Hello Breaking Bad fans! Introducing the Walter White and other coffee names & flavors! I ordered the Walter White which is espresso and their homemade chocolate caramel syrup, with half and half. (I hope I got that description right!) Whatever the case, Desert Wind Coffee Roasters has some unique and delicious flavors. Hubby got a Kenyan coffee of the day and says it's pretty good! This place looked like it was closed so be sure you check the hours. Once inside, it is a cozy and warm atmosphere with a fun variety of seating. It is truly a hidden gem! Don't miss out on good coffee! Support your local small business coffee house. You will be pleased. Our barista was very welcoming with smiles all around. The selection of treats to eat was also good! read more

This evening we attended a special event at Coffee Note, a weekly Friday night gathering held from 6PM to 10PM. Tonight's theme was swing dancing, which kicked off with a beginner lesson at 6:15PM. The cover charge was a reasonable $15.50 per person and included a free drink from their selection of standard beverages. We went with the lemonade, which was served in an elegant champagne flute. It was decent, though it didn't taste freshly squeezed. The turnout was excellent--during the lesson, the place was packed shoulder-to-shoulder, with dancers filling every available inch of floor space. Afterward, a live jazz band took the stage and kept the energy high. The night was genuinely fun, with swing in the air and a lively, nostalgic atmosphere. It did get quite warm inside, but a couple of fans helped keep the air circulating. On regular nights, I understand Coffee Note shifts to a more relaxed open jazz jam session--perfect for sitting at a table with a drink and soaking in the sounds of America's musical past. The venue itself is a charming little coffee shop that feels ideal for reading, working, or enjoying quiet conversation with friends. We'll definitely be back for future events. read more

Delicious strong forward coffee taste in the latte. Did not have to make any adjustments. Eun's addiction in iced latte form is the perfect amount of sweetness. I had to buy their whole bean roast. We went in on a Monday morning. Service was great. It was nicely paced, not at all packed. Clearly a local gem. read more

This roaster has delicious drinks, a large menu with signature drinks, pastries, and merch. I had never been before but the cashier answered all my questions and helped me pick a drink that I would enjoy. I decided on the "Iced Flynn" which was coconut based drink with their house made caramel sauce. It was delicious and refreshing in the Vegas heat. There are tables and seating around the space. It's a great place to meetup with some friends and catch up. There sell some local small business goods, coffee merch, and a shop mug. I'm a fan and will be back. read more

I came to Desert Wind several years ago for a Yelp Elite Event with Nate. It was a great event, and I always loved their coffee, but its a little far for us. Well, we have recently found ourselves on this side of town a bit more, and we've come back on multiple occasions now, the most recent being last weekend. Service is absolutely top notch. We've not had any experience less than personable, friendly, and kind, with great conversation and recommendations. They roast their own beans, which thrills me, and the coffee is phenomenal. In addition to their drinks. We've so brought home several bags of beans. If you havent been here before, or if its been a while, come back out and enjoy a lovely coffee and pastry. The shop itself is cozy, comfortable and inviting. Bring a book and read a while! Can't wait to come back! read more

Hidden within a small plaza stands Desert Wind Coffee Roasters. The interior feels rustic and homey, with lots of comfy seating all around. There is even a rack full of trinkets you can purchase from local artists. The smell of freshly pulled espresso shots fill the air, while the cafe stirs with quiet convos. Their menu is quite big, offering an array of coffee, teas, and beverages - showcasing the craft of their talented baristas. Bea was the barista who helped us today, delivering excellent services and overall being an amazing help in guiding us through their menu. Shoutout to them! From their recommendations, I ordered the Canario Latte with Brown Sugar syrup, filled to the top with Oat milk. It was exquisite. The espresso pulled through nicely, while the notes of brown sugar are light and smooth. My partner ordered a simple cappuccino to truly taste their blend. The blend itself was a smooth pull, with notes of chocolate and nuttiness. They roast in-house which is amazing. All in all, Desert Wind Coffee Roasters is a great cafe, with talented and friendly baristas, and amazing coffee. I recommend coming on down to truly taste their coffee, I know I plan to again! read more

