Me in a Carrot Cake & Cheesecake Cookie

Cookio Cafe This place is a hidden gem if you're into quality desserts and coffee. Everything tastes fresh, balanced, and not overly sweet -- which is hard to find. The baked goods are soft, moist, and clearly made with care, not mass-produced. I especially loved how clean the flavors were -- you can actually taste the ingredients instead of just sugar. Paired perfectly with a good cup of coffee, it's an easy spot to relax, work, or just grab something sweet without feeling weighed down. The vibe is calm and welcoming, service was friendly, and the presentation was on point. You can tell they take pride in what they're putting out. If you're looking for a solid dessert-and-coffee stop, this one's absolutely worth checking out. I'll definitely be back.

5 for $22.95 is a deal for the size and deliciousness of these empanadas!! The man who served me was very sweet and seemed very passionate about the food. Inside was decorated very aesthetically and has many places to dine or even study! I will have to come back and try the desserts and drinks! 10/10 recommend, I devoured everything!

The outdoor patio is so nice and I would love to sit there if it wasn't 113° right now. But just such a cute vibe! You walk in and there are tons of seating! They have more intimate tables for smaller parties and then in the back they have a larger table as well as a couch. Plenty of outlets and the chairs are super comfortable. The service was absolutely amazing, the guy that was helping me at the register was so nice. Had such a great energy to him and gave me a lot of insight on the menu. we went back-and-forth on a couple of different drink ideas. I ended up going with the baklava latte with almond milk and light ice, and it was delicious! It wasn't super sweet, It does have a bit of a texture to it because they actually take the baklava filling and purée it. They also do Turkish coffee there and I am dying to check that out when it is winter time! I believe the desserts or most of the desserts are vegan! I did get the lemon loaf and it was fantastic, wasn't too sweet, It was the perfect ratio of lemon to poppyseed to cake. I also got their Chia parfait and it was fresh! They make everything in house! Really awesome first time experience there and I will definitely be back!

I like my coffee on the sweeter side and this coffee hit. I would definitely order it again. This is a great place to study. You can really taste the quality. It's a bit pricier than most coffee shops, especially for a smaller cup, so it feels more like a specialty treat rather than an everyday stop. We got there right before 12 on a Sunday and the line was out the door because the place is tiny. We were glad it moved fast however, once inside they only had a selection of 3 classic flavored donuts and they were wrongly labeled. We thought "they close at 9pm for sure they will be bringing out more, it's barely noon" Nope! We felt totally scammed and in disbelief that Saint Honore Doughnuts and Beignets does not prepare to meet supply and demand even after a big concert for which a lot of tourists are in town. I asked the cashier if they would bring out any more donuts given that they close late and she very sarcastically said "no, we sell pizza and a lot of people order our pizza" Mind you, there was no more pizza by the slice to order either. You would think that a place that promotes itself to sell "doughnuts and beignets" and lists it in their name would actually sell that for most of the day right? I guess they're a pizza parlor after the donuts run out ‍ Skip it unless you're there for the pizza that a lot of people order lol The "classic donuts" were good and the seasonal fruit tart too. I'm just not sure I would wait in line again, especially after the sarcasm with the side of disappointment we were served.

This is a cute little hole in the wall coffee shop just off the 215 freeway at Town Center in Summerlin. They had their March menu on display in the very front, and my eye immediately caught their Lucky Charms Matcha Latte. I don't eat cereal at all, but I was interested in this drink and asked for the basics on it. This latte has made from scratch Irish cream syrup, your choice of milk, marshmallow cloud, and topped with Lucky Charms marshmallows, but without the crunchy cereal part. This drink tasted like and had the texture exactly like St. Patrick's Day. It was amazing! March is almost over, so catch this drink and all their other March drinks on hand when you still can. This is one of those places where they flip the tablet around to ask for an upfront tip before any service is even rendered. After ordering, we were given a number, which led us to assume our food would be brought to the table. Instead, our order just sat on the counter for a while because the chef/cook called it out so quietly we could barely hear it. When we realized it was sitting there, we had to go grab it ourselves, only to find no utensils included--meaning we had to hunt those down, too. It begs the question: what exactly are we tipping for if we're doing all the work? The cashier was also incredibly quiet and hard to hear during the ordering process; as the face of the business, a little more enthusiasm would go a long way. Like a few other reviewers have noted, we also felt like certain orders and customers were heavily prioritized over others. We noticed the owner giving warm, enthusiastic greetings to specific tables while completely ignoring the rest of us. It was a major letdown, especially since I usually love supporting local Asian-owned spots and usually experience top-notch hospitality at places like this. The service here was just incredibly subpar. There are plenty of other cafes in the immediate area with the exact same ordering system that manage to deliver exceptional service. People go for the food, but they come back for the service.
