The owner of the Protein Source is amazing. We were parked across the parking lot with a broken down car can he saw us came to make sure were ok. He offered to help and told us to sit in his resturant while waiting on our tow. He made us feel very welcomed, and made sure we were comfortable. It is great to know there are amazing people out their willing to assist those in need. There was my sister my elderly mother and myself all disableld. Amazing food, very healthy finally a decent option because sometimes healthy isn't always the tastiest but THIS PLACE MAKES IT SO. The portions could be a little bigger for the price I think, but the quality is very worth it for the most part. I got the steak tenderloin with cauliflower and avocado as a build your own but they have really good bowls and burgers here - vegan and vegetarian options. Of all the Protein spots in town, this one is my FAV! I love everything about this place. The dining area is small but cozy and clean. Atmosphere is casual and versatile. Our order was taken quickly and with no issues which is also how it was brought to our table about 15 min later. I had the West Side Turkey Bowl. There so many Bowls to chose from too! I ordered mine with no beans or rice and added more veggies as the base. It was delicious! Turkey was not dry and perfectly cooked as were the veggies. My friend had the scram eggs with turkey sausage patties and the protein waffles. I had some of the waffles and they were really good! I would come here more frequently if it were closer to home. It is one of my favorite spots to bring friends who want to eat out but still want to eat healthy and watch their calories/macros. Some cheddar cheese and turkey sausage. They stake this up to make an unforgettable breakfast party all in your mouth and tummy:). It comes with sugar free syrup and a fresh berry jam. I think the food is good overall and the menu is also good. The problem is the operation. I have been trying to eat lunch at the flamingo location all week. I call my order in ahead, but first day no one answered when I called. Second day they answered but said they were out of steak, salmon, avo, and a few other things, today called twice and second time they answered and I was on hold for 5 mins. Got to the store and it was chaos, ppl were irritated waited for their food (clearly had been a long time), my order was placed 20 mins before arrival and I wait another 10 mins. They have everything you need to replenish after exercise or if you just want a simply delicious and healthy meal Most healthy foods don't taste that good, and I consider my self a picky eater, but I find myself craving their food and looking forward to coming here after working out.
