I've never been to a Yogurtland before this week, but I enjoyed the ice cream that I had so much the other day that I managed to pay them several visits in the past week alone. Today's visit being the third one. They have tons of flavors to choose from between their sorbet flavors and their froyo flavors. As well as an abundantly large list of toppings to choose from. The choices range from cheesecake bites to poundcake bites, granola, fresh fruits like pineapples and strawberries, M&Ms, sprinkles, and so so much more. I have a decent list of ice cream parlors that I typically frequent on hot and non-hot days. But on a 90° day like today I must say this location is a really nice addition to add to my pre-existing list. The ordering process is you grab the size bowl that you want. Then head directly to the self-serve station to choose your flavor of ice cream. After that head to the toppings bar followed by placing your ice cream down at the register to be weighed. The weight is what determines the price of your ice cream. Which means you don't quite really know what you're paying until the very end of the process. They have healthier options like fruit as well as things like brownie bites, cookies, cookie dough pieces, and assorted candies. They also have several choices for sauces (fudge, marshmallow, etc.). At the end they weigh your final selection, and then you enjoy! I tried the no sugar added iced coffee flavor with some assorted toppings which was excellent! Maybe this is a brand problem but I've never had frozen yogurt before. I was excited to try it and asked for some sample cups. I tried some flavors, most tasted like water but I opted for the vanilla ice cream, strawberry yogurt and cheesecake yogurt. They were all very watery and artificial. I topped with some fruit pearls, yogurt chips and cheesecake bits and for the small amount of ice cream it was $6. I couldn't believe the low quality of the yogurt and I'd be curious how much is actually in the mix. Even my boyfriend who said he hadn't been in years said it tasted very watery and artificial. As soon as I walked in, someone greeted me, then walked me to the flavor menu. From there, I told them the flavors and sizes that I wanted. No samples given out at this time. It's a little inconvenient when I didn't get to taste test, and had to have someone do the toppings for me, but I rather inconvenience than no frozen yogurt at all.
