    B5. Mango Smoothie

Definitely a place you go to for the food. I always get the brisket pho and it never disappoints. I love the broth and the portion sizes. I decided to order a mango smoothie this time and tasted super good. I think it was excellent service I don't have anything to say about it and the guy was super friendly. There were flies that wouldn't leave us alone but eh. He also brings water right away before you even order. Place is pretty small and only a few people when you come. I love this place and will continue to come here.

HAIR IN THE CHICKEN LO MEIN

Was enjoying my food until I noticed the cooked Fly, after that we check the other food and found a hair! $50 wasted on contaminated food. extremely disgusted and upset! Will not be returning

I don't know why they even bother calling it Ramen when it's not even close. Broth tasted like what they used for their Pho. They don't even use ramen noodles. Stay away from their "Ramen". Also, don't be fooled by the pictures on their menu. Pho is average as far as taste go. Good-sized serving. Place didn't have a working heater. It was cold inside.

I enjoyed my Pho and the broth was light but flavorful. I feel like I want to give 3 stars because there wasn't anything amazing but there also wasn't anything bad about my bowl. I would eat there again. Service was fast and friendly.

Yummy, yum, yum, It's hard to find good pho. The places here in town we had tried all failed...miserably. But we happened upon this place by accident. I would welcome these types of accidents daily. I got the chicken pho. One size bowl...huge. The chicken was cooked with honey and coconut and it was the best chicken I ever had in pho. I am a fan of white meat. This was chunks of dark meat and it was amazing. I will not have a review of my own for anything but chicken pho here because I will never order anything else. The broth was deep and rich with flavor and the lovely aroma of clove. Noodles cooked perfectly. The usual bean sprouts, jalapeno and cilantro came with it. It was a truly terrific pho. The wife got the brisket pho and enjoyed hers too. She finished her big bowl. I tasted the meat and broth and frankly, it was good, but nothing like the flavor of the chicken. We both got a smoothie to go. Order it before you finish your meal. they have one blender and it takes a while. But both the lychee and jack fruit smoothies were amazing. No, I don't get the tapioca bubble things. That's just weird. This is our go to pho place in Las Cruces. You should go there too. Private parking lot in the back. Very limited seating inside. They have an amazing menu of dishes. But we wanted a pho place and now we have it.

    22. Combo Fried Rice Plate

I always pass by this place so my mother and I decided to finally try. Very glad we did! We were seated right away and ordered the Combo Fried Rice Plate, shrimp spring rolls, and Chicken Pad Thai, along with a mango and avocado boba smoothie. Within 5 minutes our spring rolls were ready and served with a side of peanut sauce. VERY refreshing and crunchy. My fried rice was delicious. The only odd part was the imitation crab, but it was still tasty. I've had a hard time finding a good boba place, but this one is decent. Service was fast and food was tasty. I will be back!

    "Grilled pork" vermicelli

Grossest vermicelli bowl ever. I feel ripped off. Horribly bland. Pathetic effort. Very few sad ingredients. Inedible grilled pork. $14 wasted. Now I have to find another dinner.

I went for the first time on a recommendation from my boyfriend. He said he really enjoyed the ramen so that's what I got. The entire dish tasted wayyy too sweet, to the point where after eating it for thirty minutes the smell made me feel nauseous. I also tried the shrimp spring rolls and the rice paper was sticky and felt gummy to eat. I also noticed in both dishes there was a strong soapy smell. The only saving grace was the matcha smoothie I got, which tasted amazing along with the boba pearls. Definitely will be coming back for the drinks, but not so much the food.

We were exhausted & had drove…read more500 miles this day already so the last thing we wanted to do was get out & go eat at a busy restaurant. The desk ladies at our hotel gave us some delivery menus and we chose bowl to go. The first two times I called it rang for ages & no one answered but I later found out their computer systems had gone down. I was positive we weren't ordering pizza so I tried again & got an answer. I ordered the Teriyaki garlic shrimp, teriyaki noodle side & a Dr. Pepper. They said it would be just shy of $15, pretty reasonable for the amount of food they sent & it arrived after only 20 minutes! The Teriyaki noodles were amazing!!!!! Whatever they had in their teriyaki sauce I would love to know it was a bit sweet, nothing like a store bottle of teriyaki sauce. When I opened my teriyaki garlic shrimp & fried rice it was full of veggies which I had ordered to leave out. I called the restaurant back & asked if they had sent someone else's order and they apologized and had a new one out to me in ten minutes. They threw in some soup & a spring roll because of the mess up which was very kind. They didn't have to do that. The teriyaki garlic shrimp didn't taste like teriyaki or garlic but I love shrimp so I didn't care. The fried rice was good, a different flavor than your typical Chinese buffet, it was sweet, whatever sauce they're using they should bottle it because it's wonderfu. All in all I was extremely full & satisfied. Great little place.

