7/10/26 This location is bigger than the ones in California! After having dinner, we just happened to pass by and my friend noticed this!!! We were not gonna miss the chance when it's 102°F at 8:30 PM. They were closing in 30 minutes so we had to hurry. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ordered the hello halo halo iced Matcha Bandan latte and two other drinks that I don't remember (one with hibiscus and the other one something about rose?). These were made quickly and we enjoyed the taste on all counts. I like the Star Wars theme and how spacious the shop is. Will definitely likely return if I ever came back to Vegas.
Cute cafe with many ube options. We ordered the signature halo halo and ube cheesecake. Signature Halo Halo has Coconut Jellies, Jack Fruit, Boba, Frosted Flakes, Scoop of Ube Ice Cream and Flan. I'm not a big fan of overly sweet dessert and it had the right amount of sweetness. The Frosted Flakes really was the highlight of it. The ube cheesecake was perfect. The crumbs on top gave it a nice touch. A little on the pricey side but definitely will come back and try other items.
Everything I've tried here has been delicious, but the real star of the show is their ube cheesecake. If you're an ube lover, this place is dangerous for your wallet because they have so many ube desserts that are worth trying. Every time I come, I end up wanting to order more than I planned. The shop itself is clean, cute, and well-kept. My only complaint is that during the summer, it always feels really warm inside. I'm not sure if it's the AC or just the Vegas heat working overtime, but I usually don't stay long because of it. I'd recommend getting your food and drinks to-go if you're visiting on a hot day. That said, the customer service is always great. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and makes the experience enjoyable every time. Between the desserts and the service, I'll definitely keep coming back. But that ube cheesecake? That's the reason I can't stay away.

The addition of boba gives it a fun texture, and skipping the beans makes it feel lighter and more dessert-focused while still keeping that halo-halo spirit. The traditional halo-halo still hits that nostalgic note -- shaved ice, sweetness, and layered textures -- but Cafe 86's upside-down version is where they really stand out. It's familiar yet updated, almost like halo-halo reimagined for a new generation. If you're an ube fan or trying halo-halo for the first time, this is a great introduction. Classic roots with a modern twist -- and proof that innovation and tradition can absolutely coexist in one cup.
Matiki Bbq is closed so I decided to walk over to grab me a delicious Crinkle Ube Cookie. A definite must try.
All their desserts are amazing, and especially all of their different types of drinks, slushes, and teas. Great customer service and friendly greetings as soon as you come in. Very nice place to relax and drink your drink and eat some desserts while sitting down it's very clean.

We came here after exploring red rock canyon because we were craving a cold treat. We ordered 3 of their signature upside down halo halo and 1 of their regular halo halo. The halo halo was very creamy. I liked that they used boba in their halo halo as opposed to red bean in halo halo which I'm not really a fan of. It also came out really quick, which we were very happy about. This cafe has a lot of available seating and has really good air conditioning which I appreciate. There is also a decent amount of parking available so parking isn't an issue here. I definitely recommend checking this spot out if you haven't already. Try it out if you like. :)

This is a cute cafe. There's a lot of tables to sit and look cozy enough to do some studying and small get-together. The staff was patient and helpful as there were quite the amount of pastries and drinks on the menu to choose from. I like that each pastry was already individually packed. The mais con yelo dessert and the drink (I forgot its name, sorry) was great. The tree leches was a bit too much ube flavor for me, but my husband liked it. The bread pudding was amazing. The mais con yelo bar was not really a favorite, it was pretty bland and dry. Overall, it was good experience and the food and drinks w bought were delicious. Not pictured: ube bread pudding

There was no one at the front to talk to or take my order until I finally locked eyes with someone and they came around to the counter. Initially, we were intrigued because of the ube and filipino desserts, which we were happy with the choices. Then we were greeted with the Star Wars + Toyota AE86 decor and decided to hangout in the cafe while enjoying our desserts. We were immediately greeted by the cashier, who was patient as we navigated the menu while trying to keep our daughter's attention. They were also quick to get our order out. Ordered a strawberry calamansi cooler and upside down halo halo milkshake. Calamansi is a citrus fruit, popular in the Philippines, used for cooking and juices. It's similar to lemon and lime. Halo Halo (hah-low hah-low) is a Filipino dessert with ube ice cream, leche flan, beans, jellies and shaved ice. This cafe turns the ube and shaved ice into a milkshake with boba, with the added jellies at the bottom and the additional ice cream and corn flakes on top. We'll definitely be back to try more menu items and desserts!
I got a marketing email and was able to snag one of the Valentine's Day heart specials. It was basically in very cute tin packaging, but essentially their Ube cupcake base with cream cheese frosting. It had the perfect amount of Ube taste and the cream cheese frosting and a perfect combination to it. It was super moist and not dry at all, which is what I like from café 86.