Stopped by mid-morning on a weekday and recieved my coffee and warm croissant within a few minutes. This is a nice coffee shop that has a wide range of coffee, tea and pastries. They have a good variety of coffee beans as well in case you're serious about your coffee. My coffee was well balanced and the croissant was good. The decor is eclectic and there's plenty of seating if you want to hang out or study. It was fun to look around while I was enjoying my coffee. read more

I've never had a bad experience or drink here!! It's so refreshing to go to a coffee shop and the barista actually cares and wants to make you a good drink LOL Upon walking in today I was greeted by a kind barista who asked what I liked. She informed me which syrups were house made and what were not. I got the peanut butter latte and it wasn't too sweet or overpowering. 10/10 coffee shop read more

Beautiful little oasis tucked away in an otherwise typical strip mall. Service was friendly and fast. I only had an ice tea, but the baked goods looked tasty. I'll have to defer to others on their coffee as I don't drink it read more

Great tasting coffee that's roasted in house. We were in the area and wanted to try something new, and found Desert Wind Coffee house. Tucked away in a small strip mall, parking was tough to find, but was worth it. Inside there is plenty of seating and cool handmade trinket and goods. Felt very cozy inside. They offer a few baked goods, I don't think they are made in house, looked like repackaged Costco muffins? Could be wrong though. Love that they offer milk alternatives like oat milk and also decaf espresso! Service was friendly. I ordered a peanut butter cup latte, with oatmilk. It was pretty tasty. Not very sweet, and peanut butter came through. Maybe a natural style peanut butter, it was a little earthy. Not a strong chocolate taste though. Definitely will try the Golden knight latte next time, it's has turmeric in it. read more

What a great find! I stumbled upon this place because my usual spot was closed today, and I'm so glad I did. You can smell the coffee aroma from outside, which instantly got me excited. I ordered the dirty matcha latte with oat milk, it was super tasty, but now I'm curious to try their regular coffee next time. The service was friendly, and the ambiance felt like visiting a friend's parents' house, cozy and welcoming. I'll definitely be returning! read more

My local caffeine fix. I've visited this Roaster many of times with their Breaking Bad themed coffee. The service is welcoming and respectful. They also support local artists and host live performances evenings. Recently I've heard an occasion where I believed that flowers were due. Thank you for a great cup of coffee. See you guys soon. read more

What a wonderful experience I've had at this place now twice this week. They're hidden in a strip mall on the corner of Buffalo and Sahara, but I promise it's worth the treasure hunt to find them. The peanut butter cup latte is absolutely one of my favorite drinks I've had in town and the reason I've come back twice within three days. The service is absolutely phenomenal, friendly, and willing to answer any questions. They also get bonus points for actually having a couch. I don't know when it changed for coffee houses to stop comfortability, but I really wish it would come back. Great job guys and I can't wait to come back in a few days. read more

One of the best coffee shops in Las Vegas. The toffee nut whether hot or cold is my favorite and I've been here many times. Staff is great and always welcoming and genuinely happy to see you come back. This coffee shop is a hidden gem!! The staff were so kind and friendly and happy to give us a rundown of their specialty drinks. I tried the "Walter White" latte and it was AMAZING. I'm a pretty tough critic when it comes to flavored lattes, and I was pleasantly surprised at how good this was. It was the perfect balance of sweet without masking the flavor of the coffee. So good!! The atmosphere was relaxed and the music volume and selection was perfect for studying or working. There was also a decent amount of seating. Overall super glad I found this spot! read more

Wow! I really got put on! I absolutely loved this place. My husband had been a few times and kept telling me how awesome it was. I finally went and it has become my new favorite coffee spot. They have it all!!! Looking for a particular coffee, I'm sure they got it. The menu can be a lil overwhelming but the staff's very helpful. The music is not too low so you can actually have a study here as we were doing and there was a book club that showed up as well. I got the Gustavo and added the caramel syrup. If you like strong coffee this one was it. My husband got the Eun Addition. It was okay. It was also strong but very thick and nutty in my opinion. I can't wait to be back read more

I love coffee and am always excited to try new places. While visiting my brother--who's also a coffee lover--we stopped in for lattes. The coffee was good, but I would've liked it to be a bit stronger, as it tasted more milky than coffee-forward. The space was inviting, with plenty of bags of beans that gave it a true coffee shop feel. It was quiet and calm, and the service was excellent. read more

