened when a white customer came in afterward. The interaction was completely different. The staff greeted her warmly, were friendly, patient, and engaging with her. My boyfriend noticed the difference as well. Still, I decided not to make an issue out of it and gave the restaurant the benefit of the doubt. Today I returned by myself, and unfortunately, I noticed the same pattern again. The same cashier was short with me, particularly when I asked a question. Again, I let it go. Then another white woman came in and received a noticeably warmer greeting and much friendlier treatment from the staff. Shortly afterward, another woman of color came in and asked the cashier a question about how a sandwich was prepared. The cashier responded so abruptly that the woman said something along the lines of, "I just asked a question. You didn't have to get short with me." Instead of simply clearing up the misunderstanding, an employee from the back jumped into the conversation and pointed toward a sign explaining the sandwich preparation. The entire interaction felt unnecessarily rude and dismissive over a simple question. Then came my own food. While waiting, I watched the staff scrape together the remaining fries that had been sitting there and bag them before the rest of my food was ready. A fresh batch of fries was made afterward. When my order was called, I politely asked if I could have some of the fresh fries instead. The cashier told me, "These are fresh." I explained that I had watched the fries being bagged before the new batch came out and simply asked again if I could have fresh ones. Her response was to make a face, turn around, and tell the other employee, "Just give her fresh fries. Just give her fresh fries to get her out of here." That was it for me. I wasn't yelling. I wasn't being disrespectful. I wasn't causing a scene. I asked for fresh fries after literally watching a fresh batch come out. There was absolutely no reason to speak about me that way, especially while I was standing right there. One uncomfortable interaction can be written off as someone having a bad day. Two visits where I observed noticeably different treatment toward customers, along with watching another woman of color receive the same dismissive attitude, is much harder for me to ignore. I can only speak to what I personally experienced and witnessed, but the difference in how customers were treated made me feel extremely unwelcome and uncomfortable. After being a returning customer who genuinely enjoyed having a little taste of Chicago here in Vegas, that is incredibly disappointing. The food is not worth being made to feel like my business is unwanted. I will spend my money somewhere that treats every customer with the same basic courtesy and respect. I will not be returning.

Funny name, but an awesome hot dog! I was surprised when I pulled in the parking lot, as I had just been there about a month earlier for some hot chicken. Chicken two stores down. So I was pleasantly surprised to find this place so close. Plenty of parking so you don't need to worry about finding a space, and you can't miss their logo. They're open everyday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., so you better go check them out. I went in and was pleasantly greeted, the lady behind the counter who I'm pretty sure was. The co-owner, was very friendly, informative and told me everything I needed to know about the hot dogs that they made. Them menu can be a little overwhelming, but I'm telling you what, there is not anything on the menu that I would skip. Today. Skip. Today I chose the Windy City hot dog as well as the Savage. I was mostly intrigued about the Savage as it is a bacon wrapped hot dog with grilled onions, and crumbled blue cheese. Are you freaking kidding me??? This is going to be amazing. I got them to go, got home pleasantly surprised to find everything. Still warm, and dug inn. Honest, these are some of the best hot dogs I have ever had. Now I have had hot dogs from Coast to Coast, one of my favorites being on the streets of New York City from a hot dog vendor, and I have to tell you that this hot dog was right up there. With that. The hot dog casing had some snap to it, the bacon was cooked perfectly. Cooked perfectly. The bun was super soft. All the makings of a great hot dog! The fries are really good, make sure you order them extra crispy because they are big french fries. And don't sleep on the dipping sauce! Although a tad pricey at $0.95 for a small container, it is definitely well worth it at from a flavor standpoint. Bottom line? You can rest assured that I will be visiting this place again, as there are so many wonderful things to try on the menu. If you are in the mood for a hot dog you can do no better than checking this place out!
