You have to have it . Matcha me please . This lobby is so nice and it's organized well. It's small and tight. It's super dog friendly. They have a patio out back where you can have matcha with a friend. Or have the furry baby and matcha on the patio , The menu is really easy to order from. The matcha soft serve is too amazing . It's usually the core of the drink that makes it taste good. Now when we can it was the opening weekend and they mixed up our order with someone else's, but we relaxed! It was made right after we had someone else's order. They mixed our numbers up. This parking lot has a bunch of spots but a divided barrier between it and a Dairy Queen. It's the same parking lot. No one does matcha like Urban . Parking is free too ! What's not to love? Come and have matcha anyway you like it . Now sit back and relax, watch the day go by. I Specifically asked if drinks are "sweet" because I like to taste my tea and not so much the sweeteners. "They said no drinks are sweet here". Got my drink and it tasted like mostly cream and sugar. I ordered the sea salt drink and tasted no salt. I Would recommend asking for half sweet if your preference again is tea forward / less sweet. Also, prices are pretty premium. Ubered all the way here from my hotel which was 15 mins. This is one of three viral matcha spots i've seen mentioned on tiktoks for best matcha spots. Trying to try all of them. First taste, reminds me of matcha cafe maiko. Kinda tastes exactly like them to me. Girl taking my order kind of intimidated me and they are smaller asian girls than me! The sweetness 75% is still sweet so i think u can go 50% esp if u get the banana cream on top. It tastes a lil artificial, very similar to cafe maiko without the crumbles. Im hoping the other matcha places r different from this taste. Im glad i got to try it tho! Def strong ceremonial matcha. This taste is just not my fav. We didn't win, but that was still a nice touch for purchasing on opening day. Got their regular iced Matcha Latte was smooth and tasty, and definitely a solid choice if you like classic matcha drinks. I know there's more than several matcha spots trending right now, but when they ask what I havent tried , they offer a sample so i can see of i like something , plus they ask how sweet or what kind of milk I prefer , i feel like you're customizing just for me. Got my matcha craving satisfied this morning! I heard great things about Urban Matcha and as expected, everything from the service to the drinks was amazing! Tried the new Urban Matcha location and it's a great addition! The space is similar to the original location. It's a nice spot to get work done, hang out or just cool off. I ordered the banana pudding matcha and it was really good--one of the best banana pudding matcha I've had. I had the matcha vanilla soft serve at the Jones location just recently, and maybe it's just me, but they tasted different from each other? Like the one here was less milky.. in any case, I did enjoy it still! Only complaints were the shiratama balls were not as chewy as I'm used to and in general, it was just kinda difficult to eat it all due to the layer placements. Finally tried this place and we're definitely coming back! We ordered banana pudding matcha and uji kintoki which is like a shave ice and it was so good! The mochi balls seemed kind of harder to chew for my liking but matcha was tasty! Entrance is a bit tight when it gets busy and seating is towards the back of the building. I ordered Iced Matcha Lemon Tea (large, $5.95), it's delightful and super refreshing! Also had Matcha Soft Serve (6.97) in a cone, so yummy and they give generous serving! Soft serve is silky smooth, light, creamy, and not too sweet, the thin wafer cone is delicate and has a lovely crunch, it's really good! Service from Kai and manager Wil is very kind, welcoming, helpful, and pleasant! Kai is so nice, attentive, and politely answered questions I had about the cream puff, he mentioned is very sweet but the matcha soft service is not too sweet. I love how this new location is near my work place! I didn't not know they were open. I was told by a staff member this week is their soft opening and I'm glad I was able to come in and not have to wait in line. It was very clean and the staff members were very friendly! We ordered the banana matcha and we enjoyed it, and though my favorite banana matcha drink is still from Phin Smith, this is actually pretty good. Not too sweet and the banana flavor is just right. The parfait was amaaazing. Two people could easily share it and I can see myself ordering this during the hot summer months. I'll had to admit, we finished everything without regret. We went in the afternoon and it was kind of busy, there is seating inside but if it were busy like when we went, you'd have to wait for a table as it's not a really big store and the seats are really close together so keep that in mind. hands down the worst experience I've ever had with customer service , I got there at 7 and the girl who opened the door almost seemed confused that I was there, she opened the door half way and I told her it says you guys open at 7???? She responded"o yea" .
