Awwww this spot has been taken over by new owners and given a new name, so it's no longer La Paleta. I tried the new place a few times and it just isn't the same. I actually did not like my order--gasp! My usual order of pineapple sorbet now tastes like sour crushed ice. Sadly I will not be returning but I wish the new business well. read more

If you want paleta, Paleta Bar is much, much better. The chocolate is way too thick, the bottom half stuck to the container. The bar itself was not great, artificial tasting. The magonada was one of the worst we've had. The mango sorbet was flavorless, unripe mango, just not good. They have a big menu but would not come back to try anything else. read more

Can't say enough great things about La Paleta! My son & I LOVE their taro ice cream with the umami & delicate flavor. Their waffle cones are always fresh & amazing! We recently came here for dessert, and totally forgot my son's Amazon 7 Kids tablet. I didn't even realize I left it there until two hours later. I panicked since it is a brand new tablet. I called & the owner (Bob) answered and reassured me that his wife found the tablet & placed it under their register. I was so relieved that it wasn't stolen. And I sent my husband to grab it. My girl friends and I came here when we wanted a small but sweet cap after a meal out. I was excited to see their Dubai chocolate options, because I'd never tried that trending treat before. Each of the three of us got something different, and I opted for Dubai chocolate ice cream rather than the Paleta they both got. It was absolutely scrumptious. It combined fresh strawberries slices with creamy chocolate ice cream and a thick pistachio blend, topped with a crunchy break of shredded phyllo dough. The other ladies also loved their Paleta bars. They devoured them. One had a Dubai chocolate variety, while the other opted for a more classic, cream + fruit variety. The inside of the shop is so fun! It's bright and fun, with an expansive menu. They also have an arcade game, a mini claw machine, and collection of board games intended to entertain customers. My son was also there, and got to pick out a simple little game that involved pulling back elastic bands to try and ricochet mini pucks across to the opponent's side of the board. Looks like it's under new ownership. Took my kids yesterday and got them the same ice cream but one was a new batch. One of them was terrible and my 3 year old didn't want it. I tasted it and I could see why. It was horrible. I told the lady and instead of offering a replacement or refund since she had like 2 scoops from it. She didn't say a word. Just said to me, The new person made this. I was thinking, I don't care who made it. Take the initiative to offer me a new scoop of another flavor since you tried it and agreed it was bad. They have a large menu ranging from ice cream to açaí bowls to tres leches cake. I love that they have so many different ice cream and paleta flavors! There's definitely a flavor for everyone, I got 2 paletas - a sandia and fresas con crema. They flavors were delicious and you could tell they use quality ingredients. The customer service and ambiance was one of our favorite parts of the experience. They were unbelievably so kind and welcoming. They let us know about all of the items they offered and we were able to try a few free samples of the ice-cream before purchasing. My husband ordered his favorite cookies and cream, but I decided to try something different. I got a scoop of the Cotija cheese and strawberry ice cream, layered it with fresh strawberries and topped it with crushed graham crackers. We got both, strawberries and crane, ube milkshake and a scoop of hot chocolate ice cream. They have a variety of Mexican snacks on steroids. A variety of sweet and savory street snacks available for all palates. It's a great place to bring the family for all to choose something fun and tasty. The place is colorful and well kept. It smells clean the moment you walk in and everything in display is nicely kept up. Today, we tried their mini pancakes with strawberry ice cream, strawberries, bananas, and Nutella drizzle. It also came with whipped cream. I said, "wow that's good!" as soon as I took a bite of their strawberry ice cream. That tasted so fresh -- you'll know what I mean if you try it! The mini pancakes were crispy and soft -- so good. A great amount to share between two people. And even their whipped cream was good. The fruits were good as always. The staff were friendly, and made it quick! They said it could be 10 minutes but I dont think we waited that long. I was hesitant to get the mini pancakes because we've tried it somewhere else before and it wasnt nearly as good as this one. This place used to be a boba spot(they still offer boba drinks) but I'm do happy that a Mexican ice cream shop took over because other spots like La Flor de Michoacan went downhill in quality. Paletas are a steal at $3 each and their ice cream flavors are BOMB! You can "try before you buy" so after a few tastes, the minion in me went for the Banana Pudding and Cajeta. Their color-changing spoons are SO COOL too! My fave paleta right now is their Guava and Cream, and I'm curious to try their savory specials on the weekend. Definitely will be back. Tried this place for the first time tonight. All the staff was super nice and very helpful. They have everything from made in house ice creams, tres leches cake and paletas. Incredible desserts. I don't live in Vegas and was just visiting but when I saw the sign, I knew I had to have this. Their ice cream flavors were unique and all delicious. Owner was nice and let us sample everything we wanted to. We got 5 paler as, 3 scoops of ice cream and a tres leches cake. I love tres leches and they gave us an ample amount of the lechera, which I love!! I slurped it all up! The strawberries were thinly sliced and had condensed milk on it. So yummy!! Their ube was delicious. They had Biscoff!!! One of my favorite flavors. And the berry lechera did not disappoint. They had plenty of seating and a little Super Nintendo system for kids to play! This was a really cute ice cream place to try! They have a lot of unique flavors like cotija cheese, Lechera, and rose... They were able to give some free taste samples and I ultimately picked the Lechera which was a condensed milk ice cream. Quite risky, considering I'm occasionally lactose intolerant- but I didn't really get a stomach ache. I would get it again. On the other hand, my boyfriend got a fruit and yogurt bar and he enjoyed it! It had real fruits. :) In terms of customer service, it was okay. I noticed that the server leaves the serving spoons on the bar and I wouldn't necessarily say it was sanitary. That is probably my only ick, and why I didn't give a full star review.