I've heard that this cafe offers a variety of ube-flavored items, so I knew I had to try this place out. This spot offers a very casual atmosphere with fun and eclectic decor throughout. The cashier who helped us was very friendly and helpful when taking down our orders. We decided to order the regular sized Ube and Matcha Monster milkshakes which were highly recommended. While we waited for our drinks, we found a nice and cozy spot to lounge at which was located right next to the life-size Star Wars statues. Both of our milkshakes came out in a timely manner and they looked absolutely delicious. They were so creamy and flavorful with a very thick consistency. The ube was nutty, perfectly sweetened, and I couldn't stop drinking it. The matcha had an earthy flavor that balanced very well with the other ingredients. We'll definitely come back to try out more of their delectable treats that were presented on their menu. read more

Located in a small shopping center and parking is very easy. We ordered the ube crack cheesecake and the upside down halo halo. The halo halo was delicious but tasted like a rich taro smoothie to me. I liked the "upside down" version with the cornflakes and ice cream on top. The ube crack cheesecake was mid to me. It tasted very dry, but nonetheless my friend finished it up. Staff is very friendly. We didn't feel rushed despite showing up right before closing. It looked like they were also still fulfilling mobile/door dash orders upon closing. The space is cool to get work done and just hangout with friends. Lots of seating area. I would come here again if I am craving a halo halo! read more

I'm a major Ube enthusiast and any chance I get, imma come for my ube!!! Cute Ube Cafe in Spring Valley and they've got all things Ube! Def add to your Ube bucket list. We got the Upside Down Halo Halo, Ube brownie, Ube Truffle, Ube Butter Bar and Milo Cupcake. Space is pretty neat with life size Star Wars characters cleverly placed around. Friendly service all around. read more
Initially visited due to a hosted event but ended up ordering from the menu. Yelp has Cafe 86 highly rated, and since we're already here, might as well check out what they had to offer. Service: Being first timers, the cashier at the time was very nice and patient while we selected from the menu. Due to the ongoing event, I'm assuming the 15 minute wait for drinks is unusual on a regular day. Still warranted a 5 of 5 stars Food/Offering: Settled for the Halo Halo (like most folks that day) and Cali Mango w/ boba. I personally had the Cali Mango which was very good and the boba was cooked thoroughly. The Halo Halo, per my party, was noted to be good as well. 5 of 5 stars Overall: Nice little establishment with a life sized Darth Vader to greet you at the door. Seems like a cool place to hang out with friends. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area. read more
I had a pleasant experience getting help from one of the cofounders James. I had an issue with using a reward within the time offered, and he was able to accommodate and personally help me out with re ordering this. I feel like the quality of things here are top notch. You can find basically anything Ube and have anything from little treats to drinks. My go to is the upside down halo halo, which comes with a bunch of toppings , flan, cornflakes , and magnolia Ube ice cream. It is quite large so it's best shared. I see a lot of different locations of this popping up and it's become more and more popular in recent years. If you are craving a sweet treat that is Asian and Ube inspired, I would definitely recommend this place! read more
We came back. The Upside Down Halo Halo was awesome! The Pastrami Sandwhich was good too. I just wished their staff did a better job explaining ingredients in their sandwich i.e. mayo, mustard, what type of cheese, etc.. When i inquired about the Sea Salt Coffee, he said it's just sea salt. Come to find out it was diluted in so much cream! Cool vibes and chill music inside. Friendly service, however both workers need to do a better job taking the patience to explain their menu. read more