Updating my review after continual patronage of this coffee house. Still remains my favorite in town...best quality espresso, great prices, good ambiance and friendly staff. I will say, the recent addition of offering home made pastries and dessert options by one of their baristas is fantastic. It appears she makes a random pastry or dessert option (I've seen apple pie like a McDonald's style hand held pie), macarons, toffee pudding, scones of various types and more. I've tried almost all of them and they are always great and the pricing is very reasonable for something home made. Definitely adds a nice touch to the pastry options with something good and different. Love that the owner encourages her staff and supports them with this kind of stuff as well. Top notch. Still after all these years, the best coffee house in town. read more

If I could pick one retail establishment to be closer to my house in the entire city this would be that place! Amazing assortment of beans for the home grinder in all of us. Pour overs available in multiple sizes, multiple single origin drip options. A coffee connoisseurs dream! The batistas are knowledgeable about the respective beans and can recommend a flavorful drink as well. There are plenty of spots to sit inside. You would never guess such a gem would be tucked away in a nondescript strip mall but here they are! read more

It felt like the baristas at this coffee shop lacked a proper understanding of coffee. I was excited because it was a roastery, so I asked if they offered pour-over coffee. The barista told me they had Rwanda and Ethiopia, so I ordered a cup of Rwanda. However, what I was served was auto-brewed coffee. On top of that, it had gone cold, and they reheated it using an espresso machine steam wand before serving it to me. I'm extremely disappointed, and the coffee itself was not good either. read more

Plenty of indoor seating. Good place to work/study. They have various coffee and non coffee items. Plenty of onsite free parking as well. 5 stars . Hands down. This is .y first time and I'm very impressed. I love the visuals, from the giant bags of coffee beans to the mini coffee mugs . What a great concept. Old fashioned table and chairs on the outside for customers to sit and drink. I noticed the menu had sone good little treats. The customer service was really good and appreciated. Great service, great coffee! Very relaxing vibe. This was my first time and will definitely go back.

This place has the best coffee I've ever had. But it's the Walter Whites that are my absolute go to drink for the perfect pick me up, plus it taste amazing. I'm not sure what makes them taste better than other places I've tried, but they definitely know what they're doing with those fantastic beans. When you walk in the most pleasant coffee smell just hits different, it's something I look forward to it every time. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. I've been drinking their coffee for about 9 years and when I try other places or other beans, they just don't compare in flavor. I've tried the Espresso beans, Colombian, Sumatran and Guatemalan all were really great and I plan on trying them all. See you soon read more

cool hidden cafe spot, definitely has that desert and antique/western type of aesthetic- lives up to the name for sure. they sell desert animals magnets, crystal beaded bracelets, hand made pottery coffee mugs/bowls, collectibles and all kinds of unique hand crafts as well as their coffee beans. i was very excited for, either their matcha or the dirty thai tea. Their matcha is culinary grade rather than ceremonial, so i decided to pass on the matcha and try out the "Dirty thai tea latte" instead, now i was actually excited for it due to the fact it is a very unique combination as it is ( 2 expresso shots with thai tea latte) and i would say it definitely tasted amazing. The only downside is that the thai tea already comes pre made so you cannot alter the sweetness level or milk alternatives as it comes pre made with half and half milk. I usually like my drinks unsweetened~half sweet, so in my opinion it was veryyy sweet and i was unable to alter the sweetness level. overall, it is a unique place with unique hand made collectibles, if i happen to be near by i will give this place another try for a different coffee and milk alternatives, as this place has great reviews on their coffee i'm sure all it needs is the sweetness levels more balanced! read more

Incredibly cozy, spacious cafe with a large selection of drinks. Hot and iced teas, hot and iced coffees, matcha, espresso shots and more. I've visited a couple of times. During my most recent visit, I was greeted by a friendly cashier. She offered to give me recommendations and was really patient as I sifted through the menu on the board. I ordered a matcha latte. She brought out an iced latte because I didn't specify and she assumed I wanted an iced drink since it is middle of summer. She kindly remade my drink because I intended to order a hot latte. Thankfully it was a non-issue. I sat and read my book for about half an hour. It's not too loud in there nor is it too quiet. There were about 12 other customers in the shop when I stopped by and still a few seats open. Will definitely be back when I'm on that side of town. read more