Don't make the same mistake that I made and think that suffering for at least a day in terrible pain is worth only spending a few bucks on lunch. There food quality is clearly really bad. The chicken comes out in perfect cubes...tell me that isn't odd. They were out of half of their soft drinks, too. I had to pour lots of soy sauce on my food to make it even slightly tasty. Maybe they have improved over the last couple of months, but I just thought there needed to be an honest review up here.

Everything was super tasty highly highly recommend the kimchi pancake. Flavor was spectacular and perfectly crispy/crunchy. The squid entree was very tasty too just a little too many peppers for me. Would get again if I didn't want to try other things. Value is really great for how much food I got. Yes we really over ordered (2 apps 2 entrees for 2 people) but still all the plates were big. Perhaps only downside is that the dining area is pretty small. I would expect them to outgrow their little storefront quickly. I'd come back next time I travel to El Paso.

It was a bit uncomfortable with how loud it was and sitting next to strangers not being able to have a comfortable conversation with the person in front of you. The food was really good! I enjoyed the tteokbokki so much and I feel like as simple as this dish is, a lot of places sometimes miss. Again I know it isn't their fault maybe the day I came in it was really busy and maybe it's not that busy usually but I would have liked to be in a bigger space.

Let me start off by saying that the kind lady who I believe is one of the owners was so nice. She reminded me of my own grandmother serving me food with love back then. Cafe Korea's New Far East Location: Great Food, But Some Growing Pains…read more Cafe Korea has officially reopened at 1452 N Zaragoza Rd Unit A-900, and as someone who missed their Northeast location, I was excited to visit. The space is larger, parking is easier, and the menu still features those comforting Korean staples--but there are some definite hiccups that need attention. First impressions: each table comes equipped with a portable butane grill, which is impressive considering the cost to run them. But while the grills worked well, the ventilation is poor--expect to leave smelling like smoke, and brace yourself for the heat. The restaurant was already uncomfortably warm, and with summer just starting, that's going to be a serious issue for both diners and staff. Service was, unfortunately, disorganized and inconsistent. While the staff were friendly, they seemed overwhelmed and underprepared. There didn't appear to be table assignments, and we often had to wave someone down for water or more banchan. At one point, I saw groceries being brought in through the back--suggesting that even the kitchen operation might be scrambling behind the scenes. Now, to the food--still the highlight. The banchan was delicious and clearly homemade, and once we got a refill, they were generous with portions. The meat quality was excellent, and we were able to share a BBQ set among two adults and two kids and still leave satisfied. But the price point? High. Our modest lunch totaled around $60, including charges for water. A friend who went earlier in the week paid $70 for a seafood pancake and galbi--for one person. With Gen Korean BBQ opening nearby offering all-you-can-eat options, and other local Korean spots like Tommy's Express and Garlic 1% serving equally fresh meals at lower prices, it's fair to question how sustainable this model is. Final Take: Cafe Korea still delivers on flavor, but the overall experience is rough around the edges. Between high prices, spotty service, and a sweltering dining room, it's hard to fully enjoy the meal. I want them to succeed--but to compete in today's Eastside food scene, they'll need to iron out the basics fast.

So the food seems "clean" - no msg or other junk added. However, it was virtually tasteless. I mean, c'mon, add some garlic, onion, ginger, chile,... there're hundreds of options to add flavor. So yeah, food was bland. First time I got the chicken katsu bowl. The chicken was a bit bland, like the chicken itself had zero seasoning, not marinated for flavor, nothing. The breading was ok. Tempura was ok. Second time, I got Sweet and Sour Pork Soba. It wasn't breaded like most places, and that was ok, because I am Keto. But,... I was also a bit glad that there wasn't a lot of sauce, which is usually sugary elsewhere. However, the sauce in hand, was just like water with a little bit of redish something or other. Sweet and Sour is literally sugar (or SOMETHING sweet, like, perhaps, pineapple... ) and vinegar. This was a bowl of Soba with ten, maybe, 1/2" square chunks of tasteless pork, and 2 TB of cabbage. Bland. Unspiced. Boring. Would I eat there again? Probably not. Unless I was more in the mood for "clean" food, then tasty food. It IS possible to do both!