Okay, the ube hype has gotten a little out of hand these past few years. Everything's purple but barely tastes like ube anymore. Thank goodness Cafe 86 remains the exception. It's the only place I trust for real ube flavor.. and halo halo! DO NOT sleep on the ube truffles, ube crack pie and ube tres leches! read more
What a GEM of a coffee shop! The first thing we admired when we walked in was the life-sized models of Darth Vader and Chewbacca which immediately set the tone for our visit: unique and cozy with a tongue in cheek Star Wars vibe. The menu is extensive and includes some really fun coffee drinks with a scoop of ube ice cream right on top! My hubby snagged himself a cookie butter milkshake and I went with my caffeinated go to... iced coffee but with a sea salt float and boba! Holy smokes were both absolutely delicious AND affordable. My hubby is allergic to Oreos (I know.. what an unfortunate life roll amirite?) and they included them in his shake. When kindly asking if he could maybe choose something different from the menu instead, Alicia and Alison both hopped to making him a very literal BEST COOKIE BUTTER SHAKE EVER. He said he may just dream about this place and the shakes. That's HUGE as my hubby is pretty particular about his culinary delights. We will be back Cafe 86!! Thank you again! read more

I've been coming to Cafe 86 for years because they always have the best ube treats, both original and new. This time, I finally tried the Upside Down Halo-Halo, and it was amazing. I usually don't eat flan, but theirs was richer and creamier than most. My fiancé doesn't typically like sweets, but he really enjoyed both the halo-halo and the ube truffle. The truffle is one of my favorites since it combines ube and Oreo. There is plenty of space and seating, so we dined in. Our food came out quickly, and the staff was kind as always. Cafe 86 is a must for any ube fan. read more

Star Wars themed cafe, with a vast drink menu and ube desserts! Service was quick, definitely not a super busy place and there are plenty of seating options. Got a simple iced vanilla oat milk latte and it was decent, espresso could be a bit stronger. I recommend this place to all the Star Wars and ube lovers! read more

Picked up 4 bars on Saturday 3/14 and I'm disappointed :( I'm not sure what changed in the recipe but I could only take a bite and the rest went in the trash. The Ube does not taste the same as before! We are frequent customers but I'm not sure we will continue to go if the recipe stays this way. Maybe it was just this batch but I'm hoping the original recipe comes back! read more

Also, me and my nephew went here. We are not a fan of this place at all. We were excited to try it. I did get the Ube Matcha. There's just not a lot of places out there that make Matcha good in my opinion there's one specific place on Jones and I believe Desert Inn. They make an amazing Matcha so comparing everyone to them, it's not fair, but they said such a high standard. It's kind of disappointing when you get something that's just not ceremonial grade. Next my nephew got a brown sugar drink. It has the cornflakes and the Ube ice cream on top. He said the ice cream was good. The drink was good, but he wouldn't come back the flaw. He said it was dry. He did order a flan cupcake he didn't even eat because The flaw put them off in the drink so he just didn't eat it which is kind of disappointing. The thrust latches that was truly one of the best things that I had. It was good. It was honestly really good. Everyone there was friendly, the customers, one particular, was a little loud and rowdy. The decorations, and all the other things look really good but again that was good enough for us. I don't know there was just something about it again. I do know these guys have a lot of customers and they are loved by many it just wasn't our cup of tea. I don't think the flavor was strong enough in my drink and it was too floral. I do not like floral. I just have to stop getting much in places and go for a different drink except for one they only specialize in Matcha. I finally found a coffee spot with a couch to just chill out in. These places seem to be disappearing. The drinks were extremely tasty as well. The service was really friendly and answered all my questions...which I had several. I'm already looking forward to coming back. Also, I love Darth Vader welcoming you into the store!!! read more

Wasn't impressed by their ube drink where I had to add a shot of espresso separately. Didn't have much ube flavor. Nice big space inside. Wifi password was printed on the bottom of the receipt so the employee doesn't just tell you it, which forces you have to make a purchase first read more

It's a bakery and a tea shop. Most close early anyways. If you're looking for late night drinks try Cloud Tea.

The last time I went there they no longer did rewards. I don't think they started it up again.

Any day of the week but they sold out fast so I'd recommend to go early or the time when they open.

They have grilled cheese sandwiches. My husband and I tried it and it was really good, very cheesy. They serve it with a heaping amount of potato chips.

No you will have to ask them. They are very friendly and helpful.
What days and times is the ube flan available?
Any day of the week but its best to arrive in the morning when they open. They get alot of customers that buy in bulk. Do keep in mind with the recent opening and viral posts on social media with the Ube Craze has created a stir among foodie…

Nope, the last I heard they're trying again for opening on Father's Day *fingers crossed* Rest assured I'll smear it all over yelp when they're open...photos of ube everything!! ;)
